Mossy did a great job for me removing several trees. They were punctual, did the job faster than expected and did a nice job cleaning up. They were competitively priced as well.

Competitive pricing, timely response. Very friendly and professional. We got the estimate to remove a plum tree within 2 days of contacting them. Price was competitive. The plum tree was removed the following week. The team showed up on time, was extremely professional, offered to trim additional trees for free. I highly recommend them, and will use their services again in the future.

I highly recommend Mossy Tree service,they did an excellent job removing a fir tree in my front yard,They dropped the tree in the side street ,so as not to damage my lawn, chipped all the limbs up ,and cut the rest up into firewood.I had about 4 bids for the tree removal and stump grind and they were the lowest,I couldn't have ask for a better job,had everything cleaned up nicely when they were done. I would highly recommend Mossy Tree Care to anyone looking for work to be done. They helped prune 3 of my neighbors trees coming over our fence and into our yard since they don't maintain the plants themselves. But specifically our neighbor w/the giant walnut tree, they went above and beyond to cut branches and trim things back, actually doing HER a favor in the process! (Hope she's happy w/her FREE tree trimming!)

From start to finish they were extremely professional and communicated very well, even when they were onsite at my house! They ended up doing extra work not quoted and chose not to charge me, which is very generous of them! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know and will likely use them again in the future for other yard needs.

Excellent communication, top notch skill, and very reasonable prices. They went above and beyond on everything they touched, and were very careful around our numerous new plants . We had a bunch of neglected and poorly planted trees from the previous owners of our property. They tailored a diagnosis for every individual tree: which one's couldn't be saved, how to improve the health of the others, how to prevent common future problems, and how to give desired qualities such as aesthetics or providing more light to the yard.

One that had to go was 100ft+ and very rotten. It was a dangerous situation that could have easily gone wrong without true professionals. To top it all off it stood only 20ft from raised garden beds, and they brought the whole thing down without any damage despite the small landing area. Literally couldn't be happier with everything.

Great customer service and professional work! We didn't live very close to the business location (we live in Forest Grove) but they were still willing and eager to come out and give us a quote, unlike all the other Portland-based companies I called. Andy was super professional and quick with quoting a very fair price. Helpful with giving us options to get more 'bang for our buck.' The work was done quickly and no complaints with results. Also a special callout for Sarah, their office mgr, who was so great about helping us navigate the billing that needed to be split between us and a neighbor. Could have been a sticky situation but her help with coordinating between the two of us and coming up with a clear invoice was REALLY appreciated. Will definitely use again if the need comes up!

Andy, Noah and crew were running a little late ,so they texted and kept me informed, which is huge to me, because I've been stood up by so many contractors of late.
They came and we did a quick walk through of what to was to be pruned and they went to work.
They were the only tree company ,that actually did the work I wanted done,and not tell me what I should get done. They were also half the price of all other bids.
They called me out when they had completed the job, asked me if it was what I wanted done, and then cleaned up and they were on their way.

Andy Brown and James Unger worked a full day at my house in SW Portland. I have 3/4 of an acre, and needed trees trimmed, trees removed, shrubs trimmed, etc. Andy and James put in a full day at my house. Their equipment is first class, nearly everything they use is Stihl chainsaws, tools, etc. Their box truck is in excellent shape, as is their Vermeer wood chipper. I cannot say how nice these guys have been to work with. I've had them out twice to do work at our home and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the Portland area. Hardworking, honest, excellent judgment, and extremely capable. And not to mention, when I originally hired Mossy Tree care, their quote was very competitive and very reasonable, including obtaining tree permits, etc. Simply fantastic guys who perform in a professional manner .

Great price and timely service! Highly recommended! After probably 7 or 8 bids, this is where I decided to spend my hard-earned money with...they were very attentive to my wants, which included removing two trees, trimming a third back and removing a whole bunch of stumps...Andy is great and I certainly appreciated his walking the property without my having to come outside in the pouring down rain for my estimate...lastly, they were able to deal with my short timeline for tax purposes, which not all places I got bids from were able to accommodate...

Reliable & fair!! Gave us a bid & explained exactly what they were going to do. Did a walk through to confirm & or change what was to be done. And went to work. Followed up by cleaning everything up.

This is at least 3rd time I have used Mossy Tree and I won't use anyone else. This time was the biggest job with 4 large Hollywood Junipers and one large Doug Fir with a lot of heavy snow damage. They responded quickly, did an amazing job, left chips and cleaned up the entire yard after their work. They are so knowledgeable about trees and very sympathetic at my distress over the tree damage.

Andy and Noah both came out to look at a number of trees at our house for removal and pruning. They are both exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. The service was quick and efficient, and well priced. We will definitely use them again if we ever need any more tree removals or pruning!

Firstly, best rates out there for tree removal. The other quote we got was twice the amount. Secondly, everyone at the company was professional, kind, and communicative from the office staff I spoke to on the phone to the crew who came to cut down several trees in my yard. Lastly, the crew went above and beyond by trimming some branches they noticed handing too low over my fence and they worked around a fence I had up in the yard. It was a great experience from start to finish and I’d absolutely hire them again. Highly recommend.

We live in the Bethany area and an old oak tree near our house developed a deep structural split in the trunk. Mossy trimmed and installed cabling in our oak tree and trimmed a cherry and maple tree. We received 4 estimates and were most impressed with Mossy. Noah and the work crew were thorough, professional and courteous. They left the roof and yard clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and have already done so to neighbors and family.
