The staff at the heat pump store are all so kind. They enter your house and take precautions to cover their shoes, which I greatly appreciate. They promptly cleaned up the mess that they had made. The level of professionalism and kindness is something you don’t see anymore. If I could recommend any store for the installation of a heat pump, I would highly recommend “The Heat Pump Store”. They have incredible customer service, and The work is also incredible. If you’re looking for some old-school professionalism and kindness that we don’t get in this world anymore go to the heat pump store shout out to. A little slow on the scheduled date/time for the the service time mentioned, but due to the problems they had with their equipment was understandable. Retired so can be flexible with the scheduling, and they were good about communicating with us on the rescheduling issues, so no problem.

Service was performed in a very timely manner and was as promised. Very professional. Highly recommend this company!

I would never ever recommend using this company the company owner is a complete @##hole one of their trucks drove by us on the road and broke our windshield and the owner is completely unprofessional and rude about it

Mark is the best guy to do business with, he's a sweetheart. I have recommended him to many of my friends. He treats people right.

Sloppy worker, if a stud is in the way of the duct, he will mash down the duct, instead of letting the owner or GC know about to correct the issue. Terrible about getting him to come back to fix his Mess Ups.......my opinion and experience.

Older AC unit stopped working and called around to get help knowing that heat of the season busy would make it difficult to get diagnosed/repaired soon. Mark was one of the only places to call back and even when he was sick, he spent time on the phone with me and reviewed pix to diagnose the problem and provide me the part to do a simple fix. Very pleased to find a business that provides such fantastic service and will go the extra mile to help however they can!

They team did high quality work, and were professional and friendly. I was annoyed by the late night call from Mark, and over the phone he quoted me a price range and then when he arrived he quoted the highest price point in the range and then complimented me on the view from my home. Nothing says biased pricing and zip code tax like that.

needed a heat pump. Was told he had a deal on that was installed and ran 2 weeks but was too noisy for the customer. I purchased and installed it. Didn't work. Contacted him to have him look at it. took 6 weeks of being put off before he showed up. It ran after he left but did not cool. Contacted him again 2 weeks later he showed up changed the new thermostat which he said was bad. It ran two days and quit. Contacted him several more times and no action. He sold me a unit that he guaranteed worked and has not made good on it. I spent thousands of dollars on a junk unit because he gave me his word and I believed him. he is not trust worthy watch out

Mark was great! In the middle of a heatwave and all other companies telling me it would be 3+ weeks for services, Mark was at my house same day that I called him. He was professional, friendly and quick. So grateful to have my A/C fixed! Thank you Mark!!!! :)

There was a delay in completing the job due to the COVID crisis , but at the end the job was finished in a very professional manner.
Mark really knows his stuff, and because of this both the heating and cooling units work perfectly .

I highly recommend Air Control Systems. They are the best in the Portland area. Mark and his team installed our air conditioner and furnace. Install was smooth and his team was very professional and courteous. They provide prompt and skilled service for a great price. Before purchasing from Mark we met with 10+ contractors. Mark was the only one that I felt gave an honest quote for what we needed. Every time someone asks me for a recommendation I refer them to Air Control Systems because I know Mark will take care of them.

Mark and the Air Control Systems crew were great to work with for our duct cleaning! They were responsive, scheduling was simple, and they did an excellent job and were great about COVID safety protocols. We highly recommend them!

So many issues, they supplied the wrong fitting filters that were too short. They pulled them forward so I would not see this until I cleaned them again. Totally unethical and when I finally pointed it out they did not order and send the correct sizes. I bought them and was not reimbursed. The unit was leaking inside for some time inside and on the new connections outside. Mark said he would put the cooper back together but didn't . They did finally stop the leaking but I never got the cooper back which is what I wanted and was there before the new until was installed. Then when they replaced the PVC with PEX they went down in my crawlspace and cut it in the crawlspace and installed a tube and then it was draining into my crawlspace and has been for years now. I have Columbia NW here today showing me all this since they are installing my new air conditioner. I have movie clips and photos but this application wont let me upload them.

After 30 hours of no power my furnace wouldn’t work once power was restored. I called 25+ HVAC companies and Air Control was able to get to both me and my neighbor who was having the same problem. The tech was amazing and didn’t leave our houses until 8:45pm, both with working heat. Can not thank them enough for saving the day!
