Very poor communication and service.
Tech needed a part to repair range hood, said I’d get a call in a few days since he couldn’t get though to the warehouse at the time of the service call.

A week later and 2 calls from me, a rude parts manager told me the part was discontinued and I should call Viking to complain. He also said the tech had noted the unavailability of the part on the invoice. I volunteered to show him my copy of the invoice and asked him get the tech on the phone so we could clear this up which he declined to do and hung up on me.

This review is actually from Martha. Ace Appliance Service is AWESOME. They came out quickly and, not only did they repair the washer beautifully but also they diagnosed a very tricky problem with a dryer. I was completely thrilled with their response, their work, and their follow up. I have worked in property management and, believe me, I know a good vendor when I find one!

I can't state enough what an amazing company this is. I purchased an under-cabinet mounted GE microwave roughly a year ago. Unfortunately I neglected to keep the sales receipt, so when the microwave decided to short out on me, I was unable to claim the warranty on it. And this is after I already replaced another GE microwave with the one that broke on me! Suffice to say I was not looking forward to having to purchase another one, but after I loaded the appliance in the back of my truck to take it to the recycling center, it dawned on me that I should check out some of the local appliance repair shops. Thankfully I came across Ace and I immediately found that they are aptly named. I showed up unannounced at their shop in Plymouth Meeting and was immediately greeted by the owner. He proceeded to explain the process of repair and I left with fingers crossed hoping he could save me a few dollars by not having to (re)purchase another unit. A few days later, I received a phone call telling me the repair was complete! Upon arrival I spoke with the owner and he said it was a minor issue of a fuse in the door or something like that. (I'm not an electrical guy, so it was all Greek to me!) The price for the repair was negligible compared to purchasing a new one, and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely use Ace again in the future as needed and highly recommend anyone else to do the same!

Came quickly to look at my broken appliance (appreciated) but rather than take the time to figure out which part was broken, they were just going to start replacing parts and hopefully we’d luck out with the first one being the one that was broken. I essentially paid over $100 for them to tell me what I already knew - something (unsure exactly what) was broken. Not surprisingly, the repair estimate was outrageous.

I have been using Ace for years, and I am always happy with my experience. The manager is always extremely helpful and friendly. Overall just a great family owned and operated company! Would definitely recommend.

I've used Ace Appliance Repair a few times, and the experience has been positive. The technicians are punctual, professional, and consistently resolve my issues quickly and efficiently.

Ace appliance was recommended by Lowes to perform warranty work for my recent bought whirlpool washer. At the initial visit, a service person came within 2 weeks and said that he will order the part. Never heard from them again. I called several times within the next 2 months. Left messages and once I got a person on the phone, the woman was extremely rude and unhelpful. Finally, I called back the warranty company to explain my situation so they ordered me my washer part. About 3 months into this ordeal, the part was delivered to my home and then the warranty company scheduled me service back with Ace Appliance again. Ace scheduled my service a week out but I asked the Manager if they can do the work sooner than a week because of all the difficulties that I had been experiencing. I found him unapologetic and unprofessional as a manager. He blamed my bad experiences on the pandemic but I told him that is not an excuse not to follow up with his customers. Then the manager told me to find some one else to do my work. I personally found this company unreliable and unprofessional to do business with.

Don’t waste your time. Booked 12-4PM appointment one week in advance - this was the earliest appointment they had. Was supposed to receive a call in the morning to confirm, but never got one. Spoke with super rude dispatcher and tech 3 times, and finally was told that a tech would arrive at 4:30PM. At 4:30PM, when the tech didn’t show, I called again and was told that they weren’t going to show up and that the earliest they were available was 3 days from the original appointment date. Totally not willing to work with us to fix their scheduling error.

Needed to have a washer door replaced and found Ace Appliance. Had a wonderful experience with Bill & customer service. They were professional and took only 1 visit to fix the washer door. I am now recommending them to a friend of mine. Thank you

Tyler is the best,,,,my parents used Ace when I was a kid,,,if used them a couple of times and I'll use them again if something break,,,thanks Tyler,,it's like having a buddy work on my appliances

I had the pleasure of working with Tyler from Ace Appliance Service, and I must say, I couldn't be more impressed! Tyler was nice and professional from start to finish. He performed a thorough check on my fridge, leaving no stone unturned, and successfully identified the problem. He was honest and transparent about the potential costs of repair. He provided an estimate about the expense associated with a particular part and labor, and suggested me weigh in all factors before deciding on whether repairing or purchasing a new fridge. This level of candor and integrity is hard to come by in today's service industry, and it's precisely why I wholeheartedly recommend Ace Appliance Service. I think Ace needs to get the front office lady some help and not let everyone take vacation all at the same time because she is obviously very upset about it and lashing out at potential customers. I understand that type of frustration, but the customer is not at fault and does not deserve that type of treatment.

I was nervous with the travel and diagnostic charge, but the technician was straight forward and provided all necessary feedback. No parts required for the fridge repair so just labor plus the diagnostic fee. I would use Ace again, guaranteed.

ACE Appliances has helped me service all my kitchen appliances over many years. They are dependable, easy to work with and know what they are doing, much better than other repair services. CJ works in center city and works methodically and quickly to diagnose and repair my stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. We need more people like ACE. Thank you.

Chris and Rich from Rays Appliances, guided me to Ace. Rays is a great company that I trust implicitly after doing business with them over time.
