I fired these people three years ago. I can’t believe they’re still in business still receiving such BAD reviews.

Jesus and his colleague did a nice job for a good price.

Don't even bother calling this company. I've called several times for the regular maintenance work on our small yard and Maria and Dela keep saying that they are going to call me back, but they don't. Poor customer service ever.

I strongly advise against hiring this company to do any work for you. The people running this business are rude, uneducated juveniles.They never return calls and fail to show up when they are scheduled. Do not give them a deposit when signing the contract. They wont show up or respond to phone calls.

I would highly recommend this company. They did a great job transforming our front lawn. They had good ideas and suggestions to make the lawn beautiful. They also did a great job on a retaining wall on our side yard.

The Nice Yard team did an amazing job of transforming our property! They are very skilled, always on time, on budget and always left our property immaculate! They really exceeded our expectations!

These guys are a joke. Showed up a day late for an estimate, then I attempted to follow up several times to clear something up. No response. If they don't want the job, there's this thing called "communication". They should maybe learn that skill.

Horrible job putting posts in ground for wooden fence. One feet deep in ground then posts become loose. The person who own the house is visual impaired and they took advantage of her. The brackets for 2x4 in between posts are cheapest and weak. Never again

Terrible job building my fence! It's crooked and the planks are bowing and I've only had the fence since April and it's Aug. I called and Jessie came to look at it and told me it's just a fence it does not have to be square like a house okay but it still needs to be straight. The 4x4 are crooked all the way down the line and between each 4x4 it's suppose to be a set distance say 7 to 8 feet not my yard they are all different. One side they put the 2x4 on the wrong side of the fence, the 2x4 were facing the neighbors yard...I think it was done so I would not see how crooked they were. I had to ask for the fence to be turned around so that the 2x4 were in my yard so no one could climb on the 2x4s. I will never use them again and I'm thinking about taking them to small claims court. He wants to wait until next year to replace the warped pickets of course there's a year warranty....so after that it's my responsibility to replace them because he put the 2x4 to close to the top and says it doesn't need a 2x4 in the middle.... He is trying to not to fix my fence because I don't have a husband to argue with him. His crew took down my neighbors fence by accident wrong address I guess, then didn't say anything or leave a business card on the neighbors door I guess hoping no one would notice.

One of the most unprofessional and disrespectful landscaping co out there. I would never do business with them again. They lack professionalism and seem to never be around when you need them despite the fact that they promise to always be there when you need them. The owner of the company blamed everything on me ( the client) and even when as far as as using profanities and hanging up the phone in the middle of a conversation regarding a follow up on a project. I really do not understand how this business is still running. I recommend for new clients to really do their research before deciding upon using this company to do their projects.

Working with this company has been way more of a headache than the peace of mind promised to me by the company. I also feel i could have taken more time to do a better review of the company before allowing them into my home. They made a huge mess of the job in question and they never seem to call you back as they always promise. I'm unsure how a company like this is still in operation considering they do nothing they promise, it is very unprofessional that instead of fixing the issues or finding someway to get the job done the way you like the owner (jessie) spent a great deal of time arguing with me about the work being done wrong. The owner (jessie) in my opinion hes suppose to be professional , unfortunately the way he spoke to me forces me to think otherwise. i would not recommend him or his company to anyone i know. this has been a horrible experience to say the least. I'm just glad its over.

Project: Install Concrete Patios, Walks and Steps
First of all let me say that the actual concrete work was great. It looks very nice. I recommend this company to do concrete work. Now if your concrete works involves moving anything or detaching something from the existing concrete then I advise you to do that yourself or have someone else do it, not these folks. My job entailed removing and replacing the concrete under the supports for the aluminum roof. Instead of removing the screws/anchors from the concrete they broke the concrete away from the supports with a sledge and ending up bending the brackets. Jessie(the boss) was like "oh well they are just a little bent" and they never fixed them even after I called them back. Also give them wide berth around the work area as they will knock over stuff and then just leave it. They will also leave trash(soda bottles, etc)and some construction debris in the area even after you call them back to clean-up. The secondary problem is communications. Jess(the boss) will smile and nod while you tell him what you want but then really doesn't understand. Case in point is that they were at first going to leave the posts for the porch attached to the concrete and just remove and replace the concrete around them. This after I explained numerous times that the concrete had sunk two inches and that is why we need to replace it.. Also there were never any drawings made showing what and where so you will want to be there during the start of the project as the worker arrive and have only a vague idea of what they are supposed to do. The price was reasonable and in line with other contractors but this company could do the work on my timeline and the others could not. Bottom line for concrete work they do a nice job on the concrete but have them do just the concrete - don't let them touch anything else and move everything you don't want damaged or trampled far away from the work area and expect communications issues with Jesse, the crew and the home office.

