Reviews of local pros in Lawrence, Pennsylvania

As a real estate investment house and boutique property management company, we have an ongoing need of working with construction firms. Of the 20+ firms we considered and 8 different construction firms that we hired last year, Shannon Staley and Sons stand out. Steve and his team speak clearly, do what they say, and always deliver. Their core offering of providing on-demand labor is an absolute game-changer, If we’re ever in need of a significant project being handled top-to-bottom, or applying extra labor to an ongoing project that is behind schedule or off-course, we know we can always bring in Shannon Staley & Sons.

We started working with SS&S after "parting ways" with the original contractor on our custom home. They took on the challenging project from the in-place concrete foundation walls and brought our new home to completion in March 2024. The communication from the team throughout the project was such a refreshing change from our previous experience. We love our new home so very much, and are grateful that Steve and SS&S took on our project. There is a great peace of mind that comes with knowing we can grow old here and welcome our family of all abilities.

SSS is a solid company. They did a large chunk of my home remodel including ceilings and floors. Very helpful along the entire process with a straightforward approach. They were willing to help me with my home despite some complicated details, working through any hiccups that arose. Everyone I met over the several months they spent working on my house was polite, helpful, respectful, and friendly. Great people; definitely would recommend!

As the owner and interior designer at Studio 42 Designs in Pittsburgh, it is important that I have superior quality craftsmen to work with to bring my plans to life. Shannon Staley and Sons provide high quality performance, communication, and personnel to every one of my projects.

Ski’s did a great job on my flower beds and mulch! Highly recommend.

LOVE Skis Landscaping. High quality work and great professionalism. I highly recommend this business to anyone.

These guys came in and did 2 days work in one day. GREAT JOB. I have already asked for a quote on another property.

I trust Ski's Landscaping for all of my outdoor projects. They are reasonable prices, local, polite, efficient, and they clean up EVERYTHING before they leave!

Dylan is extremely easy to work with and communicate with. Fair pricing. Would highly recommend!

Ski’s Landscaping put in our concrete and annual plants along our yard boarder, they still look great a year later. They always are around to seasonally aerate our lawn too!

Great experience with ski's..we love the landscape design they recommended and they did a good job cleaning up after the job was done. Will be using them for our retaining wall in the future.

Ski’s Landscaping is our community’s landscaper. Ski’s does excellent work which includes mowing, mulching and trimming. I have seen Ski’s wall and patio work as well...beautiful! I rate Ski’s Landscaping as the #1 choice for landscaping, walls and patio solutions.

I remember these guys...they promised but couldn't deliver. Lost time and I believe he was about texting versus picking up the phone.

Expect nothing but the best with Ski’s Landscaping. They go above and beyond expectations to make your house look outstanding. I highly recommend for any of your landscaping and hardscaping needs!

Dylan and his crew did an amazing job with updating our landscaping! Everything looks great! Highly recommend!

Great job from Ski's landscaping! Very thorough during the work on site

I was very pleased with the service I received from Ski. They removed old scrubs from my current landscaping and replaced them with new ones. WOW! What a difference. Thanks for making my yard look so great!

Dylan runs a great landscaping company. He renovated our lawn which was in bad shape after the drought. He also trimmed the lowest branches of 5 evergreens. Our yard looks better than it ever looked before.

These guys were very neat and professional at my house. Evidently take pride in their work. I couldn’t have asked for better and they cleaned up well after too. They were recommended to me by a friend who got a wall done and that was beautiful as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Dylan and his crew have been my go to crew for landscaping mulch beds and removing bushes for the past 5 years. He’s very responsive and does great work with quality materials.

Ski's recently replaced our 30+ year old shrubs and landscape with a raised bed, mulch, new plants and they provided some guidance on design as well. The front of our house now looks great! They do quality, precise work and kept the site clean. We will consider them for future landscaping/ hard-scaping needs!
