ECI did a fantastic job on a mini split install for my rowhome. Great communication throughout the whole process - not only the planning stages w/ Ron but throughout the day of installation by James, Alex and Jeremy. I am very particular about details and all their work inside and out looks very polished.

Just switched over to ECI a few months ago. Scheduled a routine maintenance service. Rich Slawecki came over and stated there was a leak in the system and he could not perform the service. He gave us a quote for repairs and stated Evan Capinas would be coming by to give a quote on a new system if we chose that route. Evan drew up a quote for a new system. No pressure selling, just making us aware of our choices, repair or replace. The pricing was reasonable and the discounts offered were substantial. The choice was easy for us as the heater was 45 yrs old and a repair would only solve one issue without knowing what other issue could come up in the future. We agreed to a replacement. On Wednesday Mike Cirillo and Majesty Mungen came to do the install. They were very professional and very focused on the job they had. They checked thermostats to make sure the system was working properly before they left. They cleaned up the area they were working so you never knew anyone was there. Thank you to these 4 gentlemen for the commitment to the customer. I am so glad we switched to a company that cares about the customer and the service they provide. We are very pleased with ECI.

I am writing to express my sincere satisfaction with the recent boiler installation at my home. The entire process, from start to finish, was a great experience.

ECI Comfort Heating, Cooling, Fuel Oil

Early November it became obvious we needed a new HVAC system. Ours was 25 years old and although I did yearly maintenance on it, it was time. I spent a considerable amount of time researching different units comparing all the pros and cons. My wife and I decided to get (5) quotes. Four were for the same Trane system and one Carrier system.
After the dust settled it was apparent that ECI had their stuff together. From our first meeting with Matt, the sales rep, we knew this was a different company. Matt realized I did my homework and instead of trying to talk me into or out of something he listened and filled in areas that I had questions and made a recommendation.
After we signed the contract we got a call from the lead installer, “Dan.” Dan wanted to look at the job site to make sure when his team arrived, they would have everything they needed. Dan was a pleasure to speak with. He pointed out a few items in our old HVAC ductwork that should be replaced. He said don’t worry this will be fixed at no additional cost. Dan also recommended we install a Bluetooth thermostat on the second floor to help alleviate the temperature difference between the first and second floor. Again, said don’t worry this is on us, no extra charge. At this point my wife and I were shocked. Who does this?
On install day three great guys showed up, (Dan, Mike, Majesty) introduced themselves, put down runners to protect our hardwood floors, explained the process for the next two days.
On the close of day one all the old HVAC equipment was out of the basement, loaded and trucked away, the new heating system was installed and running, and runners were pulled up and the area swept.
Day two the rest of the AC portions of the HVAC system was installed, the new Bluetooth thermostat installed on the second floor, the errors of the original HVAC system were fixed and Dan spent time going over our new thermostat.
Alice from the ECI office got all of our warranty paperwork submitted, PECO rebates filed, and tax information sent to us.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with ECI. All our questions were answered promptly, Dan and Mike made sure we were happy with the new HVAC system, and even called two days later to make sure we didn’t have any questions.
We would without a doubt recommended ECI for all your HVAC needs. After five quotes and meeting five different installers ECI was the easy button.

We recently had two mini-splits installed at our home by ECI and it was such great experience. Jeremy, Jim, and Alex were extremely respectful of our space and did a perfect install. The communication during initial consultation and day of install was amazing, there’s even a text message with photos of the technicians so that you’re aware of who is coming into your home. We love our new HVAC system and it’s made our quality of life much better!

We recently had our Trane XL1200 air condition system replaced by ECI Comfort. It was a rock solid performer since we built our house 38 years ago and I was looking for a company that would give us quality installation of new Trane equipment. I found it with ECI Comfort. From the very beginning, I was impressed. Matt presented several options for replacement systems and gave us very competitive pricing. We chose a Trane 17 Multi Speed Heat Pump which qualified for tax credits and further reduced our expense.
The installers Dan, Mike and Majesty were courteous, neat and professional. We had concerns over what may occur in removing the old equipment from the attic and installing the new air handler, but they were extremely neat and careful and it went fine. A follow up visit by Nick to check on the system was appreciated and he was very courteous and friendly.
I have no hesitation in recommending ECI Comfort to anyone looking for quality work.

