When we first moved to Eugene, I did an intense reach-out to every housekeeping service in the area. Here's what I found out, so let me save you some time: IF a business responded at all, it was always a 3 hour minimum and they told *me* what they would do, not what I wanted them to do. Many are actually located 3 hours away and can only come on limited The rates were also extremely high (and we are from California where we are accustomed to higher prices on everything). Our home is small and only two of us live here and we didn't need bedrooms done - just the main house living areas. Valley Cleaners not only promptly responded to my inquiry, they listened to exactly what I wanted, offered a reasonable rate and we love the professional they assigned to us, who is now a regular every week. I trust her- and the owners of Valley Cleaners and our professional does a good job - even our dog likes them. It is a wonderful necessity and luxury to have our home cleaned for us, but to also be able to work with such a professional team - both administratively as well as the actual housekeeping- is a true comfort. I recommend Valley Cleaners to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy and responsive professional team.

I ordered a basic cleaning service for my parents’ home, and Valley Cleaners did a great job! My parents said the carpets never looked so good. Communicating over text was easy. I always got quick responses. I also appreciated that I could add customized cleaning options. They’re a solid cleaning option.

Rude staff

I was really pleased today. Got in and got what I needed done and then picked up a few extras. I waited a little longer in line but it was my choice. The gentleman in front of me offered to let me go ahead but I was in no hurry. And then another line emptied and I moved over. I do wish however that the online shoppers would not overcrowd the isles. I realize they have a job to do but they don't need to block the whole aisle with their carts. Someone else's shopping convenience is making my shopping convenience non-existent.

I had a retaining wall totally collapse leaving 5 mature Arborvitae’s on the edge of a slope - no longer supported. I consulted with multiple hardscaping/landscaping companies, and was told it was irreparable and someone would have to remove it before they could do anything.
Ken, from Western Texture was able to do it all. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a fair price for the job. He removed all the debris from the old wall, and built me a beautiful new wall, with drainage capabilities, that will last. He came out every day and worked hard until the job was done, and saved my trees. I really appreciated Ken’s work ethic and knowledge, and would highly recommend Western Texture.

Ross did a beautiful job on our pond and water fall.He made it to our Specific needs. It was deep enough to keep out the raccoons, keeping the raccoons away from our pond fish. There has been no leaking at all to the pond Also did a great job landscaping around the pond. We have been enjoying it ever since.

Pond Magicians

We inherited a 30-year-old pond with a house we bought when we moved to Eugene. Raising koi was a dream and the pond was a huge part of the magic of living in this place that we love. It was the bleeding heart of our yard and garden. Not a year later an ice storm brought down a 200-foot tree right on top of the pond. It was the last straw for the pond, now leaking nearly 2000 gallons a day. After dozens of plumbers, contractors, and pond experts weren't able to find sources of the leak we were ready to fill it in with dirt and give up.

Ross at Sunset Winds Designs was referred to us by Jim Daichi and he changed everything. He and his crew studied the problem and painstakingly over months jackhammered out the old concrete pond and excavated by hand (our yard is too secluded by stairs and hills to allow heavy machinery) a proper 5000 gallon pond actually deep enough for koi, more than twice as deep. The new shell is gorgeous, with reinforced concrete and rebar mesh and something like 8 coats of sealant and skim coat that will last through the apocalypse. The pond doesn't leak a drop of water now, and he also retrofitted a beautiful waterfall which is also now useable and watertight.

Along the way, we got to know Ross and his crew. There aren't enough adjectives, but they are:

* Insanely hard working. Not sure I've ever seen anyone work that hard

* Meticulous with the tiniest details. Every rock was planned, sometimes 2 days of work just to get a boulder in exactly the perfect aesthetic position, working around weather to get the perfect conditions to pour concrete. Despite major construction, they did it around our new deck without a scratch

* True artists with a vision for aesthetic details, hiding plumbing, an eye for symmetry and when to break it, knowledgeable about so many techniques and where to use each

* Prolific communicators - constantly letting us know details of the work, always advising us when the work would be done, explaining in detail the methods, reviewing every setback and success.

* Honest, kind, extraordinary human beings. It's been a genuine pleasure to meet someone like Ross who is just an admirable person, and his crew follow his lead.

Fastforward to now we have the pond we always dreamed of - thanks to Ross and Sunset Winds. Happy to give anyone more detail or show off the pond. Ross can get you our number. Ours was a big job. I'm 100% confident that Ross can handle whatever you need at a fair price with truly expert results.
