Electrical reviews in St Helens, Oregon

Troy and his team at North by Northwest did a great job when I needed a fast upgrade to a panel - fast and responsive, very professional! Would definitely give them a call if I need electrical work in the future.

Clay Lawrence was very helpful in trying to assess my problem. He was not only very punctual, but was actually early, and did his utmost to explain the whole situation. Very happy with this company!

Called yesterday about a problem, Trent came out today and quickly figured it out and solved it, while explaining how it all worked. I understand what the problem is and a little bit more about GFI’s. I’ll be calling this company from here on out for anything electrical. Thanks a bunch!

Great quick service. The staff members that came to my house were friendly, quick and knowledgeable. They were patient with my nosy, loud "helpful" dogs. I would definitely call them again and recommend their services.

I have used North By Northwest for two electrical jobs. I found them to be professional, quick to book an appointment, on time and friendly. I would recommend them and will use them again when I need more work done. Price seemed reasonable for electrical work.

I learned the hard way that North by Northwest was the best electrical service in the county. Unlike previously employed professional electrical contractors, North by Northwest can quickly and accurately diagnose electrical problems, fix them right away, and with reasonable pricing.

I just wish I'd discovered them years ago. I would suggest that anyone needing a true professional call on North by Northwest first and save yourself a lot of grief and expense.

Clay showed up early which was great, he was a very respectful young man and perfect manners. Did a very good job. If you need North by Northwest Services and you get Clay sent out, you will be very happy. Thank you Clay!

Their customer service was top notch. They did everything I asked and more. They responded quickly to my request, they were able to schedule me quickly, they did a great job, and Luiz the drywall person was amazing. I highly recommend their services.

Troy's work has always been top notch and he is a delight to work with. We appreciate his many years of experience, conscientious professionalism, clean workmanship and good character. Big or small project, we will always highly recommend North By Northwest to our friends and family. Thanks Troy!!

I hired Northwest Services to wire and install a cadet heater last summer. They had to go under the house to complete the wiring, and drill access in the walls for both the heater and a thermostat. They finished the work that same day 6 months ago. I was impressed by the reasonable cost, and the timely manner in which the job was finished. Northwest Services meets the standards of professionalism that I look for in all of the building trades, and I will definitely be hiring the company again.

Troy delivered the service that he promised, and we were very pleased. He is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He would be a good choice for any electrical needs such as our generator set up.

Troy installed a generator bypass switch for us. He did a great job for a fair price. I also had him out to bid another job that was a simple fix that I could do on my own. He was honest and saved me a bunch of money. I will use them for any electrical work I need in the future.

During a recent storm our main line was knocked down and we needed an electrician in a pinch. Troy came out that day through the snow to provide an estimate. He was very nice and went over everything with us and put us at ease. He also moved around appointments so that we could get our power back on asap. The guys came out the following day to fix our mast. They were very professional and worked 6 hours straight in the cold to get us our power back. Huge thanks to N/NW for all the help!

Very professional! Troy was on time and he knows his trade! What we asked for Troy delivered. The price he quoted was exactly what we paid... We must note very reasonable and not pricey. We are in the middle of home remodeling and are in the beginning stages. As we continue with our remodeling, we will definitely use his services again. Moreover, we will refer him to our friends and family.

North by Northwest did a terrific job for us. Our job was complex and they figured out the best solution, worked well with the inspector and the utility. The restructured service gave us the extra capacity we were after. I felt well advised and well served.

Clay was on-time, communicative, and professional. He was able to repair our baseboard heating quickly, just in time for a very cold night. Not only did he do a great repair job, I had watched him drive up in the work vehicle and he was a respectful and mindful driver, especially with current hazardous road conditions. Highly recommended.

Great service and fair price. Thanks for your service!

We recently had our home electrical looked at and completed. Troy and Todd were able to locate and fix all our faulty lights, outlets issues and get them working again. This also included our clothes dryer. In the process they installed new circuit breakers to replace the ones that were burnt and damaged. We highly recommend North By Northwest Services to anyone looking for a great contractor for their project. They are on time, efficient, courteous and most of all, provided great customer service. They have earned a 5 Star Review from us. Thank you again Troy and Todd for helping us out. Best regards.

Sincerely,
Pete and Lesly Romayor

I highly recommend North by Northwest Electric. I have always tried to use local businesses when hiring jobs out but most times I don't get a resonse, and/or they don't show up. That was not the case with North by Northwest. I scheduled my appointment online which was very easy to do. Troy showed up on time, gave an estimate and immediately started work. There ended up being a lot more work that needed to be done then we thought. They stayed the whole day to make sure things got done, and they came back on a Sunday and worked all day long to finish the job. Troy and his crew were very knowledgeable, friendly and so easy to work with. Their work passed inspection and the inspector said they did a great job. I absolutely will use Troy if needed in the future, and I will recommend them to anyone needing an electrician. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I would highly recommend this company. Trent was our electrician and he was awesome! He was wonderful at communicating and explaining what would be done.
They were so accommodating on the dates I requested for the work done. Thank you for a job very well done!

We had to get electrical service run to a new hot tub on our patio, and NXNW sent Todd and Wyatt to do the work. The job was probably not the most pleasant, due to some of what we were looking for, but those guys dug in and crushed it! A large part of the job was to get into the crawlspace beneath my 30 year old house, and I didn’t envy them for it, but Todd knocked it out with a smile and a great attitude! The work the guys did was technically and aesthetically superb, and they did it all while remaining friendly, upbeat, and very polite. Wyatt is still new to the trade, but I could see that he was competent and energetic, and even had to customize a piece for a section of cable. If I ever need any further electrical, I intend to call NXNW, and I intend to request Todd and Wyatt! Highly recommended!
