Tim was the ideal repairman-courteous, resourceful in discovering the cause of problems, and implemented successful solutions. He answered all my questions and even identified problems with the appliances that I hadn't noticed. He also made sure all parts of the refrigerator were reassembled and left everything in perfect order. I highly recommend his services.

Thanks to Tim, I am sitting here drinking an ice, cold soda as I write this review! He came out on a Saturday (that's a rarity these days) to fix our garage fridge that had stopped running cold. It was a used fridge, but we really didn't want to replace it just yet. Tim quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty computer board) and fixed it right away at a fair price. He even had the correct part in his vehicle...no waiting! I highly recommend Genie Appliance Repair!

Aiden was amazing. He was running ahead of schedule so he called and asked if was okay if he came early, which was no problem. He was very nice and quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a few different solutions for consideration with no pressure. I will be using and recommending Genie Appliance Repair from now on. If you need an appliance repair, don't mess around, just call Tim. I called and was able to get a next-day appointment. He was right on time, professional, friendly, and quickly diagnosed and fixed my leaky washer drainpipe. Price was very reasonable compared to previous repair services at my home. He was even kind to my overly-friendly (annoying) cats! :)

Repairman arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed problem with dryer--part was ordered and was here in two days. He returned promptly and finished repair. Charges were reasonable and we will use Genie again. We would recommended Genie without hesitation.

My dishwasher wasn't working over the weekend. I called Sunday afternoon and got someone on the phone. I was scheduled the next morning for an inspection. Had a leak. Before leaving, he ordered the part and scheduled the return visit for Wednesday to complete the repair. Upfront with the service call fee and how much the parts will cost. No pressure sales. I would recommend them for an appliance repair.

Tim was kind enough to work with me over the phone to figure out a new washing machine would be cheaper! Isn’t that honest? He also made suggestions about choices that would fit my needs. IMPRESSIVE!

Our ice maker went out and I reached out to Genie based on reviews. Folks were right! Tim responded immediately, set up a time that worked for us, called the day of the repair to let me know he was on his way, showed up on time, worked quickly and explained the situation clearly.

Turns out the ice maker was damaged and needed a replacement part. He showed me what was wrong, gave me a price to replace it and scheduled a time to put it in.

Right on time once again, Tim was here at the house promptly. He had the new part in place.

Tim is amazing. Super polite and is easy to talk to.Tim did a great job at explaining to us what was happening and how to prevent it from happening again. He was on time and made sure we got the best price.We will %100 be calling him for all our appliance repairs.

Great experience. Our dryer was having issues with starting and with drying. Scheduled an estimate within two days of calling. Aidan called to me let me know he’s be early, he diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. He was back when the part came in and the dryer worked for a bit and then had other issues. Aidan came back and found additional issues with the motor. He apologized and made the situation right and replaced the motor. He didn’t over charge us for the additional labor. I really feel like Genie has integrity and really cares about their customers. Twenty loads later, the dryer is better than it was before it started breaking down. Genie will be the only company I’ll call for appliance repair.

Do not recommend this business. Scheming business with a steep diagnosis price of 120 for 15-20 minutes of labor. They offered a repair that would cost as much as a new machine would cost me. I objected to Tim that the diagnosis was steep and that I was uncomfortable paying it; his response was how "experienced" he is. His "experienced" opinion was absolutely worthless, as it turns out, I was able to fix my washer by simply replacing the power outlet - a 25 fix. Word to the wise, just buy a new appliance and don't waste your money on calling this business. And to the business, stop committing highway robbery in our community, giving repair folks a bad reputation.

I had Genie appliance repair out to fix a dishwasher that I attempted to fix on my own. Tim got it back online replacing a part I attempted to repair myself. The next time I did not attempt to fix my dryer, Tim came out and my clothes are now coming out dry. Thanks for all the help! I know who to call if need another appliance repair.

Clothes washer was leaking all over the floor! Tim with Genie was able to easily diagnose the issue and fix it. Very pleased with the service - fast scheduling, Tim called to confirm, was on time, made the repair quickly and pricing was competitive.

Tim was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We had our refrigerator go into demo mode and stop freezing/cooling. He recognized it and fixed it in less than five minutes but still took the time to check everything and explain what he was doing, even offering tips of things we should do as yearly maintenance. I would highly recommend him to anyone with an appliance issue!

Excellent communication, service and follow through. Tim responded quickly, arrived on time then went straight to work. He is very experienced. He quickly accessed the situation and worked through the challenge affecting our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. Initially he thought a part was not needed, but after a bit of testing leaned that he needed a door mechanism which aided in limiting ice buildup – he ordered the part and returned promptly to install – all good once again. Tim is now our go-to guy for appliance repair – prices are reasonable and service is quick and efficient.

It’s Sunday, I work for the DoD and live in Millersburg, Albany Oregon area and needed necessary items washed and dried for the week.

I troubleshooted the dryer with Tim’s Guidance, also Tim let me know he could come down and provided the service call repair and was also upfront on the fees and labor. The part I needed he had in stock, I guess what the contingency to deal with his how bad do you need a repair. I could have waited however Tim replaced the root cause of the issue on top of the bad part. So I guess, we pay in the front or you cut corners and pay in the back. Tim was respectful, kind, informative and upfront! I will call Tim again for repair if ever warranted.

Excellent service! My washing machine was leaking water. I called several companies before calling Genie Appliance Repair. The other companies were booked weeks out and more expensive. Tim had a cancelation the day I called. He came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and scheduled the return visit. Once the part came in he called to let me know and confirmed our appointment. If he could arrive early he communicated with me beforehand. I was never left hanging wondering where he was, if the part came in, etc. He was friendly, punctual and very professional.
