We needed our rear deck replaced, so we called Stone Finish. They responded within an hour, and came over and gave us an estimate then. We now have our new deck. Fair price, excellent craftsmanship, and beautiful looking. Would recommend you call now!!!

Jason is a top notch, talented, respectful contractor. I received his name from a neighbor who was having him help them with multiple projects in their house. He helped us out with a small repair project quickly and timely. I will definitely call him for the next project that comes around. Small or big - he handles jobs with sincerity and skill.

I highly recommend his company and believe that his business is growing so well due to word-of-mouth recommendations.

Jason and his crew were highly professional and did an excellent job on my deck and steps for my back door. Jason himself was readily available via texts and calls to answer all my questions and concerns, which was a big plus for me, because communication was hard to come by with the 5-7 other companies I had contacted during the "busy season" to get this minor renovation done. I truly appreciated how quick he was replying to me all the time. The price was reasonable and on par with some of the other quotes I got and Jason did his best to get as close to my budget as possible. Jason's positive and friendly demeanor and overall work ethic sold me on his company and I would highly recommend him if you're looking to get some general construction work done on your house. I already have some other renovations in mind that I'll be contacting him for again soon.

Dealing with Jason Stone was a pleasure. He understood what I wanted and was open about the estimate and actual costs. His crew was friendly and thorough. The site was cleaned up daily and they did a remarkable job removing undergrowth. I highly recommend Stone Finish.

I highly recommend Stone Finish LLC. We have a commercial building that needed A LOT of work; no other company would even consider the project. Stone Finish LLC surveyed the property, gave a very reasonable estimate, and were prompt in starting the masonry repairs and painting. Everyone in their crew was thorough, professional and meticulous in their work. They really went above and beyond our expectations.

Jason and his crew just completed an interior renovation of the food pantry. We are so pleased with the end result. Working with them daily for a few weeks made us appreciate how talented and respectful they all were. The job site was cleaned up nightly. I found Stone Finish after talking to several other contractors. No one was able to do everything I needed for my historical building, which included repair and painting old wood soffit of a three story building, stucco repair, concrete work, and interior renovation. Stone Finish was the only one who was able to get all these done within a reasonable budget. Jason and his crew was very professional, responsive and yet not rushing through the job. I'm very happy with the results and would hire them for any future work.

We found Stone Finish via a Google search for highly rated, local general contractors, and we were NOT disappointed. I've dealt with a lot of companies along these lines, and despite the great reviews I was prepared for the worst. But Jay Stone and his crew came through for us in every regard. My initial phone message was returned quickly, and Jay was polite, friendly, and eager to accommodate our needs. He set up an appointment to come to us and take a look at all the jobs we needed taken care of (I was happily surprised when he said he could do this just a day after my call), he arrived exactly when he said he would (another shock) and carefully examined all the things we needed fixed while listening to my needs and concerns and asking me smart questions so he could clearly understood what we wanted. There were a lot of things that I thought would need to be scrapped and bought anew at great expense, but Jay was keen on trying to repair rather than replace when he could in order to save us money on all the work (yet another wonderful surprise). When he wasn't 100% sure about something- for instance, the amount of wood rot that might be inside a sealed garden window frame- he did not BS me or pretend he knew. He explained that he would have to take it apart to see the full extent of the damage and repairs needed, and gave me a good idea of what may or may not be involved.

The jobs we needed done ranged from very simple to major, and included installing towel racks, sanding and painting doors and railings, pressure-washing siding and shutters, painting and fixing shutters, filling in holes on the lawn where trees had been removed, patching a big hole in the ceiling (where it had been cut away by another company to do plumbing repairs), removing the old grout from two shower/bathtubs and re-grouting and sealing them, replacing water-rotted wall and tiles in a bathroom, filling in cracks in the house's foundation, and repairing a damaged screen door, it's frame, replacing the handle, and patching up the frame.

He and his crew are simply fantastic! They came when they said they would, they did the jobs quickly and efficiently, didn't leave a mess, and all for an extremely fair price. There are more things we want to get done, and we'll definitely be calling Stone Finish for these jobs because we're thrilled with their superb service. In this day and age it's not always easy to find honest, hard-working people/companies that take pride in what they do and have their customer's best intentions in mind, so upon finding these guys I want to shout from my rooftop to tell other people in need- Jay and his company will take great care of you!

I called Jason for plowing during this present snowstorm because he was recommended by a neighbor. I was treated with courtesy and prompt attention. The snow removal was great and he treated my 90 years of age with respect and kindness. I recommend Jason!

Stone Finish was prompt with getting in touch with me when I first reached out. Jay is responsive, has good ideas and his quality of work is great. He built us a new door in a day and sent a picture so I could see it, and also made custom wood threshold pieces for my upstairs hallway that came out great. He explains each project well so I understand what is happening. He puts a lot of thought into each job he is doing and wants us to be happy with the result. As someone who cares a lot about attention to detail and a job well done, I appreciate that!

Jason Stone, proprietor, is the best contractor I’ve ever encountered. A man of his word. Started with a detailed and thoughtful design plan was followed by a most professional and skilled crew who meticulously replaced an unsightly, painted and peeling bluestone floor in a sunroom with a new insulated floor. Very happy with the entire experience!

This is the second time that I hired Stone Finish and in both cases they exceeded my expectations. This job had multiple parts, including fixing a patio with broken slate, patching a short wall around the patio, replacing some large slate steps, leveling a path that had sunk in places, sanding, patching, and painting iron railings, and sealing gaps in a door frame.

