So awesome! Such a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, at a really reasonable price!
I loved everything about this plant store! :) -
Great place. Friendly, helpful staff, good prices, nice selection of plants and reading material. A perfect neighborhood garden shop.

Always a pleasure to support this locally owned business. Great selection of plants, seeds, tools and items for the garden, and knowledgeable staff always happy to share suggestions and advice.

I love this place! They had all the perennials I was looking for, friendly staff and even a selection of items for kids. It is definitely my new neighborhood nursery.

Newly remodel, a great place for all your gardening needs. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. My favorite plant store in Portland.

Great little nursery, lots of selections. People seemed knowledgeable.

This place is a lovely little shop, with a lot of interesting things packed into a small space. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there were invasive species there. This might not be so bad if people were educated about the nature of the plants such as a sign up perhaps?

I live over 90 minutes away. When I got there with my 10-year-old son, they would not let him in (only 13 and older allowed). We were both masked. He is completely COVID guideline compliant, and observes social distancing. Sorry Garden Fever, you have lost a long time customer. I may be back, but it'll be to check out the goods and then buy elsewhere. Good thing Arium Botanicals, Solabee Flowers and Botanicals, Livingscape, and Marbott's Greenhouse and Nursery don't have random age restrictions.

Their plants didn’t look that healthy compared to other garden shops. Bad experience with the people who worked here.
I was wearing my leather jacket and boots and my fiancé was wearing his backpack cuz we bike and walk. The staff glared at us, never once saying hello or asking if we had questions. Followed us around and treated us like we were stealing. What a miserable place. -
The trip to Garden Fever in the spring is such a great way to be inspired for the summer! Gorgeous selection of flowers, herbs, veggies, shrubs and more. Lots of selection, really knowledgeable staff.

NO KIDS! Thirteen and under, not permitted. I am a family man, needless to say, we are now former customers. Disappointing and strange policy, I personally cannot justify returning as a customer. We were made to feel very unwelcome when we walked in with our two children, then passive aggression led us to notice the no kids policy. We respected the policy and left the store, went to another garden center and spent a bundle. I guess they do not need the business, must be nice!

I would give zero if I could. Just walked in, at least half a dozen employees there. They were talking, watering, merchandising. Not only was I not greeted, but no one offered to help. I am looking for plants and pots that are winter hardy. I always want to support small and independent shops. But this was ridiculous. They were too busy for customers 🤷🏻♀️

Plants all look so good. A bit on the pricey side but only by a couple bucks. 4 stars though because I have yet to be rung up correctly :( I’ve only been coming here for about 3 months and the plants are always rung up wrong. And the receipt you get is so vague it’s hard to prove your case if you leave and come back. It would be awesome if the receipt said the name of the plant or at least size of pot and price (6” potted plant).

In the past I've been pleased with the veggie transplants from Garden Fever. Spring of 2022 has been a completely different story; very disappointing! Lettuce, sugar pod peas, pole beans and tomato plants from Garden Fever have all failed! I've been growing veggies in Portland since 1984 and I've never had so many problems with transplants. I'm NOT buying any more from GF this year; switching to Portland Nursery. I hope Garden Fever will have better quality next year.

As a novice gardener, I came to Garden Fever with a lot of questions! I recently moved into my new home which came with a fresh shiny raised bed, and the sunny weather had been itching for me to plant my own garden!
I knew roughly what I wanted to plant, but I didn't know what varieties to get, how far to space them out, what kind of fertilizer to use, etc. The staff was so helpful! I basically had a 1:1 personal session with one of their employees in the nursery who helped me pick out a bounty of vegetables to plant! In the end I walked out with a giant bag of fertilizer, kale, lettuce, strawberries, peppers, and tomatoes for less than $30! Very reasonable, especially for the amazing service! I'll be back for sure! -
**UPDATE: I decided to give this place a second chance and when I went back I was excited to see they had an alocasia stingray. I bought one and was dismayed to discover that it is infested with bugs. I had it on a shelf with at least 15 other plants and luckily it doesn't appear to have spread. I've never had houseplant pests and I'm super annoyed that when I decided to try Garden Fever again, I almost wrecked my whole houseplant collection with one infested plant. Definitely never going back again.**
The selection is fine but honestly not more varied or healthy than other nurseries around town. Except here, you'll pay boutique prices for your plants. Today I went in and looked at pinstripe calatheas for sale that are literally double the price as some I looked at elsewhere earlier this week (same size, too). Save your hard-earned money! -
This is one of my favorite garden stores in Portland. They have a great selection of plants-old favorites and more unusual varieties. They also have a nice selection of garden accessories. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

Truly Great garden supply shop. Amazing array of trees, shrubs, and outdoor plants of all kinds. Vast supply of seeds and top-flight garden equipment. This is your headquarters for potted peppers! Buy in bulk. All of my selections from this source are thriving! Go Now!

Lots of cool Artisan stuff. Pricing seems a little high but then you are getting quality and cool stuff. Lots of plants tools supplies and soil. All of your gardening things and some makes nice gifts. A very pleasant shopping experience.

A wonderful garden shop and plant nursery with a large selection of plants and they always stock many organic vegetable starts. Tools, fertilizers, soil amendments, watering supplies, basically everything the home gardner could need is here at reasonable prices and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

I bought some amazing plants for great prices!! Highly recommend. It is one of the best plant shops and quite a big store. They have everything from outdoor to indoor. Service was great and my questions were answered.