This guy has a problem with punctuality and standing behind his word. . He won't return phone calls and evades you like the plague once he collects payment from you. Spent over $5000.00 with this guy to replace our lawns and plant arborvitaes. 5 of them died, he replaced 3 but claims the other 2 died because we didn't water them. If we didn't water them why did even replace the 3 he did? His 1 year guarantee is worthless. Customer service is non existent. Guess I don't need to say anymore, everyone on here has had an experience with his stellar workmanship! Hope if you do use him you don't have any problems after he cashes your check!

Nice people but very bad on details. They left lots of plastic, rubber, and just stuff from the work and I have a real problem getting them to cover up hole by sidewalk. Very bad at explaining what they are doing and when. They were half the price of other bids so depends on how important the little stuff is to you. Once the deposit was given I never heard from the owner again. I feel he should be making sure it was a good job.

The company was on time and worked hard. They did all that they contracted with me to do, however dont let them talk you into using their compost. It is nothing more then ground up bark chips and garbage. And i mean garbage. I picked out plastic, concrete, glass, and all sorte of different metal from the compost they brought. Its pure garbage. Still picking out garbage from it a month later.

They are dishonest and incompetent to boot. After saying they would show up to install sod, we were obliged to call them numerous times to get them to show up. Then they asked to be paid even though the work was not completed. When they finally returned to complete the work, we made an error and overpaid them and they have failed to refund the overpayment. Finally,, we discovered they damaged wires for the garden lighting during the installation and they have failed to reimburse us for that damage. They should not be in business.

We scheduled a time for someone to come give us a quote on a new fence (between 3 & 3:30), and the guy came sometime before 2:30 and left a business card in my door. I called the company and they said he’d be back out during our scheduled window, and I waited for three hours. Nobody called me back, answered any of my phone calls or voicemails, or came back. It’s been a week and I’ve still heard nothing, don’t waste your time with these guys

I was called by a nice lady and we set up an appointment for an estimate. (Mind you, I got roped into this by a website that poses a a yard maintenance place but it’s actually a front for Angi. It’s called Powell and Son) She called and said the estimator had a nail in his tire and Les Schwab couldn’t get him in for a couple of hours so could we reschedule for the next day. No. I won’t be home. She says he needs to make the rest of his appointments so could he make me his last, ‘sure, that’s fine.’ ‘5:30-6:00 okay with you?’ I said ‘yep’. A no-show and no call and then I read the reviews. They made an appt with me, yet I get bumped but the people after me don’t. I tried to accommodate but if you don’t want my money that’s fine.

Don’t even think of using this company. If you want to call it a company.
He promised sprinklers to be repaired and to cover my yard.
He dug up my yard, moved sprinklers, deleted sprinklers.
His work came up short.
After calling for two weeks, Jesus finally came out and said (that’s the best I can do)
I told him he promised me from the beginning that he would make it right.
Then he started to laugh.
Game over.
Do not trust this guy or his so called company

I have used this company to landscape 2 different homes. What really impressed me was how they listened to what I wanted and it was done beautifully. They are fast and hard working. I had one lawn done a year ago and anther done recently. Everything they did continues to look good and my yards are very healthy. After getting various bids this company was very reasonable and I definitely got my money's worth. I will continue to use them in the future.

I had Jessie come out for a quote. He was an hour early and we weren't home. He did come back at the scheduled time. He looked at our property and said someone would be in contact with us for the quote. Well after multiple attempts to get a quote and not returning our phone calls after countless excuses we have given up. We have patiently waited for almost a month to get a quote. Looking at other reviews this seems to be the trend. I'm taking it as a sign the quality of their work would be horrible too. I would avoid at all cost.

We are so very very pleased with Nice yard Landscaping Inc. Jesus was fantastic to work with. His integrity and honesty was so appreciated. We had contacted 3 other garden companies and he was the best of all of them. I highly recommend his service.