When there is a problem, ECI stands behind their work and returns to resolve any issues. They cleared up the flooring issue we had and even helped us out with a UV air purifier inside the ducts. They truly are a professional company and stand behind their products.

Original Review:

Eci comfort was a blessing in disguise. When our unit failed in late July this year (3 days ago) I was frantically calling around to get prices on a replacement unit. Matt came out to the house within 20 min and met with my wife and I to ask us some questions about how the previous unit operated and what we would like to see with the new system. After some time evaluating his options for us in his car, he returned and gave us two options. He explained the differences and how both systems would operate. We asked our questions and made our decision with him still here around 5pm. We decided to buy their solution that would save us money and help resolve some of our cooling concerns. Other companies just said here you can pay this for this system. We asked when it could be installed because we were in the middle of a stretch of 90+ degree days. They had everything in stock and were able to rearrange some things to get out to install the unit the very next day. Here we were almost after 5 pm and they were able to make the install happen the next day.

The installers (Nick and Roger, I think, I'm bad with names lol) showed up around 9 am the next day and were very professional and courteous. They asked where a few things were and asked where we wanted the new condenser unit. The old one was on our patio and they were able to relocate the new one off our patio without trouble. They went to work. I was working from home and didn't even realize they were here. They kept a clean work area and were quiet all day. I chatted with them on and off throughout the day checking in on their progress. They finished the install around 430 and showed me how to work the new system. They cleaned up their tarps and finished the installation.

In a tense moment when you need to make a decision quickly ECI made it extremely easy to understand and didn't pressure you into anything. Now I have a system that is under full warranty for 12 years! Thank you to everyone at ECI for making this process painless!!!!!

Here we go ROUND TWO! ECI has really raised the bar! They did such an amazing job on our first MiniSplit install that we invited them back for ANOTHER MiniSplit, but this time in our kitchen.

Our kitchen averaged 55-57 degrees. It dropped even lower during the arctic blast we just went through. No one even wanted to walk through the kitchen it was so cold. Not to mention our heating unit was running constantly to keep up.

I text Evan (ECI Project Manager) on his personal cell on Saturday. (YES! They give you their personal cell so you can reach out to them when you have an urgent need!) and I asked Evan to please assist us again. His response time was less than 2 mins! "I already have your measurements and I'm placing the order today".

Monday morning...Julia calls me to tell me they can install the new MiniSplit the next day! WOW!!!

Tuesday morning....Mike and Nick show up....ahead of schedule and ready to WORK! 8 hours later....We have a 74 degree kitchen and it feels AMAZING IN HERE!!! Mike and Nick were super knowledgeable and confirmed that we made the right decision to add the MiniSplit and we will be happy with its overall performance. Talk about putting my mind at ease!

I'll say once and I'll say it again....if you don't have ECI as your HVAC company then you are just living on a remote island by yourself! Hands down the best service we've ever received by an HVAC company! PERIOD.t!

Thursday afternoon, after a major snowstorm, I was told by PECO that my furnace had to be repaired because of the exhaust gasses. A great plumber had recommended ECI Comfort.
We called and they sent an excellent technician (Jason) right out. He found that expensive repairs were needed to get running again. We decided to replace our 1991 system with a new one. Evan and team managed to get us the right setup. Mike and a different Jason showed up and installed it on Saturday. They had us heated again by about two. It took some more time to get the AC installed but we were already WARM! They did an excellent job. All involved were friendly, polite and very qualified. They kept us informed about who was coming and when. We are very impressed by our experience with them! They completely exceeded our expectations and we would recommend them to anyone.
I had been repairing my system before this, but this time, it needed equipment beyond what I had.

