Had major landscaping work done by McGlinn, including removal of two trees. Work was excellent, workers were polite and knowledgeable, cleanup was thorough, and cost was very reasonable.

We were in a pinch and needed some work done asap. I called and Linda responded so promptly and fit me into their busy schedule. They did an excellent job and I'd recommend McGlinn readily.

We really needed our walkway redone. I happened to see a house in the next neighborhood that had a walkway that was exactly what I wanted. Not only was Linda polite, helpful, and responsive, she went out of her way to drive by the walkway with me to see it for herself since I couldnt visually explain it clearly. The crew arrived, was courteous and professional and made quick clean work. I couldnt have asked for better! I HIGHLY recommend them for ALL your land and hardscaping needs!

Charles and his wife Linda are awesome. I’ve been the mailman for their business for over 6 years and they have been nothing but great to me. Always offering me water and sometimes pizza for lunch. Over the years I have seen some of the work they have done around the area and have been very impressed.

Very happy with the work done by Charlie and his crew. After lots of outreach for quotes, Charlie was one of only a few that got back to me. Needed four trees removed and stumps ground down. Trees removed in one afternoon, stumps ground down the following afternoon – done – no mess. Quick and easy, reasonable rates, glad we went with Charlie and his crew.

Over the past 6 years, we've worked with Charlie and Linda to regrade our yard, take out trees, put in a paver patio, and most recently, put in a new front walkway. We've been nothing short of impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the work. They're busy because they're very good at what they do.

I am a repeat customer with this business. A few years back Charlie reshaped the back yard after our deck was built. He also took care of a drainage problem I had which was causing water in my basement. I haven't had the problem since.
And this spring (2021) they build us a great walkway from the back of our garage and fixed a big mess that some other workers had left in our yard. This involved about 10-12 yards of topsoil, shaping and seeding. It turned out very well.

Charlie and his crew replaced our front and rear walkways and added a retaining wall in our front yard. The projects turned out great and completely transformed the look of our home. We are very pleased with the quality of work, the attention to detail and their friendliness and professionalism. Should we have hardscaping or landscaping needs in the future, we would definitely contact them again.

We had a paver stone wall installed and couldn't be happier with it. It accents our house beautifully and is very well built. As I watched them put this wall together I was amazed at the craftmanship, expertise and patience they had in putting it together. Charlie and Linda are great people to deal with and you can tell they take a genuine interest in you as a customer.
We liked them so well - we are having them come back to put a paver walk and shed pad to match the wall as well as drainage work for excess water gathering.

We have been long time customers of Charles McGlinn landscaping and every job Charlie and his team have done for us is executed perfectly. He has solved some of our most complex land/hardscaping and excavation problems with solutions that work and also look awesome! He is very creative, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I don't typically leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so because of how happy we are with the outcome of our lawn.

After our new build we were left with a lawn that needed desperate help. Between the water running onto it from the neighboring property (staying there for weeks), the overall poor soil conditions and the lack of grass growth we reached out to Charlie for some help. Charlie came out to assess the lawn quickly and gave us a quote. Several months later Charlie and his crew came out and began excavating the soil, creating a swale, pitching the soil in the proper direction that drains perfectly and added seed etc. Within two weeks we saw new growth and over the next few months the lawn was filling in nicely. We were provided instructions on how to care for the lawn going forward. With a little TLC, some lime and lots of water we now have a full, plush green lawn and we are the envy of the neighborhood. He said patience, watering and maintenance are key factors and he was 100% correct. Thanks team Charlie for a beautiful lawn! Throughout the entire process (from our initial conversation to the end) we experienced professionalism and perfection through and through!!!

Charles and his team helped us with a rather complex landscaping project this past fall. They helped us take down several pine trees that were encroaching on our house and kept dropping large limbs close to our home. They removed stumps and graded to ensure water flow was maintained as designed. Charles was very communicative throughout as he managed a ridiculous workload following the hurricane. He always kept us informed of timing for work he was planning and next steps. Costs were more than fair and the job was completed perfectly. Really appreciate the attention to detail! Will absolutely call on again and refer!

Highly recommend McGlinn Landscaping. Charlie & Linda provided prompt, professional service with a family touch. I needed a section of our yard leveled at the start of summer and Linda fit us into Charlies hectic schedule. The crew, Dan & Alonso, could not have been nicer – very professional and courteous. What I liked most, Charlie met with our neighbor prior to the work starting to discuss access, and even stopped by halfway through the job to ensure the work met his expectations – the owner checking in even on a small job, demonstrates his investment in the work that carries his name.
