With a summer of staying home, this was the year to tackle our yard projects. Although we had a rough idea of what we wanted, we did not have the creativity or knowledge of what would work well for our needs nor where to put everything. We reached out to a couple of landscape experts. Ben was very communicative, has very detailed descriptions of the services provided and a design sense we identified with.

We have a small yard and sensible budget. Ben was open to the our ideas and any changes we proposed. He was able to work within our means and put together a really great design that we're very pleased with. We'll end up with a yard that is pleasant all year round without requiring constant maintenance.

We think part of the fun of having a yard is getting your hands dirty, so we're currently working on implementing Ben's design ourselves. However, we knew some things were a little too big to handle ourselves. Ross NW helped us with a crew to install a gorgeous paver patio. Again they were conscious of our budget and we could not be happier with results. Thanks Jose!

The few people who have seen the work have been blown away by the transformation so far and we can't wait until we've completed our part of the plan and get to enjoy the final result.

Ben and the team at Ross NW Watergardens were an absolute joy to work with. For our backyard renovation we were looking for Palm Springs function/design aesthetic with (mostly) Northwest native plants for low water and low maintenance needs. His company delivered what we wanted, flawlessly.

We had heard many contractor horror stories over the years (abandoning projects, etc) but felt like this would not be an issue with Ross NW due to Ben’s very thorough communication right from the start. He was upfront with what we should expect to pay, the expected timeline from design to completion, and about other projects that were currently in process that may affect ours.

Ben’s attention to detail and ease of explaining abstract concepts is right where it needs to be. We truly hit the jackpot choosing this company for our renovation. Ben was exceptional from the initial meeting and throughout the design process where he was never dogmatic about his design and welcomed any changes we had to the layout or plant selection. He gave many great recommendations but was never pushy about which direction we should go.

Once work began, his crew was respectful of our home and our adjacent neighbors. Ben checked in on-site throughout the project and was always in communication with us, via email, about what was coming up next, and any scheduling issues.

It has been surreal to see how well this project moved from design to completion and we have “is this really our backyard!?” moments every time we go outside. It’s incredible to have such a serene space to relax and entertain in, and a space that rivals the landscape architecture of many hotels we’ve stayed in.

Ross NW Watergardens just completed a major renovation and repair to our water feature that included a new pump, skimmer, bio-filter, fixing a leak and improving the water flow. We very much appreciated Ben's practical advice and recommendations. We were able to quickly come to an agreement on what needed to be done and the cost. Ben came out twice to ensure that we understood his Proposal and that we were aligned on the expectations. When it was time to start, Ben and his crew showed up on time and completed the job sooner than expected. They worked carefully and cleaned up after each day's work. My wife and I are very pleased with the job and recommend the company highly.

Working with Ben, Joe and crew was the most problem-free, productive, enjoyable job we’ve ever done with a contractor. And since we moved into a home that had been largely untouched since 1954 we have hired a lot of contractors over the past 5 years. It has been a pleasure and we think our backyard is nothing less than breathtaking.

We asked Ross NW Watergardens to propose a replacement design for our aged waterfall with small pond to both reduce the water feature's maintenance (lots of tree debris fall) and aesthetically upgrade it for a more natural, integrated and non-linear appearnce. Ben guided us through the proposal review process over a couple of weeks and several iterations to arrive at a natural flowing pondless design solution to meet all of the design objectives identified for a very competitive price.

I worked with Ben at Ross NW Watergardens to clean up a tight area that was overgrowing with weeds behind my home.

Out went the existing plants, pavers, and an old concrete pad. In went a new weed barrier, quarter-minus gravel, and some nice 24-inch pavers.

Ben's team also did a significant amount of work around my front yard. Taking out existing plants, part of the lawn, and installing a new paver patio.

Ben was very responsive throughout the entire process. He followed up promptly to my questions and was present on site when needed.

The team did terrific job and kept things nice and clean throughout the ordeal.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with Ben and his team again in the future.

Ben met with us and provided a very competitive pricing estimate for our project. In fact, it was 4 times less than one other Portland landscape design firm! We could not be more pleased with the quality of the lighting (lifetime warranty) and the outstanding service.
Elliot did a phenomenal job installing path and garden lighting at our house. He was very meticulous with installation details and communicated well with us to design path lighting exactly as requested.

Ben and his team couldn’t have provided better service. In 2023, they managed the full overhaul of our backyard—removing overgrown bamboo, an old privacy fence, and a previous concrete patio. They then installed a beautiful new paver patio, landscape lighting, plantings, and fencing, handling every step seamlessly.

Even two years later, they’re still incredibly responsive and helpful with questions about maintenance. We couldn’t have asked for a better design or a more professional, reliable team. Highly recommend!

We hired Ross NW Watergardens to do a complete overhaul of our front yard. It was a dry and barren eyesore. Ben came in, took some pictures, and got back to us with a proposal super quickly. Once work started , it was super quick, just 3 days (granted it’s a small yard). There were around 50-ish plants, a large amount of river rocks to make a dry pond, fresh bark dust, and they installed a drip irrigation system. The crew was super polite and friendly. Ben was very communicative and understanding of us having to work around the holiday weekend for our money to get moved around. It was a great experience and we are so happy with our yard.

My backyard was a shambles when I started my hunt for someone who could match my esthetic and meet my expectations. We used Prestige to have bluestone risers installed. Braiden and his crew were excellent! During the estimate process, Braiden talked me through a few different options and provided a thorough and detailed quote. The installation took two days and the crew was courteous and did an awesome job. Braiden stopped by to make sure we were happy with everything, and he was generous enough to provide some helpful insights as we worked on a DIY patio adjacent to the risers. I highly recommend and will plan to reach out to Prestige in the future.

Very Happy with the process from beginning to end of my new front yard landscape which was very extensive and included a large water feature. I hired Patrick and his team to install gravel and pavers and do some planting in my backyard. I am so happy with their work. They arrived on time every morning, were very communicative, and were very friendly and knowledgeable. They even helped me address some problem areas with water runoff. Patrick's pricing is transparent and fair. I had reached out to four different landscapers for this project and am so happy I chose Prestige. I will be hiring them again for future work.

We had an amazing experience with Prestige from beginning to end! When we first contacted them for an estimate, they responded promptly and were able to make an appointment with us in a reasonable time. When we laid out what we wanted and Prestige was up to the task and gave great advice on how we could get what we wanted out of the project. They re-purposed some of the yard debris and stones (from a water feature that we wanted to get rid of) into the project. The crew arrived on time every day that they came to work. We were introduced to each of them and they were polite and hard working. Prestige was a very efficient and clear communicator both via email and text messaging throughout the whole process. The job came out EXACTLY as we had hoped. The job was done in the exact number of days quoted at the initial estimate and the cost of the project was less than what we had been thinking prior to contacting Prestige.
