Heater shut down in this low temperature. Colin showed up early and got our heat running quick. Great service !! Would recommend Hughes again for any hvac service!!

I recently had trouble with my HVAC unit ( blew room temp air only. The company I normally use for over a decade came out and diagnosed it a faulty TXV valve ( if I remember correctly) after 10 quick minutes and promised me a call back the next day for scheduling and repair. I followed up after 2 days of hearing nothing and left a voicemail , still no call back.

After 5 or 6 days I contacted Hughes Heating and Air and the receptionist was very pleasant and professional. I was very impressed with the tech ,Michael, who was very knowledgeable and took the time to look into the issue. Turns out it was a small leak which needed fixing and system refilling, not a faulty valve. Almost a week later the system is running great.

I am very satisfied with Hughes and will be using them for regular maintanance and all HVAC needs going forward. Thank you

Hughes was fantastic!. From scheduling service until the repair was completed, they were on top of it. Mike (technician) came and diagnosed the issue quickly and was able to repair quickly as well. Great experience from start to finish.

Awesome service! Woke up in the middle of the night with no heat. Called early, got a call back and Colin came out before 10:00 am! Colin got right to it, found the problem and fixed it. Very professional and will definitely use Hughes again for any HVAC needs I might have in the future.

It was wonderful having a text notification when he was on his way and he was promptly on time at the start of the window I was given, not the end. I have a dog and a baby in the house and they were very courteous of being in and out. The work was quick and they cleaned up from all their work wonderfully.

as always when I call Hughes for a problem they do their best to come right out here to help me. I do want to give thanks and praise to my technician. Colin, who has been here to help me through the years. He is such a sweetheart. He explains everything in detail to me what he did. He always goes above and beyond to help me. My experience with Colin was excellent he was very knowledgeable as far as our yearly heater maintenance as well as putting in a new thermostat. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get your heater worked on.

Just got a complete hvac system replaced. My 23-year-old system had enough. Matt discovered a problem with the system that others might not have even noticed. I knew something wasn't right, but they figured it out. So they made all the changes, and the new system seems to be working perfectly with a much improved airflow. The guys that did the work were great and did an excellent job. The office had great communication as well. Everything was done in a very timely manner, and no problems.

Service was done quickly but not too quickly. Even though the heater is on the newer side it sounded better than before, I hope that means that it will be more efficient.
Overall work was done in good time and I have great faith in the technician and his ability. That’s important now

I always have a great experience when using Hughes. They were punctual, fast, and reasonably priced.
Taco valve was replaced

We called Hughes for emergency service and technician Colin called back promptly. He talked me through lighting the pilot over the phone but it wouldn’t light. He said he would be there in 15 minutes and was true to his word! He got the heater up and running. Colin and Hughes are the best.

Hughes is by far, the best contractors I’ve ever worked with. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and true masters of their trade. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and completed in a more than reasonable timeframe. They walked us through each step of the install, answering any questions we had and explained them in ways that we could easily understand.
We are completely satisfied with the final product of our brand new Carrier AC system which they installed from scratch. Our 4 bedroom 2 bath house had no existing duct work or cooling system besides window AC units for the 2000sqft space we needed cooling in.
We highly recommend using Hughes and will definitely work with them again should the need arise!

I was extremely pleased with the level of service that was provided by all the technicians from Hughes heating and cooling. Mason walked me through everything and was able to repair my oil heater quickly. I also want to thank Matt for being upfront and honest with his initial assessment of the unit letting me know that it wasn’t necessary on replacing.

My heater burning real hot and soot and smoke was all over my garage this morning. I called Hughes Heating and Air Conditioning this morning and they were able to have a serviceman here to repair by 10 am . Colin was polite and very informative. He explained what he was doing each step of the repair and gave helpful advice for keeping the heater running efficiently. I would highly recommend Hughes for your heating needs.

The entire experience with Hughes was nothing shorter than amazing. From the initial estimate to working with everyone in the back office for the set up to the day of the install. The entire staff was amazing! Bonus of all the estimates we received there’s was the most affordable. We highly recommend Hughes!

I had a great experience with Hughes. They came out the same day and checked my heating pump, and the technician Mike was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. They Fixed the problem the same day.

This is our second time using Hughes. The first was to replace our traditional A/C compressor with a heat pump and new air handlers. This time was to finish the job and remove our oil burner that was only being used for hot water. The coil went bad and replaced with a 50 Gal Hot water tanked heater.

Service was outstanding both times. Crews arrived on time, kept me informed and completed the work in the time frame provided. No mess to clean up after they were done.

Very happy with the heat pump (we do use pellet stove as our primary heat source). To early to give thought on the new hot water system.

Hughes heating and air conditioning are the best in the area! We had issues with our heating system on one of the coldest days of the year. We knew they would be super busy but they came to fix our unit right away. It was much appreciated as we have a 1 year old. They were super friendly and made sure to explain everything they were doing. We will most definitely trust them again in the future!

Used Hughes for the first time yesterday and it will definitely not be the last time. What an amazing experience. Unlike the larger companies from my initial call. They were professional on the phone. They kept me in the loop with the technician’s arrival. Mike our technician was knowledgeable and extremely professional. My furnace wasn't staying ignited and the thermostat was wonky.
It's been years since we did maintenance for our heater but technician Colin was understanding, completely non judgemental and got to work immediately.
Turns out, the furnace was just extremely dusty and needed a full system cleaning. He was methodical, knowledgeable and gave advice how to better insulate the oil tank lines so the heater doesn't have to work so hard. He did a great job installing the new thermostat and cleaned up everything before he left.

Note: We had a service contract with another provider that did not do nearly as good work. They showed up twice a year and the heater would still crap out intermittently under their care. It got expensive and for mediocre service (which I thought would be largely the same everywhere), we cancelled and never looked back.

For not having any maintenance in about 6 years, the bill was not nearly as bad as I thought it be and we'll be using Hughes again for an annual clean up this coming summer!

100/10 stars. Give that man a raise!

100% call Hughes for help! I called at 8am today when I had no heat on a very cold day. Hughes got me an appointment for the same day at noon! Then you called and bumped me up as soon as you had a cancellation! Mike was phenomenal. I have a warm home again. I’m grateful for your quality business and service! 11/10! Completely recommend!!!
