Just had a bathroom exhaust fan replaced by Jake Guntrum. Did a wonderful job considering it wasn't the easiest. The old one was very small and noisy. Jake had to redo almost everything to fit our opening and ventilation but did it in record time. Left work area clean and ready to set our fixtures back in place.would gladly use again.

Jacob and Dave were wonderful. They arrived when they were scheduled and got to work right away and finished both jobs quickly and efficiently. Would use Okot again and again. Thank you for the great job

Jake is/was awesome. It was a long very long process , over 3 hours. He took care of an electrical issue in my home. Jake was patient, kind & waited & made sure job was done & done well & also made sure i was informed on issues every step of the way.

I needed a backup generator for my home and called Okot electric for an estimate. I had used them in the past and knew i could trust their quote. All of the employees at Okot are very knowledgeable and professional. The lead installer Jake Guntrum with help from Cody and Dave installed my generator in 2 days and it looks great. They braved bitter cold temperatures and worked hard to complete the job on time. Highly recommend Jake and the rest of the Okot Electric team.

Jacob did a great job installing sconces and wall outlets in my bedroom. He was very clean and efficient. He answered all my questions and made sure to talk me through any problems he ran into. He was also very polite and easy to talk to , I felt very comfortable having him in my home.

Needed a service replacement, fuse panel consolidation/upgrade to breakers. Worked with Debbie and Cory to get the estimate and logistics figured out. Okot's estimate was right in the middle of three other electricians.

Jake G, Jake G, and David S performed the installation in the brutal weather we've been having here. I had no issues with the guys or any of the work that they did. Everything appears to have been done professionally, looks relatively clean given the space, and they did everything I asked.

The Okot team completed what was supposed to be a 1.5-2 day job down to 6-7 hours and I'm happy with the end product.

Okot Electric is hands down the best electrician in the Pittsburgh area. Trust me, I know because I've dealt with many on residential projects in the area. I called them for a rush fixture swap while out of town and they had a quote sent to me in no time and scheduled my emergency light fixture swap immediately! Frankie was super professional. They gave a great price and it's refreshing to speak to an actual manager on the phone, not a third party answering service. Thank you , Okot.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Okot. The appointment was easily scheduled. Texts and emails to let you know who is coming and what time. Jake was very helpful and gave us advise and several options for the repair, which was quickly completed. Very professional. I will definitely be using Okot for future projects.

Jake was our electrician and he went above and beyond to make sure our living room light was not only functional, but SAFE! There was a technical issue in the switch itself, and he took the time and patience to figure out the problem. Then he fixed it/replaced it right away so not only the light would work, but it wouldn’t spark or trip the breaker anymore! He also installed bathroom sconces for us in record time, and even made sure we had the right bulbs for it and put them up right away. 12/10

(In Cranberry Twp.) Called around 10 different electricians and companys and only had about 3 pick up the phone and Okot was one of them. I spoke with Philips from Okot on Wednesday about installing 4 GFCI outlets in our business/office restrooms so we could install electrical automatic faucets to replace battery operated ones that have been on the fritz and not working consistently. We were in a time crunch as we had guests coming to the office the following week. Philips scheduled an appt for the next day (Thursday) to check out the situation and provide an estimate. The estimate seemed high to me, but I also don't know the going price for these things and it seemed reasonable for the short timeline we needed it done by. They were able to complete the job within 4 days of being called even though it wasn't considered an emergency, so I didn't complain. Plus, I wasn't footing the bill, my employer was and they wanted it done ASAP. Philips made the effort to come in to the office over the weekend when we were closed even though they don't typically work weekends. He was able to immediately provided needed documentation before starting the job (COI & W-9). Philips and his colleague arrived on time at the job site and completed the installation of 4 GFCI outlets within 4 hours, start to finish, and even ran into a few issues with metal studs in the wall. Over all, I am very happy and pleased with Okots response and Philips professionalism and quality of work. Would use them again in the future for sure.
Also, one really nice added touch that Okot did, that I have never experienced before is that they texted me a picture and a short background description of the technician who would be arriving to complete the work, which was very helpful and made the entire situation seem safer because I knew exactly who to expect.
