Electrical reviews in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania

An awesome resource!

Andrew was very helpful, explaining changes needed for both safety and to get up to code.

All pricing was reasonable, work done efficiently and under insurance and warranty- I would recommend.

John, assisted by Vincent, completed a home safety inspection. He diagnosed a problem with chandelier and repaired the switch, which solved the problem. He explained the findings of inspection. He explained the work needed and price. He answered all my questions. I am very satisfied with the service provided.

Recently purchased a 100+ year old row home, needed to replace the service line and grounding systems. I had two other 'reputable' companies come give estimates first which left me feeling very disappointed.

The first one tried to scare me into rewiring my whole house (tried to convince me it's all k+t wiring when it isn't).

Second company gave an insultingly high quote and tried to pressure me into having him start work the same day.

Then I called JDV, and I'm so glad I did. Anthony was open and honest about the problems and options. This was the first electrician I felt I could trust. It also helped that their prices were the lowest of the three major companies I had in.

The work is top notch and I feel much safer in my home. They took their time to make everything safe and aesthetically pleasing from the outside. They took care of permit and inspection. The inspector told me I picked one of the most reliable companies in Philly.

As a young homeowner, it's tough finding contractors who won't try to take advantage. The industry is full of snakes and I'm glad I found JDV.

Gerry and Giovanni did an amazing install for a smart mirror in our bathroom! They were able to assess the situation quickly and give us a great estimate for what turned out to be a complicated install. Despite it being more complex than the initial request, they still finished the whole job in under 4 hours, and went above and beyond to do it right. Thank you Gerry and Gio!

ETA: I originally left a review for Anthony, who did an incredible job extending our panel and installing a projector and a hood for our induction stove over a year ago. Every JDV job is still going strong! Thank you!

JDV was exceptional! On time, very friendly, went above and beyond and completed the job to satisfaction! Would highly recommend them to everyone!

JDV arrived on time and worked diligently throughout our entire project. They were very communicative, friendly and thorough every step of they way. We are so happy we decided to allow JDV electric service our home. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Vic arrived on time and greeted me with his name and a hand shake. He was very polite and professional. His appearance and work is very neat. He installed a charging station for my wife’s Tesla. Whatever he recommended, that’s what me and my wife agreed to. Long story short my wife was very happy with Vic which made me very happy. Thanks Vic. Job well done!!!

Had an outdoor electrical outlet replaced. Anthony was on time. Provided several options to see what I would like done. Explained everything. Was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We recently had electrical work done at our property by JDV Electric, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team arrived right on time and carried out the work with an impressive level of skill and attention to detail.

Not only was the installation completed with top-notch quality, but the electricians were also incredibly friendly, professional, and thoroughly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us total confidence in their work.

I highly recommend JDV Electric to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality electrical services. They truly set the bar for professionalism and customer care!

Piro was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional on this service call. We will request him again when we use JDV for our electrical needs in future. We appreciated his electrical safety inspection.

Anthony and Brendan were very knowledgeable and professional. They did a fantastic job installing my Tesla Universal Wall Charger. My electric panel is all the way across the house so they had to fish through a lot of wiring. They minimized the holes and did a good job patching the necessary cut outs. 100% would recommend this company and these professionals.

The technician arrived promptly and was considerate of protecting my flooring by providing shoe slip-ons. John was also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about the home and my expectations. Finally, the company presented their recommendations without any pressure. JDV is a trustworthy and family-centered business that provides reassurance and a thorough analysis of your home or business.

We had a great experience with PIRO. He provided clear and honest estimates, took the time to explain everything, and was extremely knowledgeable about the work needed. On top of that, he was very personable and easy to talk to, which made the whole process stress-free. I truly appreciate his professionalism and expertise. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy electrician

DO NOT USE JDV ELECTRIC
I called jdv to fix 2 outlets on one wall. Their service man came and fixed the outlets but turned off the electric to my oil heater. He said that I needed to have my whole house rewired for $2,500.00 . He never rescheduled, when I call jdv they take my messages and the receptionist says they will call me back. They haven't called me yet.
The girl said I need to call a hvc guy, hvc says they don't deal with oil heaters, my oil man says he doesn't do electric.
I haven't had heat in my home for 5 years now. ITS COLD.
DO NOT USE JDV ELECTRIC

Piro and his teammates have been awesome helping me complete my electrical renovations! He's knowledgeable, insightful and very kind. Quality workmanship, good communication and JDV fit me into their very busy schedule so I could be prepared for the next step in my project. JDV has been great, definitely recommend!

was very pleased to open the door and see Anthony T. again. He provided exceptional assistance to me in 2023, and once again demonstrated the same professionalism, kindness, and thorough knowledge today. He took the time to answer all of my questions and ensured everything was clearly explained. If JDV has other employees of his caliber, I would be thoroughly impressed.

I can tell that Anthony is one of the truly exceptional professionals. It’s refreshing to have someone of his caliber enter my home and provide assistance in a field I know very little about.

I had an excellent experience with JDV Electric's Anthony Tedesco. I had lost power to some of my outlets and fixtures after some attic work was done and new insulation was laid. After his prompt arrival, Anthony did some excellent detective work, tracing the path that most likely led to the problem so he wouldn't have to disturb a lot of insulation. And it worked - he quickly found where a loosely-wired junction box had been disturbed, fixed it, and put the insulation back in place in that spot. I was very impressed with his thorough and efficient work. I also really appreciated his detailed explanations and photos, and especially his personable and caring manner. Would definitely recommend JDV Electric and Anthony Tedesco.

I want to thank Tony and George for doing an exceptional job at my home in Media and installing a 220 new panel box and also in handling a complicated short wire issue that took us time to find out where the problem occurred. But Tony is very confident and knew that he would locate the issue and he took care of it. He rewired the new wire seamlessly inside my carport, so that no wire was visible. He made a very professional looking. He also handled my hall light by rewiring my three pole Light. I can’t say enough about Tony and George as they were exceptional in the work that they did. Thank you to you both.

I recently had some electrical work done in my home by Anthony, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Anthony was incredibly professional from start to finish. He took the time to explain all of his findings clearly, discussed any potential risks, and made sure I fully understood each step of the process. What I appreciated most was how he double-checked to ensure he understood the vision I had for my electrical projects — that level of care and attention to detail is rare.
Once the work was completed, everything was cleaned up perfectly, and my home was left in pristine condition. It’s clear that Anthony takes great pride in his work. I’ll definitely be calling him again for any future electrical needs and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality, professional electrical service.

Anthony helped us out late in the day with an emergency situation. He actually came from home to help us. He was professional, effective, helpful, and kind. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend him.

Great quality work; Jone was kind and courteous and really took his time to explain each detail to us. We would definitely recommend JDV and Jon. I look forward to working with JDV in the future.