I had a great experience with ECI from start to finish. Scheduling was easy, communication was clear, and the service itself was efficient and thorough. It’s refreshing to work with an HVAC company that clearly values quality work and customer satisfaction, and that shows in every interaction.

Chuck was the standout part of this experience. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything he was doing. Instead of just fixing the issue and moving on, he explained why the work was necessary and how it affected my system, which genuinely helped me become a better homeowner and feel confident about the care of my HVAC system.

I will be exclusively using ECI in the future for all my needs because I know I can trust them and specifically I will be requesting Chuck for his particular attention to detail and warm inviting personality which made me feel valued as a customer.

Second….Evan, the Project Manager…I’ll leave this right here……He’s welcomed into our home anytime he wants to show up! What a nice guy!!!!!! A pleasure to deal with! He not out for a sale…he just wants to see his customers needs met! He exceeded that with us!

Third…our installation of our minisplit was scheduled for Monday(2/9/26), but Julie calls on 2/5/26 and said they can get us in on Friday(2/6/26) which was great because we are having company over for the Super Bowl and it’s calling for extremely cold weather!…..Installation arrival time between 8am-9am…Great!…..MIKE and RYAN show up not just on time but 15mins early…..and ready to W O R K! They worked straight through until 1:00pm. Both gentlemen were respectful, courteous and had OUTSTANDING Customer Service! The craftsmanship…100% clean work! They cleaned up after themselves even so much that I couldn’t tell if they were actually there when they were done!

If you don’t have ECI as your HVAC company then you are living on a remote island by yourself! 5 stars isn’t enough! They deserve 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! We are completely happy with everything and everyone we came in contact with! THANK YOU ECI!!! Great way to set the standard!

Excellent job! I’m very pleased. From working with Evan on information and details in order to choose a unit to the gentleman who were here all day to install, Mike, Ryan, and Jim…a seamless, stress free experience!
They promptly showed up on scheduled and their work was clean and neat. I highly recommend.

I recently had the secondary heat exchanger fail on my Carrier 9200 furnace. I contacted and met with three HVAC companies to quote me on a new furnace. We decided on ECI because of their prompt reply and visit. The salesperson Evan from ECI was very knowledgeable and there wasn't a single thing he told me that was misleading. I know a few things about control systems and I was pleasantly surprised to get such straightforward honest answers from him. He explained the options and in my opinion gave me very good advice. Today Mike and Ryan, the ECI installers arrived and within a few hours had our old furnace out and the new furnace installed and working. They were extremely courteous and did an absolutely wonderful job. Their work was extremely neat and everything is working as it should. Drop clothes were used on the floor along with booties and The furnished area was spotless when they left.
I also want to add that Evan contacted me multiple times offering to lend us space heaters because the temperature dropped significantly while our furnace was not operating. This was above and beyond and we very much appreciate it.
We ended up going with a Daikin furnace, 120,000 BTU and upgraded the filter to a 4-in cartridge that will certainly help with dust and allergens in our home. The unit is wonderful and looks very nice, especially compared to the dinosaur we were keeping alive in our basement. We have a 12-year parts and labor warranty on this unit.
We are warm again and very happy customers!

I am a senior project manager for ASW Hobart Construction, a seasoned high end custom home remodeler based in Philadelphia. We are using ECI as our HVAC subcontractor for a complete gut remodel of a very grand Frank Furness designed historic townhome along Delancey Place.
Our HVAC scope entails a warmboard radiant floor heating
installation. a unico high velocity cooling system, a 1400 CFM hood exhaust and make up air unit along with some nice bells and whistles. To say that this mechanical system was a technical difficulty to install is an absolute understatement. Not only did it take a pro to capture all the nuances of this installation, but it took talented and patient professionals to make this all come together.
Since day one, our on site point man from ECI, Jim Lafferty and his crew have performed beyond our expectations. How they put together this form fitting mechanical system into spaces that were not designed for modern systems was impressive.
Still a little more work to do until we are finished, but the hard work is done. We could not have done this one without you. Thanks for everything guys.
