This is a great local company to work with. They did an excellent job of trimming my huge box elder and some smaller trees as well as removing an invasive species tree. The clean up was immaculate. The price was very reasonable. I can definitely recommend Portland Tree Service by Urban Timber.

Really glad I went with Urban Timber Tree Service. I live on a heavily wooded lot and have had a lot of tree services out and Urban Timber was the only one to not suggest cutting them all down. They took the time to examine each tree and the risk they posed.

I ended up doing two day rates with them and their crew was on time and very efficient. They also brought in very expensive high end machinery which helped getting more work done.

Price wise, I felt like I got a good deal for the amount of work that got done. To put things into perspective, what I paid for 1 day was less than some quotes for removing just 1 tree from other companies.

I would recommend Urban Timber to do any pruning and tree removal you may need.

My husband and I are extremely happy with the service from Urban Timber. They are knowledgeable and well equipped to do large scale tree removal and complicated pruning. They are careful and safety-conscious. Their pricing is quite reasonable. We want to thank Jeremy, the owner, for his patience and understanding in giving us the bid. We also want to thank Frank at the office for his flexibility with changes for the work to be done and Brennan, the foreman, for his friendly and helpful manner.

Urban Timber Tree Service is careful to understand what you want, while at the same time employing their expert knowledge to do the job well, with the health and well-being of your trees in mind. Results are great! Tidy, not butchered. We had them do an overall cleanup of trees and bushes on the property. They went over it with an item by item estimate and then another walk-through on the day of to make sure we all had the same understanding of what was to be done. End effect was not, wow, a lot of stuff got cut but instead, wow, everything looks healthy and tidy. Clean-up is thorough. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!

My home is in an urban woodland with several mature oak trees, a variety of Japanese maples, and a very tall, stately ponderosa pine. Great blue herons nest each spring in the bowers of my ponderosa.
I love my trees, and so I was a bit anxious that arborists hired would know how to take good care of them.
Urban Timber consulted at length with me in outlining a proposal that would both satisfy my aesthetic requirements, protect my home from falling limbs, and enhance the life and beauty of my trees.
Today the team arrived, friendly and respectful as we reviewed the proposal of work to be done. Then they went to work. The oak limbs hanging over my roof were pruned for my safety, Japanese laceleaf maples trimmed and opened to complement their beauty, other maples pruned to encourage more light in my yard. The crown goes to the guy who climbed my ponderosa, cleaned it out, and cabled a huge limb, all while respecting the three heron nests that will receive new families in the spring.

I am delighted, relieved, and sold on the professional service my trees and I received today. I will sleep well tonight!

The Urban Timber Team came out and pruned our sweet gum and a couple arborvitae in the front yard. The whole process was easy from start to finish. Got an estimate at a great price. Scheduling was easy and they came out within a couple weeks to do the work. They got everything pruned just as we discussed. Very happy with the quality of their work.

I have a100 ft. Oak and 80 ft. Linden in my back yard that require trimming back every few years because of their close proximity to my house. This is my first time using Urban Timber, and I very pleased with the job they did.

From my first phone call to the completion, the people at Urban Timber have been professional and friendly. Jeremy, Sharon, Frank, Kyle and his team of workers helped me navigate through this process with ease.

Kyle and his team are so skilled in the work that they do. They prepped the yard and deck, brought in a lift and put down large pads to drive on so the yard wouldn’t be damaged. They were precise in lowering large branches safely making sure to clear all structures. All downed branches were chipped/shredded, and all debris was removed from the roof and yard.

I highly recommend Urban Timber to anyone in need of their services. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Super happy with the tree removal service from Urban Timber Tree!! They were prompt, professional and took the time to check in as the large removal progressed. They had to take down a gate and fence panel to access the yard and everything was put right back in place. Love my yard now!!

I called Urban Timber for a 2nd opinion after being told that my Hemlock was dead and needed to come down. I am so grateful that I called them. They came out and assessed the hemlock and a spruce and gave me a very reasonable bid to trim both and to give the hemlock an injection to boost the health of it. Eric, August, and Will were all extremely kind and considerate of my yard. They cleaned my trees up beautifully and cleaned up the yard as well. I will always call Urban Timber and absolutely feel confident in their work and expertise!

The arborist was experienced, listened, and help us form a good plan. He double-checked everything with us before the work started. We had two trees taken out. The crew left rounds from those and larger branches, as we requested. On time, efficient, careful-- and worked as a team, friendly with each other. They cleaned up all debris. We also had the company come out and fertilize a couple of ailing, older trees -- a very large, ornamental cherry, and a hemlock. Time will tell on these. Very satisfied.

Great crew working for a great business. You get what you pay for. Especially with tree service. Attention to detail? Check. Situational awareness of the yard and what you don't want mangled? Check. Getting the last little bit? Check. Nice crew that are friendly and work hard? Check. 150% satisfied. I will be calling them again.

Have big, mature oak and sweet gum. Been a few years since they were last pruned. A number of dead branches and lots of fall in wind storms, but we love these trees. Urban Timber sent out a knowledgeable estimator who gave us a reasonable quote. Crew of 4 came out a few weeks later and did a great job. Opened up the canopy. Got out a lot of dead and small branches. Cabled in a vulnerable big branch on the sweet gum. Took most of a day. Respectful of ground cover and did a good job on cleanup. Will definitely call them again next time we need tree work.

Elite tree service was great to deal with from start to finish. They gave me a quote in writing on day one and honored it every step of the way. They never tried to up sell or ask for more money. They had to deal with an upset neighbor and their crew handled it with great professionalism. I would recommend them to close friends and family.

I want too add that they trimmed a tree of mine in the yard above a large iris flower bed and did damage a single flower. They left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. The tree they removed was a 41 year old Douglas fir 2 feet from the house and towering over the roof. Not a single piece of the tree of consequence landed on the roof or the paint. My paint job was only a mouth old and still looks brand new. And they consolidated the cut wood so my dogs still have room to potty in the yard. And ground the stump with care and a big wide arc to get all of the big roots.

I will not mention the price I paid. All situations are different. But For a licensed bonded tree service with a bucket truck. They are very very competitive, call them for a bid. The salesman I worked with was Kelly. He was straight forward. He was no nonsense. Direct but not pushy. More like a fun uncle than a salesman.