The most complex part involved an external stairwell to the basement which had a retaining wall that had been pushed open by roots from a nearby tree. In addition, the ceiling over the bottom of the stairwell had deteriorated and would require significant work. I appreciated Jason's advice. He pointed out that rebuilding the wall and dealing with the ceiling would be a big, expensive effort and he proposed instead to fill in the stairwell as the basement door was not being used, a cost-effective solution that addressed both the wall and ceiling concerns.

The crew arrived on time, were polite and friendly, and completed the work in a timely manner. They went the extra mile, using some excess gravel with slate to shore up a path that I had mentioned on the side of the house. They also did a good job cleaning up when the work was done.

As for the stairwell, Jason worked out the steps needed (obtain permit, replace basement exterior door with cinder blocks, allow blocks to cure, remove concrete from stairwell bottom to allow drainage, and several more steps). It appeared to me that he worked well with the permit inspector and was able to proceed with the project in a timely fashion.

Throughout the project, Jason kept me informed of upcoming milestones and responded to my questions in a timely manner. At conclusion, he provided the materials receipts which helped make for a smooth conclusion.

I'm very happy with the results. Comparing the patio as it was to now is like night and day. The stairwell, a major source of concern, has been filled in and looks great with pebbles on the top layer. The railings, steps, and short wall all look so much better than before. So glad I hired them and I recommend Stone Finish without reservation.

Jason and his crew were so easy to work with from start to finish. Jason is very knowledgeable and had helpful ideas for the remodel of our master bath as well as fixing a problem in our kitchen. He work is high quality and fairly priced. We are super pleased with the work that Stone Finish did for us and we will be using them again!

I would highly recommend Stone Finish if you are considering updating the flooring in your home. We contracted them to remove our old porcelain tiles and install new vinyl plankings. They were very helpful with the entire project, including picking up materials from Home Depot for us. The work was also on budget and not too expensive. Our floors look great, now! Definitely give them a call, they are clearly experts in their fields and will provide great advice and support through the entire process.

Stone Finish Contractors are amazing! I am the administrator of a senior living community for the memory impaired in Wyncote. I first met Jason, Kevin and Geo when they came to the community to give an estimate on a major renovation project we were approved for with a $1.3 million dollar budget.
Stone Finish came in the day they were called and spent several hours in the community going over the project. Jason and his team were so knowledgeable and made such good suggestions that after they left the head of the renovation project and I had no doubt that if they came in with a reasonable bid, they would get the job. Not only was their bid the best, they completed the almost 6 month renovation under their original budget. Not an easy feat in a building that is well over 100 years old. As you can imagine, in a building this age, it seemed as if was a daily occurrence that they ran into some unexpected surprises, especially with the plumbing. Yet, they still came in under budget never cutting corners or sacrificing the quality of their workmanship.
Jason and Kevin were in the building every day to ensure things were running smoothly. They checked in with me on a daily basis to ensure I didn't have any concerns or unanswered questions. Nothing I ever asked of them was too much trouble.
The entire Stone Finish crew took great when it came to ensuring the safety of my residents. It can often be a challenge when attempting to redirect a resident with dementia, but the crew was so caring and patient with the residents.
I’ve recently had Stone Finish do some work in my house and they will soon be renovating my master bathroom. They have become my favorite “go -to” contractors for anything and everything.

Totally remodeled hall bathroom, combining it with half bath in the adjacent bedroom, which was separated by a wall. Jason and his crew put in new floor, new shower tile and tub, installed double vanity, lighting and GFIs and painted. They installed new trim and doors. One of the best new features of the bathroom is the custom linen closet they built. The new design, which connects the large bedroom and the hallway to the bathroom, looks like this is how it was meant to be. It's not just what they did, but how they did it. Jason is a perfectionist and the workmanship is first quality. I highly recommend.

Jason and Rick are professionals who put the customer first. The quality of their craftsmanship was excellent, they created a custom-built piece of furniture that was made to look like it was part of the home. Their communication throughout the process was clear and they always made themselves available. Changes to the plan, such as desired color or finishes were no issue, this company really makes it their objective to see to it that the customer gets the product they want and are happy with. To top it off, I had received quotes from three other contractors for this job, Jason and Rick achieved what my wife and I wanted for close to two thousand less than the nearest competitor. The workstation we had put in so my wife can work from home saves us space, makes us comfortable and has really opened up our downstairs. If you want a no hassle, straight forward contractor who works with you to get what you want, you want Stone Finish.

They took our basement from a miserable dungeon and turned it into a bright and usable room in our home. Where we once had our washer and dryer placed on broken wooden pallets, there is now practical and cozy laundry room. From start to finish, this team was efficient and hardworking. Since this was our first-time having home renovations done, we appreciated their answers/input to all of our questions and concerns.

I’m so happy with this company. My husband and I were looking to do a full redo of our tiny bathroom in our room. We had no experience with bathroom remodeling and was looking for a company who could guide us through the process. Stone Finish was by far the most helpful company and its owner, Jason, was amazing at communicating the whole process and what we needed. We bought all the materials and his crew executed the work. All of his crew members were kind, respectful, and amazingly talented. The main lead, Rick, was the absolute best! He essentially did all the work in the bathroom and I could not be happier. The work that he did to the bathroom was literal ART. You don’t find many people with this kind of talent and it’s obvious that he cares about his craft.
