Paving Contractor reviews across the US

I found Pave Tech on a list from the City of Cambridge. Eddie was so easy to deal with - responsive to my texts, answered all my questions - and was significantly more reasonable than the other bids I had received. We had to wait for them to be available but it was worth the wait. The crew was so professional - the Bobcat operator was just AMAZING - they worked straight through with no break. The job was on a main street in Cambridge, to tear up and replace a driveway that was asphalt with concrete underneath and was more than 60 years old. The weather was not good, but they came in the morning and finished the job in one day, and did everything promised. After it was finished Eddie called to explain how to protect the new pavement and we chatted like we were old friends. I am so pleased.

Pave Tech has it all: technical expertise, good attitude, and the right equipment. They replaced our old, cracked asphalt with concrete pavers, and we love it. Eddie has good ideas and is responsive. Highly recommended.

We just had our driveway seal coated this week after having Pave Tech put in new driveway 2 years ago. Robin did a great job seal coating our driveway and was very neat with his edging work. We are very pleased with Pave Tech services and would highly recommend.

Eddie was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. He came out quickly for the estimate, explained everything clearly, and provided a detailed quote. I really appreciate Eddie’s communication and expertise. I will definitely reach out to him for future projects like walkway paving. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Eddie and the work crew at Pave Tech!
I am very happy with the work done at my home. The front steps replacement was extra difficult but time was taken to do it right. And the driveway along with tree removal...I couldn't be happier!

Really enjoyed working with Eddie and his team. Paving was efficient on site and Eddie handled all the necessary paperwork with the city quickly and smoothly. Looking forward to using our refreshed driveway for years to come.

I highly recommend Pave Tech. Eddie and his team were easy to work with, fast and did a great job sealing our driveway at a fair price.

Eddie and the pave tech crew were great to work with. We had them pave our driveway that had not been touched in 40 years. The final results were amazing and the whole process was super smooth. There was great communication and price was very reasonable. If you need paving or hard scape work done look no further - these guys are great.

Great people to work with. Called him for a new driveway since mine was getting old! Eddie and his crew were communicating every step of the way. Done professionally and done in accordance with State and Local Building Codes. The works looks amazing and we will definitely be using Pave Tech again!! Thank you!

My adventure with Pave Tech started in the Spring of 2022. I called to get an estimate for a new driveway installation.

That day, I reached out to no less than 5 companies. This was a Sunday. Within a few minutes, Eddie called back and said that he'd swing by the house to look at the existing driveway and take some measurements. Not next week, but this same day! Within a few weeks, Eddie and his crew came and ripped out the old driveway and installed a beautiful new asphalt driveway.

Fast forward to the Summer of 2023. I needed a protective sealcoat on the driveway. I called Eddie and he and his crew came out to do the job. Now I have a beautiful driveway that adds quite a bit of curb appeal and value to our home. I've used them twice in little over a year and am very pleased with the result.

I highly recommend these guys. Professional, quality work.

Maicon and his crew went above and beyond with our project. Will use them in the future!

This is a great outfit. They are fast and neat with better than average prices. They got our old driveway removed and new pavers installed in just three days. We couldn’t be more pleased.

The Solo Pavers Expert team did a great job paving our driveway - they worked quickly and efficiently, and it looks fantastic. Maicon was super professional and very easy to work with.

It is spring and time to think about installing your patio. Just wanted to let you know perfect time to have a Solo Pavers Expert install pavers for you. We had to wait until fall/winter so we excited to enjoy our first summer with the great job done on our installation. Maicon Cruz is courteous and always available to answer questions. Employees very good and efficient.

I called for a quote and was very impressed by the owner who listened to my request and informed me that they aren't an expert in the work I want to have done. I really liked the fact that he was so honest and forthright. So, if I ever have a project that are in their expertise, I will definitely give them a call.

My wife and I are renovating a small house in Alameda, including the yard, and the best experience of this little saga has been the work by Solo Pavers Expert (SPE). I'm not usually gushy, and I'm skeptical when I see too many "thrilled" reviews, but their work exceeded my expectations. Of four bids we got from contractors I found on the Belgard website, SPE was the lowest. They were terrific in all regards - great communication, attention to detail, clean up, and so on. Yes, like others note, Maicon was great to work with, and the crew chief, Will, is, as the kids say, the bomb.

Had complete backyard redone including removing existing cement patio, old lawn patch, and concrete walkways. Pavers were installed perfectly and sloped to carry all water to drainage system. Work completed as promised by a professional hardworking crew. After job completed everything left clean which included placing pots back in requested area.

They also beat the prices of others who gave quotes. Recommend most highly as the owner makes sure all is to your satisfaction and very fast response time for communication. Will be using them again for the next step in the project.

We had a great experience with Maicon- he was responsive, and communicated clearly throughout the project. His crew got the job done quickly and without any hassle. I highly recommend Solo Pavers Expert.

My husband and I are very pleased with Solo Pavers! From the start Maicon was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We needed some drainage and Maicon explained exactly what they were going to do. We liked what he said and their estimate was very competitive compared to other companies we received estimates on. I'm so happy we decided to go with them. The crew worked very hard and was very efficient. We had our driveway, walkway to the front door and side walkway completed in just 3 days! They even made a little path for our cats to get to the cat door! We can't believe how fast they worked! The crew was also very clean. Everyday they left the work site very clean. We highly recommend them!

I got three quotes for my backyard hardscape that included removing an old, buckling wood deck and retaining wall on a steep backyard incline just above a recently plastered swimming pool. Solo Pavers was the best quote but Maicon (owner) was by far the easiest to talk to and took the time to really explain the job so that I would understand the cost and the scope. He was honest and forthright about all of my concerns.

The finished job speaks for itself (see included photos) but what I can't show you is the respect the entire crew had for my home from front yard to backyard and including my barking dogs! I was able to talk and ask questions to crew leaders while they worked and if I had any concerns they quickly addressed them to my complete satisfaction. Today after they finished the final touches they washed off the entire hardscape including the old deck, power washed the STREET and my driveway where they had earlier staged gravel, dirt and the pavers as well as other supplies.

Very impressive drainage system installed as part of the process! Highly recommended!

I can't recommend Maicon and his team more highly. I had a 2,000 square foot driveway replacement project that included tough access, tree removal, scheduling difficulties and a demanding neighbor. Maicon took all the twists and turns in stride and delivered an eye-poppingly gorgeous project. My neighbors keep stopping bye to rave about the huge curb appeal improvement since we installed paving stones in our driveway, backyard, car park and walkway. For such an expensive project, finding a contractor that you trust and will flex to your changing preferences as a job progresses is incredibly important. Maicon as the owner and Will as the super on the job kept up informed and at ease throughout the week of construction. Stop searching for the right installer and just call Solo Paver Experts now.
