Sabrina and her team have been cleaning our house for about 6 months now. So friendly and thorough. I can highly recommend. Scheduling is a breeze too.

Super kind and friendly - you can tell they really care about their work. They came and cleaned my new apartment before moving in and then I hired them to clean our old apartment when we moved out. We got our security deposit back and I 100% believe its because of the work their team put in.

M&D CleanStart is phenomenal! Their team is always professional, extremely detailed oriented, and hard working. They arrive on time and when they leave our house is always spotless. I would recommend them to all my friends and family in the Philadelphia area.

I have been using M&D Clean Start for several months now for our weekly office cleaning. I am incredibly pleased by the quality of service, responsiveness, and their willingness to work with our changing office schedule. Five stars isn’t enough!!!

Jakob was lovely to speak with and super professional when he came out for a consult! We demoed/renovated our basement to the foundation, and would definitely recommend giving these folks a call if you are in need of post-construction, or standard cleaning quotes/services.

I am so impressed with M&D Clean Start. I've been using them to clean my house for almost a year now. The owner, Melissa, checks in to make sure that they are doing everything right. I even got a text before my last cleaning - "Good morning, is there anything the team has been missing? Anything we could pay more attention to when we come today?" I highly recommend this wonderful company to anyone who needs a cleaner.

M & D Clean Start did a fantastic job deep cleaning my home. They paid such attention to detail and made my furniture shine. The kitchen looked great - they even cleaned inside the fridge and mircowave, which I was not expecting. My husband said the bathroom he uses downstairs has not ever looked this clean, in the 35 years we have been in our house. I am excited to have them start doing regular house cleanings for me.

I was looking for a cleaning company that can help my parents maintain their house and I'm so glad I found them. I called a few places in the area and they had the best rate. All I can say is wow! When I tell you they cleaned EVERY SINGLE SPOT of my parents house, organized things the best they could and were very professional. Highly recommend.

Melissa, Devon and their crew at M&D CleanStart are top notch. We have used quite a few home cleaning companies in the past and you cannot beat the cleaning you get with the price you pay with this company! They are exceptional cleaners at reasonable prices! Their office manager, Macy is incredible at executing communication and frequently checks in to ask where they are lacking in our home cleanings…and my response is always, “Nowhere, they’re phenomenal! Our house is always spotless and most importantly to us due to having a child with asthma…dust-free!” We have referred them to friends and family and they agree! M&D CleanStart is the best of the best and we look forward to decades and decades of wonderful cleanings in the future!

I hate to be the first bad review but here I am. Booked a cleaning for my apt. I had told them what I was looking for and even sent them a video walk through. We agreed on 2 cleaners between 12-1pm. A day or 2 before I was told a 3rd person was now being added. The day comes and 15 min past my scheduled time they call saying they can't find my place. He described my exact building, to which I told him that was it. As I was giving instructions on where to park he hangs up on me. Great start. I didn't like the 3rd person from the jump. He takes my bathroom and presumably bedroom and the other 2 women get the rest. Towards the end one of the women ask me to check everything however they aren't done cleaning. Another woman says she still has the floors and 1 room to do. I went about my business and one of the women says they are all set. What about payment I ask? She tells me to call the office. She mopped my floors to the door so I waited for the floors to dry so I didn't check anything out. Called the office, got a scheduling person, and was given another number to call. I get sent directly to VM. Left a message. Then I checked out their work.... the bathroom was poorly done. Shower head still had soap build up on it!! My entire counter was still wet with everutging put back on it wet. A cleaning rag was left on my TV stand. Then I get the bill... $180 for 75 min! So I wrote them back letting them know of the poor work with photos. She apologized, advised the cleaners may be 15 to 30 min late on arrival, and that she can send someone back out to address the issues. My feeling is, get it right the first time. You're a professional cleaning company! I decline the offer and accept a slight discount. But someone else chimes in saying she can try a different product to get the staining out. I indicated I had already cleaned it myself and attached photos. Her response "WOW what did you use?" Maybe I should take a job here since I seem to have a hang of this cleaning thing.

If the 3rd person didn't come the result may have been different. The 2 women did a great job but the 3rd guy completely turned me off, plus the complexity of just paying them was off to me. Sadly there's a lot of this in the home cleaning business and I do not recommend hiring M&D.

Been through a few teams of cleaners. They start out good, then get lax. This was happening and it took them way too long to schedule a new team, like 3 weeks. I was kinda done when the owner lied to me about raising the price. I’m done and moved on.

Thank you! We had a post construction clean up after our basement was jackhammered and the crew did not put up a barrier. M&S had a crew out the next day for us. The team arrived on time. Friendly. They did a thorough job and wiped down and cleaned up everything. We did not have a sink in the basement hooked up. The crew went outside and used the hose. They made sure we were happy before they left. Melissa called and followed up the next day to make sure we were happy . They did a great job

M&D CleanStart has gone above and beyond since I first contacted them. Jakob was so professional, kind and responsive. He was great with our big slobbery sweet baby dog, Ziggy Stardust. The quotes for cleaning were reasonable. Next, the ladies came and performed a miracle. My house has never smelled so clean. They didn't skip anything, beyond thorough. Not too mention they too, were kind and respectful.
