Very happy with the crew at Sky High Services for the work trimming back trees at my house and caring for a diseased tree. Everything looks great and the crew was so careful with clean up after the job. It was a pleasure to do business with this company.

Working with Sky High and directly with Mike was a breeze. Mike was clearly knowledgeable and walked me through exactly what they were going to do and why. Their quote came in on time and they completed the job like professionals earlier than we had originally scheduled. I would say one of the best tree removal people i have a deal with. And definitely the best equipped.
The main positive points:
1. Best equipped crew i have seen so far! It is even amazing to watch how they work and they do not mind us doing it!
2. Their sky lift is a great device allowing crew to work in safety even in the most cramped environment.
3. When shopping for this job i contacted several arborists and Sky High were the only team allowed me assistance in selling logs after the job is done. They handled everything: preparing logs for sell (cutting to the right length), placing into the right place for sawmill truck, ordering the sawmill truck, handling all communication with the sawmill. Just impressive.
4. They were very flexible in what stumps will be ground and what not. In our job we wanted to remove and grind different trees. This request was accommodated.
5. They done cleaning after the job for free. We have not agreed on that and i specifically said we will clean tree limbs ourselves. Yet tree limbs were moved out of their free will. Could not complain at all.
6. Our land has a lot of stones in the soil which makes grinding job "inconvenient" due to high chance of collision with stone. There was no complains about that and no price hike due to the poor soil.

The neutral points (can be treated as both positive and negative):
1. The stump on the neighbor property was ground by mistake instead of the correct one. It was not asked for and neighbor was not notified of this activity in advance. On the other side he wanted to deal with it nevertheless. So all good :)

The negative points:
1. It took almost 1.5 months (4 days short) to get log's money. I actually expected it to turn around a bit faster. But there were no broken promise. And my expectation i told nobody in advance is only my problem.

I reached out to Sky High for removing a large tree close to the house and pruning a large limb overhanging the house. The team was incredibly professional and efficient, completing the job in a timely manner without compromising on the quality of their work. Unlike other tree removal companies, they used a spider lift to perform the work which made it easy for them to get into the backyard and left the yard in good condition.

From the first contact to the finish of the job, we got great response and excellent price and pro work. My husband is very invested in our lawn and these guys did an outstanding job keeping it looking fine by putting mats down as the machinery rolled along to remove a crabapple, and trim a maple next to the house. They did a great job with the stump grinding too. One important note is they even spotted and treated carpenter ants in that maple . The other tree company we contacted was way more pricey and didn’t catch that critical detail. We are very happy and will use them again!

A month ago, I requested the removal and stump grind for several bushes and a mature spruce, a removal and replacement for an arbor vitae, and the planting of several laurels and Japanese cedar. James and his team was quick to respond, quick to work, professional, provided recommendations for plant selection and plant care, and everything has been great. Highly recommended.

James is an honest man. I received a few quotes before I decided to go with his company, Sky High services (Veteran’s owned). James charged us basically half of what a big company would’ve charged us. Cost is very important to us, especially that I am a stay at home mom and James was very fair. Sky High Services removed a large tree close to the house and trimmed our very large elm in the back yard. They arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally, did a fantastic job with the trees and left the job site looking spotless. James met with me beforehand to review the work we needed done and address our concerns with the large tree looming over my neighbor's fence. He provided a very competitive quote and followed up same day with the written estimate. We are very happy with the service they provided and would reuse them in the future!

We sustained significant damage to several trees following a storm. Sky High Service quickly responded with a competitive quote that included clean out of a nasty thorny vine. James and the Sky High crew did an excellent job taking down my 30+ ft Silver Maple that had tons of carpenter ant damage and was becoming a safety hazard.

James was quick to give a quote and take care of the problem. He and his crew arrived on time , were friendly and were able to take of the whole project, including stump grinding in one day. It was quite the feat but they lived up to the challenge while being safe and respectful to both my property and my neighbors (especially because this tree overhung 3 other properties). Best of all at the end of the project, they had even taken some sticks and yard waste that weren't even part of the job. It's the little things like that, that really go the extra mile.
