I recently had a Very Large unhealthy deodar cedar removed from my back yard by the Mr. Tree crew - Job was difficult because of tight quarters and there was a very large branch which had broken off in high wind resting on some lower limbs - I had had five companies in all estimate the job - three of them backed out after visiting the site (saying it was more than they could handle) - the other firm estimated the job so high i don't think they really wanted the job - In addition there was a power line that had to be dealt with - Mr. Tree coordinated the disconnection with PGE and later the reconnection - Mr. Tree did the job quickly and efficiently and cleaned up so well there was absolutely no debris laying around afterward - they came back a couple days later and ground up the stump as requested - when the bill arrived it was exactly what they estimated it would be - what more can you ask for? - on my recommendation they recently did some work for a neighbor - I would recommend them again without hesitation -

The team of men that came to our house to cut our very tall trees were awesome. They were very professional and extremely quick. They went way beyond and above our expectations. We will have them back to do a few more next year. The Archers

I had 2 trees with in a foot of the foundation of our home and they were safely removed for a great price. There was another tree that was dead they took care of and they were done in about 2 hours. Very happy with the results.

Didn't do work that was promised on estimate. Didn't verify job was done with us. When we were called to be notified they'd be over the next day, the woman on the phone was gruff and didn't introduce herself. It took us two weeks to realize that any work at all had been done on the tree, that's how little was done. Now they've been harassing us for $500 that would have been paid gladly if the work had actually been done, to the point of literally threatening my husband. Ludicrous. I'll be filing a complaint with the licensing board.

I normally don't do reviews but Mr Tree and crew was awesome. Took down a dangerous tree in a safely, professional, and timely fashion. Cut the wood exactly how we wanted it. The cleanup look better than what it did before they started working. I would recommend Mr. Tree to family and friends as my number one tree service!!! Thank you again Mr. Tree. I look forward to doing business with them in the future. :)

05/07/19 Mr Tree came out & completed an estimate to trim back our neighbors trees that hang in our yard. The guy that came out, I think Bob, was great. We talked about what we wanted done, he wrote up an estimate & said $1200.00. We asked about a Saturday appointment, Bob said he didn’t know if we could get a Saturday. After he left I realized he didn’t write in $1200.00 on the paper, I called him & he said it would be on his copy.
06/04/19 Emailed Mr Tree & said we were ready to get the job scheduled.
06/05/19 Andrea replied by email & said to sign the quote & send it in.
06/14/19 I finally got the quote signed & sent in and let them know we would like it schedule about 4 weeks out as one of us would need to be home. I followed the fax up with a call, spoke with Andrea who asked who wrote $1200.00 on my estimate. I told her I did as Bob forgot & he said it would be on his copy therefore I wrote it on my copy. She said she would need to check with Josh to make sure it was OK & he’ll give us a call, I said ok.
06/24/19 Emailed Mr Tree as we haven’t heard from anyone.
Called Mr Tree, they said someone would be calling to set up appointment.
(don’t recall the date) Wilbur called, set up appointment for Saturday, 07/13/19 at 8am. We were happy to get a Saturday appointment. Yay!
07/13/19 Kyle called at 8:30am (day of job) to say they had emergency job and would be here by 1pm. About 1:25pm a crew of guys came. Wilbur, the supervisor said they don’t know anything about needing a stump grinder, I told him it’s a part of the estimate, he said he’ll talk with the office as a locate has to be done first. Confirmed the work we wanted done, let his guys know, then left.
07/16/19 locate people came & marked things out
07/19/19 emailed Mr Tree and let them know the crew that was here did a great job & were careful . Let them know we had to move storage cabinets & cars outside to accommodate for the stump grinder coming thru the garage but the crew didn’t know anything about it. Also let them know the locate people were here 07/16/19 so we would like to get the stump grinder scheduled along with having the bigger branches on the maple tree trimmed back as they mostly got the small branches with an extension pole trimmer.
Later that afternoon, called Mr Tree, talked with Shawna who said they have us on stump grind list & will talk to crew about trimming maple tree branches.
07/22/19 (I think) 8:00am Mr Tree (Roy) showed up, unscheduled, waking my daughter who works nights to say he was here to grind the stump. She called me & put Roy on the phone, I told him we have to move cars & cabinets out of the garage, he’ll have to come later, he said ok. I called Mr Tree and talked with Andrea who said they forgot to call me & let us know he would be there. Shortly afterwards (the same day), Shawna called & the trimmers will call if they can make it today for the maple tree.
Willie called at 8:55am, said they would have some guys out in about 45 minutes to an hour to finish the maple tree. I asked my daughter to not leave the house yet so she could let them in.
10:13am now over an hour and Mr Tree has not came. Daughter had to leave but locked dogs in house. Called Willie & asked where are they? He said a crew will be there in about 10 minutes. I said ok, no problem. Our dogs are locked up but I need to know when they are done so my neighbor can let the dogs out as we have an elder dog who can’t hold it for hours, he said ok.
Couple hours went by, Willie never called back to let us know they were done. Luckily my husband stopped by for lunch & let the dogs out.
About 3pm, Roy, the stump grinder guy came back as he said he would. Nice guy, did the job as promised. Thank you!!

