I absolutely love this place. Have been spending my money here for years because I have a plant addiction! Great selection of plants and great prices. I always check the discounted plants first because I am just a cheapskate but I always buy regular plants too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tony's is a great resource with a large inventory!!! Not sure why I never discovered this nursery before, but now I know... decent prices and great selection!!! I have 5 acres and am always planting large and small trees and shrubs and everything in between!!! Will definitely be back!!! Love it 🌞🌺🤙

I had been looking for another Thornless Boysenberry plant for a while. Went to another well known nursery in the area and they did not have any. Decided to stop and ask, and not only did they have some, they had several. Ended up buying an Ever Bearing Raspberry as well!
Tony's has a wonderful selection of hanging pots too... And an amazing choice of tomato plants...I am pretty sure, if you want it, they know about it and they have at least one.
They have an awesome selection of succulents and houseplants, too.
We always stop at least once a spring/summer season, and often times it's more often.
Tony's is a great place to shop. The plants are beautiful and the service is exceptional!

WOW! This place is like Disneyland for gardens! The grounds are vast and have stunning flowers, plants and trees, plus loads of garden supplies. How have I never been here?? I was buying several trees for my home and thought I'd have to go to Timbuktu to get trees of any size, (and pay a small fortune), but Tony's has a huge variety right here in Portland, and I spents hundreds less than I was expecting! I went on a busy Spring Saturday but pulled right into a parking space and was immediately served by several friendly, helpful young people and one of the owners, too! Was in and out of there in about thirty minutes! I'm also pleased to know this is a true family-owned business so I can buy and support locally. Can't wait to come back to get plants and flowers for my garden!!

I can't believe that after 20 years of living in the Portland Metro area this was my first time visiting Tony's Garden Center. If you are looking for healthy affordable plants this is the place to go. They also have an amazing selection of potting materials and planters. I purchased some air plants and received some wonderful advice from a gentleman who was tending to and watering plants. I also purchased a lovely Jasmine plant and within a week of having it at home it has blossomed several beautiful and fragrant flowers. I love this place and will definitely be coming back for my future foliage needs. 😍🪴🌱💮🌼🌻🏵️🌸🌺🌷🥀🌹

This was our first visit to Tony's. What a gem of East Portland. The nursery is stocked full of wonderful plants, many varieties, and helpful staff. Parking is a little tight on a busy afternoon, but well worth the effort to visit such a great nursery. Will be back for some more plants to brighten our garden.

I visited looking for indoor plant pots and found a really nice selection, with a range of reasonable prices. The checkout people were friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to come back by to see the plant selection.

This place is awesome! Anna banana helped us and she was so great! She answered all our questions and we never felt rushed. She suggested a few plants that would fit our needs and went above and beyond the call of customer service. They have a HUGE selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. Everyone there was knowledgeable even the kids 🥰. I will most definitely be going back and doing business with them!

Excellent selection and very helpful staff, even though the place was hopping and the checkout line was long. Got my 3 hanging baskets, and the 3rd one was free!

Love Tony's for all my garden and houseplant needs

I would love a bigger native plant section and variety of cacti, especially smaller cacti. We went in looking for both and the sections were very small. We did, however, find the flowers we were looking for and many ferns.

Very clean, many beautiful maple trees, nice people.

This place is incredible. The selection is great - lots of options for tomato starts, and many varietals of kale, herbs, and squashes I haven't found at other stores. Of course, flowers, shrubs and trees to choose from as well but it's too much for one trip - we'll be back! The staff were friendly and helpful so all in a great experience..

I called with a few questions and they were so friendly I made the trip out. I found everything I needed and there was more I wanted. Will definitely be back!

Used to love coming here. Not so much anymore. Workers used to have knowledge about plants. Not so much anymore. Or maybe they just don't want to bother with questions and help. No matter... going to Portland Nursery from now on.

Also... I bought a bunch of million bells in June that ended up covered with aphids. Then I got a gift card at the end of July. I decided to replace these aphid covered plants as it seems nothing will stop the bugs and the insecticidal spray ends up wilting the blooms and plants. I could not get a recommendation for what to replace these plants. I came here at 9am on Friday. There was not a bunch of customers. Still... I did not get much help when asking about this problem.

Always a good experience here. Good diverse collection of vegetable starts to choose from. The people there are very friendly, and helpful.

This nursery has a huge selection. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The recent parking expansion has been so helpful. I highly recommend Tony’s Garden Center.

Awesome place. You can find all kinds of variations of plants both for inside and outside plants for you garden. Love this place.
