Great experience with Ethan R. We recently purchased an older home and all the electrical was not up to code. He walked is through the process and what needed to be done to ensure the house is safe and properly grounded as well. Replaced the breaker box and labeled it which the previous one was labeled in fading pencil and wires all over the place. Highly recommend! Very professional

Ethan was professional, kind and courteous. My kitties even loved him and he didn't mind me talking his leg off while he fixed my light issues. All of my outside auto lights had failed and it's necessary for my safety and those visiting me. Highly recommend this company!

I cannot say enough about this installation, a 24 KW whole house backup generator. The designer and installers were very professional and very knowledgeable. This was a difficult install, with 400 amp service split over two service panels plus a 20KW solar panel system feeding in. As you can see from the photos, the finished job is neat and clean and looks great! Jose M. and Bill R. impressed me with their knowledge and obvious training. Please consider this team if you need electrical work done.

We are very happy with the Service we received from Mr. Electric of Salem, the other day. Bill R. had many jobs to complete at our house. Among them were... installing a whole house surge protector, four light fixtures, one of which was to be
mounted onto a slanted ceiling. Also, he installed five new smoke detectors, and two digital timers for us... and so on. Bill gave us some very good pointers on what might be needed here in the future. Bill also did a great job cleaning up after his work was done and was easy to communicate with from beginning to the end. We will request him for our next Electrical need, that's for sure . Thanks again to Mr Electric, for forwarding a photo of Bill R., before he came out to the house. A much appreciated Safety feature!

We have a 100 year old home in Salem and we were concerned about having an electrician come who might not really know how to do things in an older house. However, the electrician, David N., is wonderful— very knowledgeable and industrious. After the consultation, I felt confident enough to let David start working on some of the many projects immediately. I look forward to using Mr. Electric for any future projects!

We have nothing but great things to say about Mr. Electric & the electrician who did the work in our home, Tim. First, I really like the business model of seeing what the customer wants done, providing input & suggestions, then quoting the full price before any work begins. No surprises!
As for Tim, he was excellent. With 37 years of experience, he has that calm demeanor and confident personality which comes from knowing his business. He worked efficiently yet was relaxed enough to engage in casual conversation not only about the electrical matters but other things as well.

Never expected to need to call Mr. Electric, but I’m sure glad I did! My main home electrical panel was completely fried and needed a total overhaul. We lost all power.

Our tropical fish need to be kept at 78 degrees and we were so worried we would lose them! It’s the middle of winter and the temperature in the house was dropping fast.

Highly recommend! Professional, clean, fast scheduling, and amazing at custom work. I will use them for all my future electrical needs. I had under and upper cabinet lights added around my cook range to match the rest of my kitchen and it looks amazing! I can even change my lights from warm to cool and dim them. I am quite happy with Bill's work and will be hiring him to light my custom bookcases in the future.

WOW! I am truly impressed with every aspect of Mr Electric. First, they were the only company out of several that returned my call. They scheduled a visit to scope out the work and give an estimate right away. Tim is our tech and he is exceptional with his knowledge and quality work. Bill R did an amazing job on the new electrical service to my house. He installed a new meter mast and base; a new 200amp panel, 5 new outlets inside the house and a new GFI outlet outside for my pond. I also had him install a ceiling light in my living room and family room
And replace the kitchen light with a new led light.
Bill is honest hard working, very efficient and knowledgeable and it was a relief and pleasure to have someone I could trust doing the work. I will definitely use Bill for any further electrical needs.

David was prompt, curtious and took the time to explain what the issue was and what he needed to do to fix it. My light fixture was not standard, so he had to order the necessary parts to replace it and get it working again. Very happy with his service.

Mathieu was great. He installed lights in two rooms with vaulted ceilings, replaced a ceiling light/fan in one of our bathrooms, and replaced some switches. If we need more work done in the future, we'll definitely want him on the job. Both my wife and I were very pleased with the results.

Matthieu was great! He was friendly, helpful and professional. He gave us a reasonable, free estimate to replace three light fixtures and was then able to do the work right then. He also gave us an estimate to install some ceiling fans, which we will do in the near future. We love that Matthieu will now be "attached" to our home for all future work (and we have lots of plans!).

Ethan, with Mr. Electric, did an excellent job locating the source of why I was not getting power to some of my lights in my family room and kitchen. Ethan tested every outlet in my house to see if one of the outlets might be causing the issue as to why I wasn’t getting power to all my lights. He explained that bad outlet could cause a circuit of lights not to work. After testing all my outlets in the house he decided to test the outlets in my garage. The first outlet he tested was the culprit. The wiring was fried and the outlet was hot and a fire hazard waiting to happen. He changed out the wiring and installed a brand new outlet, problem solved. Lights/heaters worked and everything was good in the world again. Most of the cost was under the initial diagnostic charge to troubleshoot what might be causing the power failure. The extra charge to replace one light socket was very reasonable. Ethan took time to discuss the process of each step he was taking to find the source of the electrical failure. I would recommend Mr. Electric, specifically Ethan to anyone needing help with fixing their electrical issues. He is an excellent electrician, very knowledgeable. Thank you so much Ethan you are a rockstar!!!

We started having power issues Tuesday night, called around to shops on Wednesday, and by the end of the day we had an appointment with Mr. Electric to come out and take a look. Dustin has been phenomenal, working from early afternoon through the evening to make sure the work got done and that we had access to our power. He was friendly and we're so appreciative of his time 🙌🏻 We will call Mr. Electric for future needs!

Ethan was awesome! He showed up on time, and texted when he was on his way. Ethan was professional and more than happy to answer any and all questions we had. He did a full panel swap/upgrade for us. He straightened out and fixed a couple circuits that the previous home owner had wired together. Before the panel looked like a wiring nightmare, and after Ethan finished it looks amazing. He even took the time to figure out which breakers were which, and label them for us. He takes care in doing his job, pride in doing it right and making it look professional. I would recommend Ethan to anyone looking to get electrical work done.

Matthieu came to my house the day after I requested a consultation. He gave me a reasonable quote and started and finished the job the next day. He installed 8 new ceiling lights in our dining room and living room, replacing old halogen can lights, and ran a new 20amp circuit into my office, installing 2 separate outlets for me. He also installed two new lights in the ceiling of my office and gave me some quotes on future projects. Matthieu was very personable, professional and nice, and did an amazing job. He was willing to answer questions regarding future projects, gave me expert advice on surge protectors and UPS systems, and the whole encounter was just a great experience. I knew he was a good guy when my dog walked right up to him immediately and liked him, My dog is afraid of almost everyone. It’s such a relief when you find a company and a person that knows what they’re doing, offers fair prices, answers your questions and feels like a friend from the get go. I cannot express enough the quality of service and work done by Matthieu from Mr Electric! Thank you, and I look forward to the next project. * I almost forgot, Matthieu noticed an attic exhaust fan was running off the light switch in the office which was not wired correctly or supposed to be on a switch at all and in the process of wiring the lights to that switch, fixed the wiring for the exhaust fan so it will now work properly. I really can’t say enough about the service and the quality of work it was fantastic!

Chad came out on time. He did a safety check on my circuit panel to make sure he was safe performing work on our outlets. He then gave me a good quote and switched out the outlets. Recommended!
