General Contractor reviews in Oregon City, Oregon

My husband and I are thrilled with the work that Redland Construction did on our home! They took out part of our counter and installed a new stovetop and oven for us. They were efficient and our kitchen looks absolutely flawless.

I came across Redland Construction while searching for a contractor to do some repairs on my home. Initially, I was impressed to see a local company with two young entrepreneurs just starting out and decided to give them a try. I called and scheduled an appointment with one of the owners for an on- site estimate. The day came and he did not show up or even call to cancel. Thinking he may have had an emergency; I called and left a message to re-schedule…No return call! I would not consider using them in the future.

Good to work with on three construction projects. Only issue is communication with the Boss and his workers as to what to do and when. I would highly recommend them . They stand behind there work if any issues come up after the work is done.

In the spring of 2024 we hired Redland Construction for the first time to replace our wood decking with composite, replace the railing, add stairs and add a roof over the new deck. The whole process from the initial consultation, to the quote and approval to start date was communicated very well and completed in a very timely manner. We hired them again in 2025 to replace our front porch railing. Luke, Josh and their crew are outstanding! Luke was very transparent, addressed any concerns and gave sound suggestions throughout the project. We highly recommend Redland Construction.

Their crew always on time, professional and do great work. Our home looks fantastic.

I was so delighted with Oak Rock's interior painters. They were fast, friendly, meticulous and professional. They left me with a home I wanted to leave but now am proud to own!

Oak Rock Construction does excellent work and sticks to their word. Martin is really pleasant to work with.Definitely recommend.

Martin and his team recently finished replacing our roof and installing skylights in our attic conversion space, and they were so great to work with! They persisted in rain, wind, and snow! Their dedication to completing our project in a timely manner was very impressive and the finished product looks amazing. We will definitely consider them for future projects.

We enjoyed working with Oak Rock Construction when they rebuilt the railing for our deck. They took the time to design a railing that will be much more sturdy and durable than our old one. Once they started building the railing, they completed the carpentry in just a few days. I would recommend Oak Rock Construction for their strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Oak Rock Construction did an amazing job with our full kitchen remodel. Martin and his entire crew were very professional and paid great attention to detail. So pleased with their communication and high-quality work. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will definitely hire Oak Rock Construction again for our next remodeling project.

Working with Martin and Javier of Oak Rock Construction on a fifty-year overdue remodel was like having the best of both collaborators and experts on the project! Not only is their work being admired by friends and neighbors, but the other contractors at the site have all been deeply impressed by their expertise, creativity, and the quality of the finished product. Communications were clear and consistent, schedules were respected as was the space - particularly important since I was living in the house. As with most old houses, this one had it's quirks. Not only did they take these things in stride, but always managed to find a solution far better than the original plan. As someone who's remodeled several homes, Oak Rock provided the partnership I sought and made what was a difficult project absolutely delightful. I am greatly looking forward to working with them again.

Martin and his crew recently finished kitting us out with new roof, gutters and exterior paint on our 1920 home in Oregon City and they absolutely hit a home run. The entire team was responsive and professional and they didn't stop until everything was just right. I highly recommend Oak Rock Construction for your next home improvement project.

This is the second home Martin and his team have painted for me, and once again, they exceeded expectations. The team is professional, courteous, and consistently goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Oak Rock Construction for all your home painting and remodeling needs!

Martin and Javier at Oak Rock Construction war absolutely wonderful to work with. They did a major remodel for us, and the solutions they came up with, and the craftsmanship of their work was always excellent. They arrived when they said they would, they kept to budget, and they were very considerate of all our neighbors. We will definitely work with them again. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Very good price for both new roof and exterior paint job. They did an excellent job while keeping the communication ongoing with status and updates regarding both jobs. I’m very happy and extremely satisfied with the finished project(s). Would highly recommend to others who may be looking for a contractor for roof and exterior painting.

Martin and his team at Oak Rock Construction are dedicated to the craft of exterior painting and construction. I first contracted with Martin 10 years ago to paint our house and was very grateful that he was still available. He is just as committed as he was 10 years ago. I told Martin that I would be calling in another 10 years. I’m happy that Martin’s crew is coming back for a different assignment shortly. The product is excellent and the attention to detail is fantastic. But my favorite part was listening to his crew. They would talk, laugh, and whistle when they work. It really made us smile and that, on its own, has great value.

Oak Rock Construction gave us a wonderful experience with our master bathroom remodel. They were not only professional and responsive, but also extremly detailed and perfectionistic in ever step toward completion. They also have an experienced and honed eye for aesthetics. Our bathroom turned out even better than we ever imagined. They were also very neat and organized, cleaning up after each day's work so you would never have guessed upon entering our house that we were going through a major remodel. I would definitely recommend them and will be continuing to use them for future remodels.
