We had Pfeifer replace a 20+ year old roof that was worse than it should have been due to very bad venting of the roof. I had five companies quote the roof replacement and, in the process, learned about methods to improve roof venting. Our house has very low ridge vent area to attic floor area. There are online roof vent calculators that help you understand what is needed. (Owens Corning site has one). The Pfeifer quote had the most straight forward and best approach to fixing our problem of the 5 quotes I had done. Plus Jess pointed out 5 fans that previously vented to the ridge vent which caused moisture damage to the roof plywood. Pfeifer added separate individual vents for the fans. We have a very large roof which required a full 2 weeks to finish. The Pfeifer team was very conscience and detailed and did daily cleanups. They answered my questions as best they could. The site manager, Isaac, was available to answer detailed questions. Isaac came back and did a final roof inspection after the team completed their work and inspected for anything missed that had fallen around the house. He also helped me inspect their work up in the attic and pointed out how and where the new vents were cut into the plywood so that they worked properly!

The lady that answered the phone was so sweet and listened. Had an estimate from 2 employees then roofers came out and completed work. Fast and efficient. I did have to call about getting appt after estimation and they came out tha same day. . .

The quality of the work itself was great. Everything was left clean, the workers were very respectful of my property.
The only negative , if there is one, is that in years past I was contacted by your staff to notify me that it was time to clean and treat my roof and set up an appointment. That was not the case this year. It’s been more than a year since it was last done and I had not been contacted so I contacted you. If notifying your past customers is no longer your policy, I’ll put it in my calendar for the next time it’s due. Thank you.
