I highly recommend this company!!!!!! We have used this company several times. They came out right away when we had a tree fall on a power line. They were able to get trees down quickly without any damage. Due to our home being on a hill they couldn’t get the trees taken away due to weather, but they did alert us several times they would be back. Job well done. I seriously cannot stress enough, this company is very professional, attentive, and customer driven! Thank you so much !

Joe and is his team are fantastic. Quick estimate, great price (compared to others). Work was scheduled within two weeks of proposal acceptance. Proposal sent via email which is convenient and you can except a proposal right online. Work crews were impeccable and respectful of the property. Overall experience was outstanding and I could not be happier. I appreciate the fact that they're still professionals out there willing to do a great job.

Joe McIlvaine tree service was excellent. They responded right away, sent me an estimate then quickly got me on the schedule within a week. I had 3 large trees pruned and a 40 foot maple removed.

Not only were they prompt and respectful, they're prices are very reasonable for any budget. The crew that came out were friendly and helpful.

We had tree trimming completed last week. What a beautiful job!!! I was called when they arrived as they wanted to reconfirm what was agreed upon. We had two sections (front and rear of house) quoted and Brian would call as each was completed to make sure everything looked as we wanted it to. I highly recommend, and will use them again!!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who was having issues with their trees. The process was very simple estimate was quick and competitive the work was done professionally on time and when they left, my property was spotless. I was so impressed that I’m having them come out to give me an estimate for some landscaping.

I love when businesses actually leave me pleased with their service, enough so that I would definitely use them again. I was impressed from the interaction at the estimate (fair) given by Joe himself, to then his crew and their attention to detail. Properly angled branch cuts and everything. It matters! No gaping holes anywhere in sight. It’s all connected to the whole in the end. Like many things in life. Jon, Kyle and Ronaldo - he was the brave one up in the branches - all communicated well with me and listened, resulting in an aesthetically-pleasing result overall. Seriously, my trees looked so much more attractive post trimming than many of the others in my neighborhood. Not everyone is as competent. Know I am a gardener and rather picky. Cleanup was as you would expect with such a big job and stuff flying all over the place. They did a decent job though. You must be realistic and accept that you will always find a few items here and there to still pick up. Finally, knowing what you’re doing and being good at it makes all the difference in both the short- and the long term.

The tree crews are very efficient & knowledgeable. They thinned out and elevated the Oaks & Sweet Gum trees in our rec center. The finished cuts were flawless Shigo cuts as per arboricultural standards. I can always tell if trees are tended to by pros. Their work left no doubts.

Very difficult to schedule an appointment. They eventually came out and treated my tree and I was NOT notified. I called to see when they were coming out and was told they already did. I had questions and was charged a service again for next Spring 2026.
I told them I may not live here or this tree will die. I am still waiting for my refund.
I would not recommend them. Their customer service was terrible.

Absolutely amazing crew! polite, hard-working, very knowledgeable well trained, right people right equipment. absolutely phenomenal job. Above and beyond! If you're looking for professional ,efficient, and timely, beautifully done tree work, these are your guys.

While they were moving a bucket truck over my sidewalk, that truck's weight broke a few sections of concrete. They repaired what had been broken in under two weeks and reseeded the lawn areas that were also destroyed by the concrete repair work. No arguing, just honest action. Oh, and the high-level tree trimming that I wanted was done fast and to my satisfaction. Very professional team. I highly recommend them.

I had a dead maple that was hard to reach in the backyard. They did a full removal and stump grinding. Both crews were quick, safe, and knowledgeable. It was more affordable than most other companies for my tree. One company wanted to lift it out with a crane and quoted me double what I paid with this company. Communication was average, but not bad. They came all the way out to Pottstown, and if my other tree dies I will likely go with them again. I would recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

Scott McIlvaine and his crew came out to take some very large trees down at my property and I was extremely impressed. These guys were good, they had all the equipment needed for this service- crane, bucket trucks, multiple guys. Efficiently got the trees down and taken away. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tree service! Thanks guys!

WoW 🤩 !! What a great service !! Roberto and his crew of two great guys came out here and gave us excellent service !! They are efficient and a great team !! From the beginning they introduced themselves and we talked about what we wanted done. They gave us some expert advice and their recommendations. They efficiently worked and you could see they cared about how “ Your “ trees 🌲 looked. They cleaned up and we were really impressed, They did an excellent job !!!

Communication from this office is first rate. Felix and his staff did an incredible job with 7 trees on our property that either needed trimmed or cut down. They were even able to get "the spider" in our backyard to work on a 40 foot oak tree that was in dire need. Each worker was courteous and professional and did a wonderful job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND **Update 5/11/23 We had a huge section of a Pear Tree snap off in recent storm. Call them and they had someone working in the area and sent right over after that job was finished. Again 1st rate service, attention to detail and clean up ***Update 8/2/23 Since first using McIlvaine, we have maintained them as our go to tree service. They are always on time, professional and simply the best! Our forty-foot oak needed some attention and we once again called Joe. We were so glad to see Feliz, the king of "the spider" as crew chief. They got right to work and then "Tarzan" Hector, took to the trees. They did everything and then some to trim out all the dead branches, shape the tree and didnt stop until they were happy with it.
