These guys were absolutely amazing. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat!

We had been saving for a solar system for a while but I had a bad stretch of luck construction and remodeling companies and had become hesitant to commit to such a big investment. It didn't help that I had spoken to pretty much every other solar company and felt either overwhelmed, like they were trying to up sale me on things I didn't really need to have done, or that they weren't honest. For instance another company broke one of my new gutters (It tore when their ladder fell off my roof with them on it! Insanity) and they didn't tell me and still wanted a couple hundred to put together a quote? I was really burned out!

Then I found these guys and everything was suddenly great. They did a beautiful job! It was a less expensive than another company I was thinking about, they explained and coordinated things so well, the whole process was incredibly smooth, and I could tell they were happy to save me money where they could while also figuring out what was the best for my needs. Their electrician is amazing, he made everything look so nice. They worked quick but thoughtfully.

We did a full solar array on our roof and a few backup batteries. I didn't know how well they would work so I didn't want to spend more money on a full set. Then we had a power outage just 2 days later and our house kept running smoothly while everyone else was without power or had to have their loud generators on 24/7. The system worked so much better than I could have expected. They also explained it really well so we knew exactly what we could do to save on power if we had needed to without feeling like we were fumbling through a new system.

We were so happy with how it went that I called them back and asked if they'd come install more batteries. Our electric bill is almost nothing now and we get a lot of power outages (trees) and we can keep working and living life as normal and don't even notice.

I don't even know how many solar companies I spoke with and, by far, I'd say to choose these guys.

We had been thinking about solar for a number of years, and finally decided to get serious about it. We sent out 4 requests for quotes to different companies, with Energy Solutions being one of them. We didn’t know very much about solar, other than we had a bunch of roof real-estate that seemed to get decent sun exposure.

Our first contact was with Zach at Energy Solutions. Scheduling was easy, and he spent the time needed to take a look at everything. From our two 200-amp panels, to our attic, our generator, and taking exposure readings across our roof. He took his time, explained everything, listened to what we were trying to do, and wrapped up. I didn’t know it then, but Zach’s visit set the bar really high.

The other 3 vendors were much larger companies with various product offerings and solutions. Some had the same hardware Energy Solutions offered (Enphase, REC, etc.). The first contacts and meetups were really more sales calls. These companies were trying to tell us what we wanted, and didn’t listen to what we were really asking for.

Then the quotes came in. We have a 19.68kW system with storage that Energy Solutions installed. We were trying to maximize our generation capacity. The next largest system a company quote was 13kW, and that involved adding panels to our one out building requiring directional drilling to our main house (that we did not want at all). Per-panel/microinverter cost breakdown, Energy Solutions was still far and above less expensive.

The install was great. The team installed everything from our 4 batteries to all the new gear and panels where it was obvious they take pride in their work. We had a tiny oopsie that resulted in a small crack in the ceiling of our living room, but Grant had it taken care of quickly and painlessly. Things happen, and the difference between a good company and a great company is how they make it right. Energy Solutions is a great company.

I can’t recommend them enough. We’re really happy with our system, but especially happy with the company with how we were taken care of.

We couldn't be happier with our Solar installation by Energy Solutions. From the first contact with Zach to the finish it went well. Zach was very thorough in his initial evaluation giving us confidence in the quote for the project. The permitting, coordination with the county was handled by the team. Scheduling the work was easy and prompt. Shawn, Shane and the rest of the team were efficient and easy to work with. Everyone was very customer oriented and anxious to see that we were pleased. The installation took 2 days. The county inspectors were very complimentary about the company and their excellent work. We would highly recommend Energy Solutions

Wow, what a great experience! Team members are incredibly responsive, and they follow-through as promised. Energy Solutions removed a previous solar installation, and because they were so thoughtful and communicative, I ultimately had another 6KW installed. The entire system, old and new, worked perfectly before the team left after a single day installation. I had a one-on-one system orientation on how to use the Enphase app (wow, so much better than Solar Edge it's hard to describe), followed up quickly with closing emails to finalize the project. I'm just about as happy as I could be with Energy Solutions

The entire team at Energy Solutions was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Knowledgable, and no hard sell. We had two other bids but Energy Solutions made the best overall impression and got our business.

They did a a very thorough and professional initial visit, followed up with great communication throughout the process including explaining the quote, negotiating the contract, installation of the solar system and a new electrical panel, and scheduling inspections.

Four trucks and six workers on installation day for the exterior work on the second story roof was done in one day. A new electrical panel with space for more breakers was installed the following day to minimize disruption. On both days the on-site team was efficient and a pleasure to have at and in our home.

after another call, estimator arrived. he seemed very knowledgeable and walked me through the process of the work i needed done. patient and answered all my questions thoroughly

about a week later I still didn't have the quote
I called another electrician and had their quote within the same day
so I called again. I was told it was next in queue and I should have it near the end of the following week if it was delayed beyond that the he would call.

A week later I called another electrician and got another quote within a day and still no quote from MD electric

We had an upgrade done to our electrical panel by MD electrical services. They did an excellent job quick and efficient. They were very professional and considerate. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

CLACKAMAS ELECTRIC IS AWESOME !!!!!! They came out said it would be 8am 3 pm while they replaced my electric panel, the young man who mitch had out was so professional and efficient it blew my mind. He was done at 1pm everything was neat and clean . Definitely going to get more business from me.

Would not use them based on the fact of the road rage with a Van on 205 south bound today I would absolutely never call them !!! Driver almost ran me off the road to only get one can length in front of me!!! With it raining like it is that is absolutely ridiculous driving for some in a company vehicle!!!!

I had a small electrical issue on a project in Beaverton. Grayson was out within 2 hours of calling and made the fix in no time. I was kept in the loop about arrival times and the completion of work the whole time. I highly recommend Clackamas electric and Grayson. I will be using them again in the future.

Gavin did the work, arrived on time, was terrific to work with. Solved our problem and explained in detail his recommendation for fixing our "tripping" problem. Fee was reasonable and the price was reveal up front before the worker arrived. This worked out far better than our last electrician experience. In fact the fixed a problem caused by the last provider who failed to provide a service up to code! Thank you for coming on the same day, since our refrigerator wasn't working!

I received a recommendation for Clackamas electric to help install a chandelier in a hard to reach location at my house. When Mitch came to look at it, he told me that it wouldn't be an issue installing this chandelier I had chosen after many other electric companies told me there was no way to do it. Mitch was super responsive and was able to get a crew scheduled 3 days after he came out to look at the installation requirements. James and Trevor showed up promptly and were able to get a ladder up and install the light without a hitch. They were super professional and great to work with and within my budget. I would recommend Clackamas electric for any electric work you need in the future.
