Lo's did an excellent job with our house project. They came recommended from a friend, and when we reached out to them the owner Amadou was prompt in his response and super friendly. He had someone head to our house on the same day to scope out the project and quickly delivered a bid that was reasonable and detailed.

The work got done on time and was well-executed. Marlon was friendly and did an awesome job.

I'd hire them again without question.

Amadou is the best contractor I have ever worked with.

Back many years ago, when I was selling a house, I had an issue in the garage that needed to be fixed. We had many people come and give bids, and they flaked or wanted to charge insane amounts of money, or were going to do a quick and dirty job for a lot of money that wouldn’t stand up for the new owners. Amadou came up with an elegant, long lasting and simple solution. We were on a time crunch, and he figured out how to keep the job on time despite some inclement weather. He charged us less than anyone else was quoting, for quality work.

So when my mom had a leak start in her basement from the upstairs bathroom, I knew I could call Amadou and trust his work. There were some tiles where water was leaking from the shower, and he replaced just the impacted tiles and matched them fairly closely to the rest of the shower. He kept the cost incredibly reasonable, and he did the work rapidly. My mom was so happy, and I was able to manage it from away because Amadou is so trustworthy. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to call him up and know he’s doing the best work and that he follows what he says he will do. I wish all contractors could be like Amadou, he is a gem!!!

Amadou and his crew were great - they did a wonderful job and they left the work site clean and tidy. Amadou was such a pleasure to work with. He was professional and truly seemed to take great pride in his work We would highly recommend them and will use them for any future projects.

Lo's did a wonderful job on our recent home repairs and remodeling work. Amadou and his crew were a pleasure to work with-- friendly, considerate, on time, fast. Amadou takes time to talk with you about the job to make you feel comfortable about the plans. The work was better than we could have ever imagined, and we had such a positive experience that we decided to re-hire them immediately to paint the exterior of our house.

Amadou is amazing! He Painted my house last spring and I found out he does general contracting work as well. He does an incredible job and is very professional, responsive and kind. And he always cleans up after he is done working and it looks like he wasn’t even there. It’s wonderful to know that I have someone I can call if I need something fixed and I know I can trust him to do a great job for a fair price. I highly recommend Lo’s Contracting!

I recently hired Lo's Contracting to (re)paint the outside of my house, including the shutters, window trim, and garage doors. Lo's had painted my house 14 years ago and the paint was still in pretty good shape (!!) but was starting to peel in places and had developed cracks between the cedar boards.

As usual, Lo's Contracting did a fantastic job (special shout-out to Eliceo and his crew), performing above and beyond expectations. They dismantled my shutters and painted beneath them, power washed and painted difficult to reach places (e.g., behind large bushes) and were meticulous about the trim work. They even discovered (and promptly fixed) significant dry rot beneath the roof overhang, where a shingle had gone missing.

Needless to say they were also on-time, professional, friendly, and made sure I was perfectly satisfied with the results of their work.

I have used Lo's Contracting for many projects over the last 15 years. I can't recommend them enough.

Lo's Contracting did an Excellent Job. This was a very small job, We had 4 other Contractors pass on us. Lo's took it and did professional work. Lo's allowed me to purchase my own door and even picked it up for me at the hardware store. No extra charge. He also allowed me to do my own painting.
All his workers placed down coverings and removed their shoes when entering the house. Thanks for the wonderful job you did!!!! We definitely will refer and use Lo's again.

Lo’s did excellent work. Their customer service is great. I got 4 bids for the work I had done: some siding replacement and painting the exterior of my house. Lo’s was not the lowest bid but competitive. I chose them because they were the one company to keep in close touch with me through the process. I found Amadou ready to fine tune the contract once I decided to accept their bid. The work itself was careful. They do not cut corners or skip steps or use cheap materials. There was an unexpected problem with some siding around an exterior fireplace that Pablo solved. They kept to the schedule we worked out and completed the work on time. Several of my neighbors observed parts of the ongoing work and told me how impressed they were with the quality of the work being done. I intend to hire them again as I need other repairs etc in the future. I am very pleased with the results--my house looks great.

I first hired (Amadou) Lo’s Contracting (2021) because I saw his crew doing a great job on a neighbor’s home, and he also did a great job for us doing house painting, garage door replacement and dry rot repair, this second time I hired them (2024), they did a fantastic job for us ! The enclosed our back porch to make a beautiful, insulated sunroom, a small deck and a wheelchair ramp. As an added bonus they extended our upper deck to cover the small deck. My flight back from overseas was canceled and rebooked for the following day. As a result, I was unable to contact Amadou to reschedule our initial appointment for an estimate. Despite this, he came to my house anyway, carefully examined the water-damaged pillars, and provided a fair estimate.
Amadou always communicates in a timely manner and is very patient in explaining and showing me how to do certain things unrelated to the job.
His crew members, Alberto and Lino, were very polite, arrived on time, did an outstanding job, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each day. I've never had any crew do such a great cleaning job.

Amadou was an amazing gentleman and his company had incredible people. We had a job that required multiple disciplines (drywall, hardwood, painting) and they did an incredible job. If you have a highly complex home job, especially if it deals with water restoration, Amadou and company have the skill set and integrity to do it! I would recommend them if you have a special home project in need.

We were very fortunate to have Amadou Lo and Lo’s Contracting recommended to us when we purchased our “new” home. Amadou was always responsive and managed our project extremely efficiently, especially important to us since we had a deadline for furniture delivery. From repairing holes in walls due to electrical work and adding a bedroom closet to painting ceilings with intricate woodwork and walls, he and his crews did beautiful and skillful work. We had a great experience with Lo's Contracting installing two skylights with us. Amadou was communicative and prompt, and everyone involved with each step seemed trustworthy, hard working, and detail oriented. Would hire again for sure!

We discovered some dry rot in an exterior window sill about a year ago and have been trying to get a contractor to come over, assess the extent of the damage and give us a bid on a repair. I don’t know what the situation is for general contractors in the Portland area but we couldn’t get a response from anyone we called. Finally we contacted Lo’s Contracting and bingo! The gentleman I spoke to, Amadou, was extremely helpful and had his carpenter, Gabriel, out to our place within a couple of days. He looked at the damage, took pictures and before we knew it we had a bid and a date to start the work. Everything turned out great. I’d hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

Lo's was extremely professional and responsive to our needs and questions. We had a bathroom painted, and it came out beautifully.

They were a great team, they did an amazing job, they were on time and excellent at all they did, and on top of all that, it was the most affordable quote I received.