Mr. Tree Inc did some “thinning” of a timber stand on my property. I was impressed by all their top notch equipment and the felling skill of the employees. Workers were polite and cleaned up after the job was finished. I would recommend Mr. Tree Inc. to anyone looking for “do it all” tree service company.

These guys were fantastic! Super professional, quick and friendly. They came in and got the job done in no time and cleaned up all of the mess and stacked the wood that was left. Their prices were very reasonable, I highly recommend them!

What a difference less than 24 hours makes. After some miss communication Rick with Mr. Tree personally came out to address the concerns I had. We walked through the project and he did an amazing job in explaining all that will be performed. I can’t say enough about Rick’s professionalism with Mr Tree and their desire to make things right. These guys are the BEST! Fred and his crew did a fantastic job and the price was the most reasonable we could find. We truly can't recommend then enough and will definitely hire them for any future tree needs.

My very old apple tree got out of hand, the crew showed up on time and were friendly and professional. The rain came down at the end of the job and made it difficult to finish the clean up. One phone call and here they are again to finish the clean up of the yard around the tree. I am very happy with their work and would recommend them anytime.

This company came to my property on time and did an excellent job. They were extremely good at doing everything that was asked. Cleaned up and left me feeling good about hiring them. I would surely recommend them to anyone wanting tree service. Phil.

Picked up a generous cord of a hardwood/softwood firewood mix for a good price. They were all super friendly and even hooked me up with a new chopping block round since mine had rotted out over the winter. Even custom cut it to the height I wanted! I’ll be back.

A client recommended Mr. Tree so we called them. They were prompt, courteous, and clean. They did the work in a timely manner and left our yard spotless. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have tree work performed.

Stay away from this company. Non-professional. Quoted us a bid and then never came to finish the job. Called numerous times and got the run around every time. Finally gave up and went with a different company. I understand that tree services got overwhelmed with the storm, but after 2 months you would think you could come and finish the job you agreed you were going to complete.

I got a half a cord of wood from them for a 100.00$. I pick up not delivered save money that way, was stacked beforehand so you know that you are getting the the right amount. Wood is a mix of soft and hard. The wood is not really seasoned I got a mix of seasoned and wet the cut length are random also between 12 and 18inch lengths. Would I buy again yes I probably will because it's not far from me and I have a chain saw. I will also buy it next time in early spring so it will season through the summer and fall. So over all if you have time it's a good deal but if your looking to burn now look to spend the extra money to buy seasoned ready to go wood.

We had a tree pruned and topped! My wife has many roses and flowers near the tree. The Mr. Tree employees did a wonderful joy of pruning and topping without touching the flowers below. One man trimmed the tree above and handed down the branches to the other man below. They worked quickly and efficiently. A supervisor also came by to make sure all was going well for us, and it was.

We highly recommend Mr. Tree for any and all tree services! They did a wonderful job.

All, do not buy firewood from this business. Run, run, run the other way as fast as you can. Ordered 3 cords of firewood with the promise that it was all well seasoned and a good mix of fir, alder and maple/oak. Had to place order 3 times before they delivered the wood. When the wood delivery arrived it was clear that it was not the full 3 cords I paid for. The wood was not well seasoned by any stretch. In addition, at least half the wood was small pieces, not conducive to wood stove burning. There was very little (less that 10%) hardwood as promised. The bigger problem was what came with the wood delivery. The pile had a huge amount of debris and dirt which made a big mess on my property. Move on, do not do business with this organization.

Worked with Jeremy on the bid and the company was responsive with excellent work. We have an overgrown laurel tree and various broken branches in other trees, including a large widow maker in the neighbor's doug fir. They did massive laurel reduction and took care of the branches in about 1.5 hrs and left everything looking great. 5 stars!!

Bob from Mr. Tree was wonderful! They responded to my request to cut down a weeping willow within a day, had the tree down within a day after I accepted the bid (which was very reasonable; other bids were three times their bid). The crew that came out was amazing! The tree was very tall with my neighbors fence 4 feet away and only one small limb managed to escape into their yard and they retrieved the limb and cleaned up their yard, as well as mine. Took 1.5 hours to cut down and clean up the tree. They then came back and completed the stump grinding and again, very efficient, friendly and cleaned up their entire worksite. Bob kept in touch with me via text message which was extremely helpful. Based on the service I received, the great crews that did the work and most important the price, I would highly recommend them for any tree work and will use them in the future for all my other tree needs!!

These people were incredibly good. They were at my mom's to take out a couple of trees, and were there on the day and time promised. They were reasonable, worked very safely, and did all the cleanup. Then they came out and did it all over again for another tree we decided to take out. They will be the only ones we will call again. Would recommend them to anyone.
