I hired Sweets Chem-Dry to clean three area rugs and two runners, specifically because they guaranteed the complete removal of pet urine odor. They emphasized that their offsite cleaning process would achieve results other companies couldn't deliver with onsite cleanings, so I paid a premium for their service. Unfortunately, I’m deeply disappointed with the outcome.

The rugs were picked up and returned several weeks later, still damp and—most importantly—still smelling of urine. I waited until they fully dried, but the odor remained. When I contacted the company, they offered to re-clean them. I agreed, though this meant another lengthy wait and dealing with pick-up and drop-off again. The second time, the rugs were dry upon return, but still smelled strongly of urine—now mixed with an overpowering fragrance from the cleaning solution that was so intense it caused headaches in my household.

I asked to speak with a manager, and Rob informed me they don’t offer refunds, but could clean the rugs again. At this point, the rugs had already been gone for over two months, and I had no confidence a third cleaning would fix the issue. I declined and asked again for a refund due to their failure to meet the original guarantee. Rob said he’d look into making an exception and follow up with me. That was over two weeks ago, and I haven’t heard back.

The rugs have now been in my home for several weeks, and they still smell like urine covered by heavy fragrance. I feel let down not only by the poor results, but also by the lack of follow-through from management. I would not recommend Sweets Chem-Dry if you're looking for reliable odor removal or responsive customer service. They did not meet their guarantee, and their process caused more frustration than resolution.

They were quick and the carpets smelled and looked great afterwards! Appreciate them doing the stairs and even coming out to FG! Super nice and efficient!
Only reason we did not give 5 stars is because all of the stains they cleaned all lifted to the surface again so the carpet looks dirty again ☹️

I was very impressed with the cleaning our business had received from Robert, I called on 7/29 mid-afternoon and requested a cleaning for two area rugs, and they had arrived by 11:30 the following day. Not only was Robert speedy, and productive but he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the services he provided and the work that was done. The service provided was very budget friendly and the rugs were sparkling clean after he left. Great experience start to finish from Rob answering the phone, to Robert executing this service, thank you both!

Love my Cleaners! I capitalized their title because it IS a title to me -- they are the best, and they use only non-toxic, biodegradable products. Willing to tweak the cleans when I'm having guests or a family member is ill and staying home, or whatever, and they give me a window of arrival the day before they come so I know when to expect them. Very flexible and follow directions well (there are a lot of changing projects to clean around and not touch in my house!) and on the one occasion when they did break a small item (in over 10 years of service! it was a glass soap dish) they offered to pay for a replacement. Always cheerful when our paths cross and open to last-minute changes if they have time in their schedule. Fully recommend Maid Brigade to anyone!

Maid Brigade of West Portland does a fabulous job for us every other week. We get an arrival time frame the day prior to their visit. They are prompt, efficient and thorough. Generally it is the same team who cleans each time, so they have come to know our house and routines. I highly recommend their service.

Hiring Maid Brigade was the best thing I have done for myself in years!

I begin having health problems several years ago, and every time I cleaned my home on weekends I felt so exhaust, weak and my pain would worsen. I decided to look for a person to come clean. I kept seeing ads for Maid Brigade so I gave them a call. Joe was great to speak with and he came to my home for an estimate. They offered me a great price that I could afford (very comparable to what I would have to pay an unlicensed person through craigslist). The crew that comes and cleans does an outstanding job!

The best things about Maid Brigade is: 1) I can trust them and know my home and valuables are safe. 2) Their service is reasonably priced. 3) They do an outstanding job every time. 4) I get to come home to a clean home after work 5) I don't have to worry about the cleaning or about the pain and exhaustion I would feel from cleaning.

Maid brigade's move out cleaning service did a phenomenal job on my duplex! I was pleasantly surprised at every aspect from the office manager's service to the quality of clean I received. It was cleaner than when we had moved into it.

The quote was slightly lower, and the cleaning took a bit more time than was expected, but I completely understood that after 4 years in a small space with kids, it was a tough job. Even still, Mike was apologetic, courteous and met me halfway on pricing.

I would absolutely recommend Maid Brigade based on my experience!

I have been using Maid Brigade of West Portland for years. They are fantastic! Thorough, efficient, kind, and highly trustworthy. Team 9 is the best!

We've been using Maid Brigade since 2007. They always do a great job. They're always happy to work with us if we have special scheduling issues to work around (a guest arriving, carpets being cleaned, etc.), or if I'd just like to know when the team is arriving. We usually get the same crew, and they're very attentive to the way things work in our house. The other crews fill in occasionally and do a fine job.

Elizabeth and Blanca from Team 8 do an excellent job and are very fast, kind, and professional.

Team 2 has given me exemplary service including attention to detail, addressing any concerns I may have and their friendliness.

My Maid Brigade teams over the years have been efficient, well-guided, and always trustworthy. Every now and then there have been minor mishaps, but I was always told with handwritten, sweet apologies from the workers themselves, left on my table, in full view. Mike always followed up on any little detail or question.

This company could not provide better service. Adjustments to schedules are always worked out. My home always looks cleaned, smelling fresh due to green products, and cared for when a team leaves.
