Home Services reviews in Tualatin, Oregon

I've been very pleased with this business for over 20 years, but I'm VERY disappointed today. The S&H website says it is open until 5:00 pm today and for all weekdays. When I arrived at 4:20 pm and got out of my car to pay, a person drove up and said "We're closed." I explained that I had relied on the website for open hours and had an urgent need to empty my trailer because I was going out of town and others needed to use it. She reiterated: "I'm sorry, we're closed." I had to turn around with a full load and head back to my yard. Either correct the web site or explain to your staff the hours you are open!

I have been a long-time S and H customer, but recently began taking my yard debris to the Metro Oregon City Transfer Station. On a recent load (5x8 utility trailer), I was quoted $50 to drop at S and H. I ended up going Metro where I was charged $19. If you are like me and Oregon City isn't too far out of the way, it may be worth the drive. The transfer station also has longer hours: 7 am to 6pm daily in the Winter (including on the weekends). In the Summer these hours expand until 7 pm.

They usually have the bark we need for our landscaping projects. The staff are really nice and helpful!

Best prices for almost anything, used to go to Metro in Oregon City, but they over charge compared to here. Not only is it a landscaping business, but they also sell high quality meat products and fresh eggs (which are to die for, I will never buy them at a grocery store again!) And everything is local from the owners farm! Costumer service was outstanding, especially from the 2 ladies that are always there. Everyone has been so helpful the times I've come in. HIGHLY SATISFIED!!!!! Thank you to everyone at S&H!

I've been here three times - once to dump concrete chunks, once to dump concrete, some brick pavers, and some small logs, and once to dump two old toilets. I haven't been to any other recycling dump like this one so I can't provide any comparison, but I'm really glad that there's recycling for this kind of stuff, and it was so convenient to be able to take diverse materials all to one place! It's also very easily accessible from the interstate. The staff were attentive and I was in and out each time very quickly, including unloading.

Expensive recycling! They charged $30 to recycle one wooden pallet that I brought in and dropped off. It didn't have any damage and could be re-used as is. They will probably grind it up into bark chips that they will sell anyway, yet charge that much for brining in material that they will use. Next time, I'll go somewhere else.

Meandering wooden pathway over a rock bed makes it kind of hard for some older or disabled people to navigate around also some steps involved. They make some beautiful hanging baskets but unfortunately, way too pricey for me.

I'm a lifelong nursery aficionado and this one is simply spectacular! I can't begin to describe the vast array of glorious plants, baskets, art and so much more. You MUST go see it for yourself!!!

This is the most amazing garden center. Imagine building a garden center in a state park. Knowledgeable and kind staff. I was greeted and offered an complimentary and excellent iced latte upon arrival. It really is the most unique and exceptional garden center.

Absolutely love this place! The people here were so friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the free latte! 😊

It's as if you walked into another world. Tucked away in a neighborhood. Pathways leading to every corner at The Garden Corner. Very helpful and enjoyable staff. They serve complimentary lattes! Great entertainment with the chickens and pups. This little guy's name is Naito. Hope the spelling is correct.
I'm very happy to live so close by. -
If there was an area for some live background music, stargazing, (small) bonfire, camp stew, and interesting tales to hear, I would stay all day. This is one of my favorite nurseries...it is unassuming, yet sophisticated, with the most stunning presentation of plants and art. Well done!

Ryan met me in the parking lot of the Garden Corner floral paradise. I told him my plan for a pair of hanging baskets. After a few questions answered briefly, we constructed two beautiful arrangements. I am thoroughly impressed with this place and their personnel.

A beautifully laid out nursery with healthy and rare find plants. Going there is like visiting a tourist garden, you feel like you're in paradise. Prices are comparable to other nurseries. They have the world's largest flower basket.

Well, this is my new favorite place. As soon as we arrived we were served lattes in little pot-shaped cups to drink while we wandered through the almost overwhelming selection of plants. They offer pre-made hanging baskets or you can put one together yourself. You can even bring your own pots and use their potting station (with free dirt!) to plant your pots. This was a revolution for me, as I don't have a good spot to play in the dirt at my apartment. I ended up going home to get my empty pots and bringing them back to The Garden Corner to fill them up!

Friendly owner, great, knowledgeable staff. When the sun comes out I take my daughter to the local nursery's and wander around imagining what I will grow next. I really enjoy the beautiful large scale displays of hanging baskets and intricate topiary.

This place is a hidden gem, so glad I found it. It's so beautiful, the woman that helped us was amazing, brought us free lattes in cute little pot mugs, and answered all our questions. Can't wait to come back in the spring and see all the flowers!

The Garden Corner is a must see experience if you are in the area. This nursery has the heart and soul of the team there and it shows. My wife is an wheel chair and she really enjoyed the wide paths and her ability to really get around and enjoy the garden center. Their staff is bright and friendly. They are my go to place for hanging flower baskets. I drive over 12 miles from Southeast Portland to get them.
This year we tried to save some time and bought some baskets form a prominent garden center in southeast and we were sorely disappointed. They were not properly set up and they had root rot within a week or two. After the great experiences with garden corner we were sore disappointed. I would recommend their quality plants every time. -
Beautiful selection of quality plants, and thoughtfully organized by color and variety. This is a great gardening shop to explore for creative and fun ideas to add to your own garden oasis. Wide selection of flowers, plants, and containers. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

I love going to visit The Garden Corner but at the time of this review we are encouraged to social distance. I am beyond impressed with The Garden Corner's rush to make more products available online with quick free delivery to local areas. I'm very appreciative of this business adapting so quickly and making sure every customer has the opportunity to do one of life's most rewarding things, gardening.
