All reviews for Solid Oak Tree Service

The guys at Solid Oak did a fantastic job cutting up the huge black locust that was uprooted in my backyard. I highly recommend this company!

What a flashback, working with the team at Solid Oak was like working with a company back in the early 2000s where customer service mattered much more. From the first call it was a shocking experience as an actual human answered the phone without any annoying phone prompts and they told me when to expect someone to stop by for a quote. They explained the timeline to me as they were at an emergency job, they arrived when they said, they were very professional in the quoting process giving me a quote on paper at that time and then a digital copy via email the next morning. The price was very reasonable and because of how they handled everything I didn't even care to get other quotes. I signed the quote and the first nice day after that they scheduled the actual job. While on-site to handle the job, they again were as good as it gets. From taking care of my property while taking the trees down (I have an old fence that I gave them permission to remove a panel to get their vehicles in place and they took excellent care of it and put it back just as it was). While working on the trees they just talked to me about the situation and gave me info about the trees that I was having taken down and they were clearly very knowledgeable. They even cleaned up my yard and had it in better shape than when they arrived. I can't recommend them enough.

Solid Oak was excellent! They came out right away to evaluate several trees on my property that have been threatening my house for years. They talked me through their recommendations and quickly sent over a quote that offered more services for a lower price than several competitor quotes. I live in a heavily wooded area with very tall trees that are not easily accessible from the road. Not a problem for these guys - they removed 4 trees in total and cleared out deadwood from several others. Very communicative through the whole process. I'll be calling them back every year!

Great company great rates! By far one of the easiest experiences I have had doing business with. Great communication. Dave kept me informed till job was done!.

They are the best of the best around Pittsburgh area! I obtained three quotes. While one was terribly high (2X higher), Solid Oak Tree Service’s quote was reasonable and affordable. David Jr. provided the cost estimate and led a highly skilled team to do a fantastic job. They removed all tall and gigantic trees within a few hours. The whole process was uneventful. I was very impressed by their work, professional and careful. Outstanding service! Highly recommended!! They are my No. 1 choice to provide tree removal service around this area.

This was our second time dealing with Solid oak. Great experience both times! They do everything they say they will and explain the process.
We had four very large trees removed with very minimal damage to our property. Theyre very careful and respectful of property.
We cant recommend them enough!

This company was absolutely amazing! The project was done as planned. They were on time , efficient and professional. I had a fun experience, just watching them work.

Solid Oak is Solid GOLD standard for quality of work, customer service and integrity. This outfit has the right people and the right tools to tackle the job according to contract/on time on budget. They addresses three huge trees on our lot. The crew was knowledgeable and cared about keeping our property protected but also ensured we’d have no issues for our neighbors. They performed safely and accurately throughout the cold long workday. They were as speedy as they could be while enduring freezing temperatures. Our lot was left cleaner than it had been in 30 years. Everyone loves that the dangerous trees are gone- especially the neighbors! #1 all around - when other companies scheduled estimates 3-4 weeks out- Solid Oak came within two days of my call with a professional quote. Total pros. Insured. Smart /efficient - we couldn’t be more happy and grateful for Solid Oak Tree Service.
