Dennis with Zap Electric completed three small jobs for us. He was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I have used Zap Electric for small jobs like installing new fixtures and one large remodel. I have never been disappointed.

I appreciate their willingness to take on smaller jobs when others will not. They know what they are doing and are fair with their pricing.

***Update*** Less than a month since Zap completed some small jobs, we asked them back to install new lighting in our garage, attic and to replace a bathroom fan. As with our previous experience, Zap was prompt in doing the needed work and at a fair price. Great people and great work!

Zap was awesome! From the time I submitted a request for quote online to project completion! Diego was great and very professional, hard working, and totally exceeded my expectations with cleanliness. Vaughn responded immediately to my request, answered all of my questions, and the price was great! Overall experience was amazing and I highly recommend them. They installed 5 ceiling fans, which sounds easy, but they had to do all of the electrical and cut the holes since there was no previous lighting or electrical. Exceptional customer service that is hard to find nowadays. 10 stars if I could, it was that great.

Vaughn and his crew at Zap Electric are top notch! Our 1962 home was in need of electrical upgrades, from new lights, outlets, security camera's, and fuse box repairs. Vaughn always answers my texts quickly and we have never had to wait any length of time for the work to be completed. I have referred several of my friends to Vaughn who have also been very happy with the customer service they received. I highly recommend ZAP for all of your electrical needs.

Requested service "ASAP" after 5:00 on a Friday evening. Vaughn answered the phone promptly and scheduled service for the very next day - not business day, mind you - SATURDAY. He arrived promptly, did a fine, clean job and charged far less than an arm an a leg. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Update: We've had work completed by Vaughn and crew several times at this point. Most recently, his crew installed 20 or so recessed lights, switches, dimmers, a couple of outlets, and replaced an attic vent fan. The crew worked quickly, left no mess, were careful with our 'things' and courteous throughout their visit to our home.

Will call Vaughn again in the future, and strongly encourage others so the same. Great service!

Update to the update: Vaughn's crew installed outlets in the garage and lights under the eaves, and all previously heaped praise is re-heaped. No muss, no fuss and the price remained right.

Zap electric did an amazing job on my panel exchange for my house. They got back to me right away and were able to quickly schedule me. Dennis, who completed the job, was professional, fast and super knowledgeable. My house is older and he was able to complete the job without any issues. The job came out perfect. Thank you Zap!!! I’m new to the Salem and found ZAP Electric on google after reading good reviews. I’m very happy with the service they provided. Vaughn was flexible with my hectic schedule, and was very friendly every time I had to call him to reschedule. He and Diego got all of the work done quickly and efficiently at a very reasonable rate. I’ve been working with Vaughn for over 5 years now on multiple different residential and commercial jobs. I can’t speak more highly about how this guy does business! He’s a great communicator, hard worker, and charges a reasonable fee. Zap did a dedicated 15 amp circuit at my rental for a new gas furnace in March 24.The furnace was done by Affordable. They recommended Zap. Great job by both. Thanks Vinny.This was done during some very inclement weather,and under a very tight crawl space with residual amounts of water due to heavy rain fall.

We chose Zap Electric based on excellent reviews and have been very happy with our choice! Vaughn responded quickly to our initial call and was able to visit the site and work up the bid shortly after. His bid seemed very reasonable for the tear out of old track lighting and installation of many new ceiling and wall lights, the relocation of numerous outlets, replacement of old bathroom ceiling fan, etc. His work and communication have been excellent throughout the process. His company will be our go-to for electrical projects from here on.

Zap electric has the best service and high quality work! They kept in communication with us about arrival time and went above and beyond d our expectations. Diego was our electrician and his work was flawless. He even put in some light bulbs for one of our new fixtures that we had him install. Way above and Beyond! I will continue to use Zap for all of my electrical needs.

Vaughn is a master of his craft! He figured out some tricky stuff with my old school hot tub set up. He was so easy to work with and fixed what was an ongoing struggle for us in an hours time. I am so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism! Definitely would recommend Zap Electric

I purchased a home about a year ago. The home inspector found several electrical issues that need to be fixed. I hired an electrical company to fix the problems. They assured me they had corrected everything on the list. However, they hadn't. Problems continued. So I looked for another company. ZAP was recommended. I called Vinny, he sent Diego, and all the problems were fixed. Diego was prompt, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. And they were at least 1/2 the cost the original company had charged. I have used them a couple times more for other things I wanted done. Each and every time, the work was done well, without wasting time, and at a very reasonable price. I absolutely HIGHLY recommend ZAP. Give them a call...you won't be disappointed.

Great guy who came out, he helped me solve my problem with my fan a few weeks ago ( pregnancy brain.) My only issue is I never made an apt he called me up randomly, never said who he was, all he said is that he would be at my house in 10 min. I thought he was someone else coming out to look at my yard issue. Even when he showed up I still had no clue what he was doing exactly at my house. He never mentioned his company and saw nothing on his shirt or hat that made me aware he was with Zap Electric. He fixed my fan issue which was great but no discussion of a service fee was made aware otherwise I would of been tracking the apt. But like I said I was not aware I had no apt. I paid and my fan is fixed but it has been bothering me that was unprofessional of him.

Great work, on budget! I filled out an online form with Zap 2 weeks ago. They called me within the hour to get details on the project. I needed outlets and a fan in my main bath. They broke down the estimate right there on the phone which was a HUGE time saver. They asked me to send a picture of the panel so they could get a good idea. Talk about using technology to be more efficient. I can't use a "before" picture, because there wasn't one--our mid-century rancher had none to begin with. That being said, I was very concerned with making sure the work didn't look out of place. The guy arrived ON TIME to do the work and completed it within about 3 hours. That is amazing! It looks great, works perfectly, solves my problems, was on budget...what else can I say? I'll be calling Zap for more work in the future. So friendly and easy to work with.

Called Zap Electric with unrealistic demands, but they managed to work with us to get the job done right, within budget, and on time to let us open our Ice Cream shop. Conan, was great to talk to and even took the time to educate me on the process and options we had available to us. In short Zap made us feel like we were the most important customers when working and dealing with our project. Will definitely use them again and refer friends and family to them.

I had a issue with both bathroom plugs not working. I checked all the GFCI circuits in the house and nothing. ZAP called and asked if i had a GFCI in the garage anywhere, i replied not that i know of. My girlfriend informed me that yes there was one behind a storage rack. When i checked it out there it was, so i reset that GFCI and it was connected to the bathrooms. So problem solved by a phone call from ZAP Electric. Excellent customer service and honest people. I will definitely use ZAP for all my electrical issues. I give them 5 Stars for ZAP letting me know to check that first before charging me to come out and press the GFCI button.
