Tree reviews in Springfield, Oregon

Superior Tree Service did a great job! They are efficient and affordable. It was a big job and they had it done in one day instead of three as we were told by other companies. The best in town!!! Thanks guys!

The Vinsons

I had three tall cedars removed today due to root disease. Six guys came out and were done in 2-1/2 hours. Cut the trunks into wood stove sized lengths, chipped alll the branches, raked the yard and blew off the driveway. And a really great price. Highly recommended.

Superior sent out Carlos to remove a large Trumpet Vine stump that then trailed everywhere. It was a dirty unforgiving job. He worked cheerfully nonstop going way beyond what I think most people would do!!
Vince set up the job with great efficiency. Will have then back in winter for a big birch pruning job!

Vince surveyed the job. The crews were here twice. Once to take down a large pine and a larger Doug fir. Another time to take down 10 twenty year old birch. They were very efficient and courteous. Brent had good advice and they did a good job in cleaning up the sites.

Joseph and Austin with Superior Tree service were prompt, professional and friendly. We were so happy with the quality of the work and the helpful attitude of both gentlemen. We will definitely be calling them again for future work.

Vince came out and worked with me to come up with a plan to care for our 50 year old maple tree. Vince gave us a quote that was significantly less expensive than another arborist. Vince handled calling eweb to take care of our power line. I wanted to save money by handling the clean up myself. Ratger than leaving a natural mess, Vince had his guys chop and organize a lot of the wood as they were available during the job. Vince also didn't collect payment until he knew that I was satisfied with the job. I was. I highly recommend Vince and his crew.

We had a stand of tall ash trees pruned 8 trees. Very happy with their service. Austin made sure he knew what we wanted done. He also made sure we were made aware of everything they were doing. He is a great communicator and worker. Eric was the climber and wow, what a great job. Scotty was the limb dragger/chipper guy. Cam came later and seemed to do a little of everything. This stand of trees is by a stream bank. steep hill. We have plantings on upper part if hill. How Scotty managed to get some HUGE limbs up the hill time after time and manage to avoid all of our plants is a miracle ! All four men were hard workers and very professional. Clean up was awesome. Will always use Superior Tree Service in the future.

We had a beautiful large oak tree that came down in a wind storm in our backyard. Superior Tree cleaned up this mess and returned our yard to us in pristine condition. They responded quickly to make sure we were safe. I would highly recommend this great group of folks.

I hired Superior to remove a large, unslightly Sweet Gum tree in my front yard and grind away the stump as well. What can I say, the service was definitely “Superior”. Honestly, Superior was head and shoulders above most companies in the area simply by answering the phone and being available to do the job. They were fast, efficient and took the time to do cleanup the right way. Additionally, the price was very reasonable and the work was performed in a very short period of time. My only complaint—and not enough to warrant dropping a star—was that the chip removal wasn’t done as well as it could have been the first time so that had to send someone back. However, they got someone out here quickly to ensure that I was fully satisfied with the job they did. Thanks Superior and if I need service in the future I will definitely. Give you a buzz!

They were nice, professional & informative with competitive prices. I'm very happy with my yard now. We had a very tall tree removed and smaller ones trimmed. They left the yard very clean and the firewood from the tree in neat, manageable sized pieces. Thanks! I'll be calling back when I need more work done!

After a tree fell in my yard and broke my arm, I contacted a few tree service companies. Vince from superior trees, came by to check out the yard for any other potential risks/dead trees. He was professional and caring. He gave me a very reasonable/competitive estimate and was able to squeeze me in that week which made a world of a difference as I was living in fear of more falling trees. The crew that arrived was great, they were kind and respectful. You could tell they were knowledgeable and love their job. Could not recommend them enough!

We had Superior Tree Services cut ten large trees this week. Several of the trees were close to a fence and one huge pine was close to a storage shed. Before hiring them, we got several estimates to make sure their fee was reasonable. They completed the job in one day, and returned the next day to clean up the area. At all times they were courteous, safe, and professional. They left the site neat and checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with the job. Plus, they honored the Savvy Saver coupon, as advertised.

Very pleased with the tree trimming and removal that was done close to the house. Excellent crew that worked hard and very safe. They cleaned up after and ensured full satisfaction before leaving. The communication before and after the job was great. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing tree service.

We bought our home in 2016, and loved the fact that it had a gigantic redwood right next to the house. After a few winters, and losing several large branches onto and around the house, we knew it had to go. We contacted Vince, and he got out to check the tree out immediately. He gave us a quote that we liked, and a few days later his crew showed up and removed the tree in two days. The crew were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and even contacted our neighbors so they could remove some debris that had ended up in their yard during the removal. We're very happy with the quality of Superior Tree Service's work, and happily recommend them to anyone looking to have a tree removed, or trimmed! Thanks Vince, and crew!

I highly recommend Superior Tree Service. They offer competitive prices, accurate estimates, and excellent customer service.

For our project they removed a downed tree, crowned/reduced a tree that was high-risk for falling on our house, and completed a few other tasks (removed tree branches touching our roof, a small tree, and another dead tree).

The owner was quick to respond to my inquiry to set up the free estimate, and he was able to get our project scheduled and completed quickly. Joe and Austin arrived on time and worked efficiently. They were very friendly and communicated project progress very well. They cleaned up behind themselves and left our yard looking better than before they came.

We will definitely use them again for any big tree needs!

I wanted to take the time to review the work I had done by Superior Tree Service. They did a perfect job on both heavy work and finesse work and left my property so clean there literally was not a trace that they’ve done so much work. No saw dust, stomped on plants, or any of the other horror stories you hear about when having tree work done. The estimate was absolutely spot on and I could not be more satisfied. Thank you Vince and and crew! I only wish more businesses were run like this outfit. 👍🏼🌲🏡

Superior Tree Service is just that, Superior! These guys and gals do a great job, have great work ethic and know what they're doing. I have used Vince's company for several years now. Austin, Brent and Katie are a great crew!! Thanks you guys for always doing a great job!

We have used Superior Tree Service for a number of years now and have never been disappointed with their work. Our latest experience, October 2024, was having a difficult large oak tree removed. The sprawling tree had been leaning further and further and had created a large mound as the roots pulled upward. The crew from Superior believed that another ice storm could bring the tree down, damaging other trees and a fence.
The 'tricky' removal was accomplished quickly and professionally. Superior took extra care to ensure that an old heavy picnic table and a yard statue were moved safely out of the way. When finished, the yard was cleaned up and everything was back in place. Great work as usual from Superior Tree Service!

Could not have been easier, came out quickly for an estimate, assessment was thorough and bid was better on my budget than other tree services I have used. I was able to get scheduled promptly and could not be happier with the work that was done.

We had Superior Tree Service remove five very old and large evergreen trees from our yard. They were precariously close to the neighbor’s house and fence. The crew arrived on time, were professional, and worked hard all day to get the job done. They cleaned up all of the debris when they were finished. It all looks fantastic with no damage to anything. Thank you Vince and crew for a job well done! I would not hesitate to recommend Superior to anyone needing tree services.

Superior Tree Svc did an amazing job taking down a 50' to 60' scarlet oak tree that the wind had blown over onto a fence. They responded quickly and cleaned up debris completely.
The estimator and removal crew were friendly, and worked quickly.
I would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal or pruning.
This is an excellent tree service company.
