I had Farnham come out and install a 240V outlet and breaker in my garage for an EV charger, and they did a great job with it! The cost was very reasonable as well.

I have never had a service call go so smooth and pleasant. The tech Tim was knowledgeable and did my repair quickly. The office staff was awesome and even managed to get my repair earlier than was scheduled. These guys Rock! Highly recommend....

Our technician did a wonderful job and worked thoroughly and quickly. We thought the price was comparable, if not better, than other electricians in the area. We hired them for a second time and so far, it's been a good experience.

They helped me fix a charger for my EV that would have been $200+ to replace. They were able to fix it the same day, and at a very reasonable price. Thank you!

Requested electrician to come in to my apartment because my breakers flip off at random with no load on them when they do it?
I guess HAYC Has a contract with Farnham electric Co to do their electrical repairs? Or are they just hire them because? Who knows?
Spent around a half hour at least, working on the breaker box,
had my power off and left my door wide open,
it was 8 AM in the morning and it was cold!
Left saying he needed to get parts and replacement breakers from his vehicle,
If he didn’t have them he was going to go get them,
Was here with an idiot maintenance man from the HAYC that I have had issues with before because he’s a lousy repairman,
Gone for at least a half hour,
Most likely both of them were on the clock and took an extended coffee break,
Finally! Came back, worked on the breaker box again around a half hour,
really wish I would’ve been watching them to see if they were doing anything all? but I was busy doing other things,
This is what was reported he did in a email to me from HAYC Director of asset management.

“Farnham electric was there to inspect the breaker box. They were unable to find any issue or hazards with the panel or the electricity. It was found to be working in good order”

There is only 13 breakers in the breaker box!
what in the world took them so long? That was the only thing THEY! worked on?
I think he was just padding the bill because he knows the HAYC won’t question the Bill,
I am an old guy living on Social Security because of health problems But! When I was younger I worked in the construction business and know quite a bit about electrical issues because I took vocational General contractor classes and worked for a general contractor,
Most likely, the breakers have flipped so many times they have gotten week and flip when there’s no heavy amperage being used,
He acted like I was an idiot!
At 63 years old I don’t appreciate someone putting their hand in my face, telling me to stop talking! And just listen!
Treated me like I was stupid?
Very demeaning, disrespectful probably because I live in low come housing,
No wonder even though they brag they’ve been around for 100 years. They only have 20 Google reviews, a few say they were overcharged,
Yelp, they only have seven! And only a 3.7 out of five star reviews.

I called Farmhand Electric to come and install a light switch plug combination. They told me they would charge $96/hour plus the cost of the plug. The electrical technician who came out was courteous and did a good job. However when I received the bill, I was charged one & three quarters hour, plus the switch/plug combination. The only problem with that is it did not even take him an hour to do the job and I provided the switch/plug combo. The bill was $198! I had to call them four times over a week and a half and leave messages with a live person as well as voicemail. Finally Ashley returned my call, at first she said the extra time was for travel but then I told her I was only 5 blocks away. So she contacted the technician only to find out they did not provide the plug and the extra time was for writing a description of the work that was done. After all of that they credited me $50 still over charging me by a half hour.

We needed new lighting in our office and Farnham Electric helped us choose the right lighting options for the lowest cost and we upgraded to LED lighting. Very happy with the service!

Yesterday had a light fixture installed. What I thought would be a 2 hr. job turned out to be a 20min install thanks to Dillion (the pleasant and knowledgable installer) and I love the new light/! Yep ..149 dollar payment for first hour is a tad steep for the/my senior pocketbook, but Dillion was kind enough to ask if there was anything else he could help with for the remaining hour's payment. Unfortunately, had no other job for him, but will use Farnham and will ask for Dillion again when needed. Thank u!

$195 bill for ten minutes of work. Very unprofessional as far as billing and customer service. I was given no estimate of time or cost. The technician was great at his job. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it in ten. He had to move a single wire on the outlet from "load" to "line." That was it. Ten minutes. The technician also refused to tell me what the cost would be for the work. When I called, the woman I spoke with told me that "the computer" had somehow mysteriously overcharged me for 1.5 hours of labor instead of 1 hour. Oops. They charge a minimum of 1 hour for any service (although there is no mention of this on their website and they certainly don't tell you this up front when you call.) Bottom line: I am still being billed $135 for ten minutes of work and no parts.

We’ve used Farnham for several projects in a whole house remodel. They’re consistently reliable, outstanding communication, clean work & have moved schedules around to keep within our timeline. Fair prices as well! As a GC, I highly recommend

I recently used Farnham for a couple of different projects, both for a remodel and a couple of smaller jobs. Each time they have shown up on time as promised, done very good work, and their prices were very good. Highly recommend this company to anyone who cares to ask!

They were able to be professional and give a competitive price in the middle of a real estate transaction. They also were very responsive and would always pick up the phone. I’d definitely use them again.

Simpson is very dependable. They let you know when they’re heading to your house (within the time frame) and promptly get to work. They get the job done quickly and efficiently and then are on their way. Their rates seem reasonable.

Service man is amazing was very punctual very friendly and very honest. When you call to set up an appointment you were greeted with friendliness and really good communication. Really fair prices up front honest about their price. Would highly recommend using them they are worth the phone call.
