"We recently hired Apex Tree Service, LLC to clear and clean up a 12.5 acre residential property, and they exceeded our expectations in every way! The land was a massive undertaking, completely overgrown with dense blackberries, Hawthornes, scotch broom and tangled debris amongst areas of meadow grasses, but their crew worked incredibly hard to get it all under control.

They did an outstanding job clearing the neglected trees and overgrown brush, carefully clearing the land, and hauling away all the accumulated debris. The communication was phenomenal from start to finish—the owner, Kyle, was professional, listened to exactly what we wanted, educated and guided us through the process, and always kept us in the loop. We asked for him to make decisions on trees as if it were his own yard. We are thrilled with the end result.

Great folks to work with, very knowledgeable and transparent. Could have gotten into me for treating trees that were to far gone but educated me instead. Not the least expensive but competitive. Integrity and great attitude are worth paying for.

We had a LARGE cedar limb fall on our shop. Jason came out immediately and provided their estimate. We ended up having them remove two cedar trees and grind the stumps. We are having them evaluate a huge black walnut and grind additional stumps in the fall. Fair pricing and hard working! Thank you!

Kyle and his team at Apex earned five stars for the work they did on our property. He went above and beyond to meet our expectations and to make it as cost efficient as possible. They cleared around 25 large fir trees off our property including 11 that were really close to our house. He organized getting the lumber sold to the local mill. They were professional, communicated well, and delivered outstanding work. They will always be my first call for tree work. I couldn't recommend them enough. Apex Tree Service did an excellent job trimming two aspens, and removing two small volunteer trees from my mother’s back yard. Jason was professional and courteous, listened to our needs and provided a clear and fair quote. During the January 2024 ice storm in Portland, our giant red oak fell across a major street, crushed 3 cars and damaged 2 houses, leaving a street full of wood and a 10' diameter root ball for us to deal with. I called 20+ arborists and tree movers, and nobody was willing to remove the root ball or move the salvageable logs intact due to size/weight and the difficult-to-access location of the stump.

Kyle at Apex was the only one I spoke to who immediately started trying to solve the issue. He helped me deal with insurance, planned out the entire job with only a few day's notice, and was able to get a 12 ton crane to lift out the root ball in one piece, saving a huge amount of time and cleanup. Kyle also helped us salvage as much usable wood as possible, separating lumber and firewood rounds. He coordinated with a local sawmill of my choice and helped us transport several beautiful logs weighing over 10,000 lbs each.

Kyle's crew was incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us, and I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Kyle again about any big tree-related jobs.

Excellent Customer Service! I had several 50+ year old Oak and Maple trees that were badly damaged by a storm. Kyle's crew came out and and did an excellent job pruning and trimming the trees and cleaned up all the debris when they finished. The trees look great and I couldn't be happier. Very Professional

This was an absolute disaster from start to finish. They installed a sprinkler zone that barely sprayed two feet right after installation because they clearly have no understanding of basic irrigation hydraulics and somehow thought it was acceptable to cram 18 heads onto a single zone. It was completely non functional from day one.

When I brought it to their attention, they refused to come back out or take any responsibility, which says everything about their professionalism and integrity. To make matters worse, they also shorted me on plant sizes compared to what was specified, so I paid for something I did not receive.

Between the poor workmanship, lack of basic competence, and unwillingness to stand behind their work, this was one of the worst experiences I have had with any contractor. Avoid this company.

We chose Andres Landscape to install our irrigation system over 4 other company estimates. The deciding factor, in particular, was project manager, Garrett. His professionalism and outstanding communication by answering all questions promptly with great clarity far exceeding the others made the difference! The crew, including Jose and Gary were also a pleasure to work with - and the project was done with great precision. From start to finish, it was a great experience - we highly recommend them!
