I buy my Christmas tree at this location every year year after year they're great good selection this year I bought a smaller than normal tree it was a tabletop tree and it was still shorter than the top of my head must have been only 4 feet tall perfect for this year.
-
My go to for annuals and perennials. Great selection and wonderful staff.
-
Always get our summer flowers here, many shrubs, and our Christmas Tree and greenery, wreaths, sometimes pricey but good variety
-
They have a large selection of plants ranging from decorative items to edible fruits. They even had pineapple and Carolina reaper pepper plants which I have never seen elsewhere before.
-
Great selection of flowers and vegetable garden plants. Not much in the way of herb plants.
-
For as much business as we give them no one even says hello. Brinkles, and Benders are much cooler nurseries to buy your plants!!! Better selection too.Go the extra couple miles.
-
Great selection. Found stuff there I couldn't find anywhere else.
-
They almost always have a great variety, healthy plants, and very reasonable pricing. The staff are always very personable and helpful as well.

First time here. The service and staff were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. The plants and flowers, I bought , are all beautiful and healthy. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Mc Tighe's is without a doubt the best garden nursery, bar none. Located in Glenshaw off of Route 8.They specialize in flowers and gardening from the months of April until October. Then at the Christmas Holiday they sell trees and a fantastic selection of Christmas flowers, decorations and wreaths.
You can also find a varied selection of garden supplies.. I would come with my mother as a young child to get our flowers to plant for the season. She has since passed, and I am 60 years old and still coming happily to McTighes. I will say that I have gone and tried other garden centers, and the big box stores, but they can't hold a candle to McTighe's. This is a decades long owned family business. Their knowledge of gardening and the flowers they sell is spot on. The selection is amazing. It is well worth the trip from anywhere to get all of your gardening needs met, and they have a wide and beautiful selection of Christmas trees to choose from.
Do yourself a favor and and try McTighe's. You will be happy you did. -
This is a family owned nursery with a very friendly staff. The limited space means limited product, but I've always found what I was looking for. I would say call ahead to make sure they have the products you are looking for, and if they do take advantage of their good prices.

One of the best garden centers in the area. A wide selection of annuals and perennials. Elephant ear plants, Japanese maple trees, giant coleus, all at affordable prices. Mr. McTighe even helped us load our car. GO HERE.

These guys are GREAT! Very knowledgeable on their flowers and vegetables. EXTREMELY helpful, pleasant to work with and they delivered my items that I could not fit in my Jeep....truly a fantastic place for your gardens!!

I have been to a lot of places that sell flowers. They have the best selection. Excellent. Try them you gonna like.

McTighes always has exactly what I'm looking for. Bought a lovely live Christmas tree last night. The staff was helpful in helping us choose the right one for us, trimmed it, bundled it up, and secured it to the car for no extra fee. We'll be back in the spring for flowers!

Beer and plants.... What more can you ask for?

Great staff, helpful, and very reasonable prices. Getting a Christmas tree this late in the year can be rough but they had a good range of sizes, varieties, and prices.
-
I like this place because it’s compact and they have everything you want and everything is well cared for until you buy it. The prices of course reflect this but you end up with a high quality garden item that lasts all season vs. a cheap Walmart hanging flower box that is dry and dies shortly after you get it.
We bought a lot of plants for the garden here as well as at Home Depot and there was a significant difference in the plants by the end of the season. The McTighes grew large and we had a great harvest, the Home Depot ones did alright but you could see the difference in the quality of McTighes -
Always has an excellent selection of vegetable plants, flowers, herbs and foliage. Prices are about average. Definitely a one stop shop for everything you need and a few things you didn't know you needed!

We've been customers of McTighes for over 30 years. We buy seedlings and plants in spring, and seasonal offerings, esp at Christmas time. We have bought our xmas trees there for 20+ years. However this year was an extreme disappointment. I understand the low stock of trees, but this years tree was bad. It must have been cut at least 4 to 8 weeks before our dec 12 purchase. Now 3 days after Xmas it is completely dried out. It never did absorb any water as I have been diligent with keeping the stand filled, even on the porch in a bucket b4 we brought it in on Dec 18. It's now a fire hazard. Our Frasier firs usually last 5 to 6 weeks without any drying. Not this one. After 2 weeks we have a dry hazardous tree. I cannot completely blame mctighes but whoever they purchased trees from this year ripped them and us off. This thing has to be deornamented and taken out this week. Worst tree we've ever had from mctighes. And at $17 per foot, I feel taken advantage of. I get the prices have skyrocketed due to corporate gouging and if the tree would stay fresh with proper care I'd accept the cost as part of inflation caused by corporate greed. But no. A dry tree from the start is unacceptable. I think we'll go elsewhere next year or cut our own down to ensure fresh quality. Really disappointed in mctighes old dry trees, exorbitant cost and a premature exit for our tree, which we usually keep up until mid January.

BEST place to get all of your seasonal decor. Huge selection, great prices, helpful staff. Also great backgrounds for Christmas card pictures or fall festivities. Parking is free right out front & off of route 8.
