Great service great response time on major issues.
-
My go to company for repairs. Support staff and technicians best in town.
-
Worst service ever and overbilled. Total rip-off. Top tip: avoid.

Was crossing the street in Salem today and their truck didn't even slow down while I was halfway across the street. I would never hire them for a job.
-
Less than a year ago I reached out to this company for a quote and no one responded to my request; not by email or phone.

Excellent service company! They do it all! Plumbing, HVAC, Sheet Metal, Refrigeration and Kitchen work! Staff and technicians are friendly and professional as well!
-
I encountered one of your drivers on the road. Needless to say I am not impressed and this company will never get my business.

Very poor customer service!!!! One of Portland mechanical employees ran a stop sign and hit me and I had my children with me. It's been over a month and still nothing!!! I call and it's always the run around. I would give a zero but you can't on this.

They came out to my loft in Gregory to fix my air conditioning and failed to do so despite paying well over $400. They required me to pay for another service call to see what they missed so I had to hire another company to look at the problem.

Their employees drive dangerously in their company rigs. Weaving in & out of stop & go traffic, cutting off loaded trucks, forced multiple rigs onto the shoulder. Near West Linn on 205 on 7/6/22.

A awesome Sheet Metal job. That is what PMC Will Deliver to its Customers Working from its 80,000 square foot in-house fabrication shop, there #SMAW, #GMAW, and #GTAW #certifiedwelders build each of the projects to meet #SMACNA standards! I for sure will call them again. Great to see it part of the JH Kelly Family going back 100 Years.

This company has hired truck drivers who can’t drive safely - they nearly crashed into me . They drive without regard for other’s safety or traffic laws. Using your vehicle as a weapon is illegal
-
On my way to work I watched a PMC company truck blow two red lights, two crosswalks with people waiting, and fly down MLK going 40-45. If their work demonstrates the same care and respect for the law as their driving, I wouldn’t touch these guys if they were the last contractor in town.

This is the third time we have had Tim do work for us. He is very reliable & pleasant. We will definitely ask for Tim again the next time we need plumbing work to be done.

Came in our home without a mask. I tild him I just had surgery and he didn't care. Was super load and constantly spoke over us when we tried to explain anything. Very erragant. Needs to be a lot more professional.
-
Solid contractor that was able to perform emergency work immediately while other contractors had a 2-3 week lead time. They meet a tight timeline which resulted in a happy client and future opportunity.
-
Joe (White?) their technician, did a great job of clearing a main roof drain of our 5-story condo building today, going over 30 ft underground with the camera, and then jetting it clear. Very very pleased with his work.

I called Portland Mechanical Contractors. I told them that they would need two people and two ladders for saftey. They said they would be at the store at 8:00 am and call before they got there. They told me it would be 60.00 one time travel fee and $122.50 an hr for two guys. Any other trips would be free since It is no longer an estimate but a work order.
They called at 7:58 telling me 8:30, There was only one person, so I helped him set up ladders Rope and get the tools up on the roof, took 5 Minutes. We found the problem quickly. We were off the roof by 8:55 am less than ½ hour. He was going to find out if they had a (Draft Motor)in stock . I texted him at 9:15am,to tell him I wanted a quote first. I was a bit surprised he was still outside at 9:45. He said he was still on hold to see if they had the part. He was frustrated he was on hold. So he left to Oregon city to see if they had the part, because he would have to pick it up anyhow.
I could buy the part for $202.00 (online)I knew this because I helped him on the unit. Well, He texted me at 10:48 to tell me it was 382.86. I thought cool $202.00(Parts), $60.00(travel), and 122.50 for labor. (really only 30 minutes and one person) 382.50 was just about right according to my calculations. So I called him right back to say cool go with it. But he told me 382.50 for parts and 3 hours of labor and still adding up. First of all it was only 10:55am I pointed that out to him. He got to my place at 8:30am. I asked how he justified the price for the part, I’m sure he gets wholesale prices. Plus I’m sure it would have been another 1 hour to install and He was an hour out and charging for drive time. He said his time started when he called me at 7:58. What the hell was the 60.00 travel for? I’m suppose to pay for him being on “hold” (45 min) with his own company and venders and his drive time to pick it up and deliver it at 122.50 an hour. I could have had the part delivered here next day delivery for 245.00. No hold time, no drive time, what a waste of time.
