After going through another company and having a HORRIBLE experience, I looked up a repair company and I have to say Genie Appliance Repair lived up to and exceeded their reviews. They fixed as much as they could (but at this point it is probably better to just purchase a new one) and kept me informed and really tried to fix it 100 percent. They were honest and affordable and really explained everything. I will definitely call them if I ever need any other repairs.

Called and scheduled and appointment to have my dryer looked at and gave them my address including the fact that we live in an apartment but that I own the dryer. I got a call 20 minutes before my appointment that the technician was on his way and to be expecting him. After 25 minutes I get another call from them saying that they actually don’t do repairs in apartments. Not only wasted my time but I am now looking for another repair person and am going to need to wait even longer for someone to come out. This was unbelievably unprofessional, no apology was included, and they tried to belittle me about it.

We had an excellent experience with Genie Appliance Repair. We couldn’t be happier with Tim’s customer service and punctuality. He was very professional and personable as well. We will definitely be calling Genie Appliance Repair with any other problems we have in our home.

Had our glass radiant cooktop completely fail on a frigidaire unit. I didn't really call around , but did See Genie Appliance repair and based my decision solely on the reviews I found. I can confirm with all of the reviews on this page and other places I saw, google etc. that Tim does fantastic work and in very good time. prompt response from the web form to completion of fixing our Electric range. Polite, Courteous and professional. price/cost sealed the deal. reasonable in all aspects. I will go back to Genie Repair for future repairs.

I ended up with more problems than I started with. Damaged floor and refrigerator still not working properly. Ended up not charging me, but ultimately I’m going to be out thousands on new flooring because of his carelessness. His insurance is not covering complete replacement costs. I highly do not recommend!

Tim installed an ice maker in our refrigerator for us. He arrived right on time and made quick work of the job. He is very knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably priced. I will surely call him again for any repairs I need.

Aiden showed up on time, super friendly, and fixed my dryer issue quickly. He pointed out some things to watch for with my aging dryer. I had a wonderful experience with Genie Appliance Repair today! When I called they made an appt. for the next day. He called to let me know that he was on his way and was able to come a little early if I was ready. He explained what had happened to cause the refrigerator to stop cooling, what I could do to solve the problem if it ever happened in the future, and even fixed the problem I was having with my dishwasher while he was here, at no charge. I was amazed! I not only spent so much less than I was worried it would be, but I saved money in the long run. I definitely recommend Genie Appliance Repair!

I highly recommend Genie Appliance Repair. Tim is a very knowledgeable service technician. I really appreciated how easy he was to schedule with, his affordable pricing, his common sense approach to repairs, and the quality of his work. Dealing with a locally owned and operated repair company was so much less stressful than trying to work with one of the bigger appliance repair companies out of Portland.

Tim was the ideal repairman-courteous, resourceful in discovering the cause of problems, and implemented successful solutions. He answered all my questions and even identified problems with the appliances that I hadn't noticed. He also made sure all parts of the refrigerator were reassembled and left everything in perfect order. I highly recommend his services.

Thanks to Tim, I am sitting here drinking an ice, cold soda as I write this review! He came out on a Saturday (that's a rarity these days) to fix our garage fridge that had stopped running cold. It was a used fridge, but we really didn't want to replace it just yet. Tim quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty computer board) and fixed it right away at a fair price. He even had the correct part in his vehicle...no waiting! I highly recommend Genie Appliance Repair!

If you need an appliance repair, don't mess around, just call Tim. I called and was able to get a next-day appointment. He was right on time, professional, friendly, and quickly diagnosed and fixed my leaky washer drainpipe. Price was very reasonable compared to previous repair services at my home. He was even kind to my overly-friendly (annoying) cats! :)

Repairman arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed problem with dryer--part was ordered and was here in two days. He returned promptly and finished repair. Charges were reasonable and we will use Genie again. We would recommended Genie without hesitation.

My dishwasher wasn't working over the weekend. I called Sunday afternoon and got someone on the phone. I was scheduled the next morning for an inspection. Had a leak. Before leaving, he ordered the part and scheduled the return visit for Wednesday to complete the repair. Upfront with the service call fee and how much the parts will cost. No pressure sales. I would recommend them for an appliance repair.

Tim was kind enough to work with me over the phone to figure out a new washing machine would be cheaper! Isn’t that honest? He also made suggestions about choices that would fit my needs. IMPRESSIVE!

Genie Appliance Repair / Tim are awesome!!!

Our ice maker went out and I reached out to Genie based on reviews. Folks were right! Tim responded immediately, set up a time that worked for us, called the day of the repair to let me know he was on his way, showed up on time, worked quickly and explained the situation clearly.

Turns out the ice maker was damaged and needed a replacement part. He showed me what was wrong, gave me a price to replace it and scheduled a time to put it in.

Right on time once again, Tim was here at the house promptly. He had the new part in place.

We are thrilled with Tim and Genie repair. He is our new, local business / appliance repair of choice.

Great experience. Our dryer was having issues with starting and with drying. Scheduled an estimate within two days of calling. Aidan called to me let me know he’s be early, he diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. He was back when the part came in and the dryer worked for a bit and then had other issues. Aidan came back and found additional issues with the motor. He apologized and made the situation right and replaced the motor. He didn’t over charge us for the additional labor. I really feel like Genie has integrity and really cares about their customers. Twenty loads later, the dryer is better than it was before it started breaking down. Genie will be the only company I’ll call for appliance repair.
