Reviews of local pros in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania

Okot Electric was fabulous to work with. Very professional, on time and did a great job. I highly recommend them. I

We had Okot replace all of our outlets, light switches, and ceiling fans. Amazing work, super friendly, and they even finished a day early. 10/10 would use again.

The technician, Jake, was outstanding. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. I highly recommend requesting Jake to diagnose and solve your electrical issues.

Jake with Okot Electric has been wonderful to work with....He fixed our outside lights and replaced all switches. Highly recommend their service and expertise.

I used Okot to fix a GFI plug at my house and they ended up having to put a breaker in my fuse box , Jake is who did the work and he was on time and did a wonderful job and was extremely nice to work with. Thank again Jake

Jacob and David from Okot Electric did a wonderful job in a timely fashion. They were courteous and efficient. I highly recommend.

Jake showed up right on time, he was so knowledgeable. He walked me threw everything gave a quote and was fabulous to work with...definitely recommend 10 stars!!

Prompt and accurate service at a good rate. They were able to get a technician out to my house very quickly (cody) and he was honest and upfront about the necessary repairs. Highly recommend

Philips was amazing! Very professional and nice. Got the job done quickly and neatly. Will definitely use again.

Jacob was great. Showed up on time. Took care in trying to identify the problem. Was very thorough. Very pleased with service and professionalism.

Jake was a really nice trustworthy guy. I felt very comfortable with him in my home. He and his partner worked very quickly and cleaned up afterwords.

They were prompt, rescheduling was easy, and had a service panel upgrade to 200amp. Estimate was accurate and their website is easy to do stuff! Talk to their team if you're around Lower Burrell area and need an electrician!

Jake Golacinski and his crew of Okot electric were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable pricing. Excellent service and highly recommend them for any job.

Just wonderful! Cody came out the day after we called. In and done in 30 minutes. He stayed and patiently answered our questions. Their pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely call them again or refer anyone to them. Thanks so much Okot!

They have replaced numerous light switches that were an old style of smart switches that were complicated, installed recessed lighting, and installed a generator interlock switch.

I was very happy with all of the jobs they have completed for me.

Cody and Jake (and Francis) are very professional and have much integrity. They respected our property and time. They completed the projects just as planed. Have already recommended to others and will be using Okot for all our future electrical needs.

Okot Electric is amazing, and I highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs! From the initial call to set up the free estimate, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Cody was able to come out shortly after I called to listen to the work we wanted completed. He gave his suggestions and the best way Okot could go about getting the work done. He explained the process very well for each item and answered every question I had. After we approved the estimate, which was very fair, Francis and his team came out to complete the work. Francis is amazing also and made sure to walk around and look at each item he would be working on before starting, to make sure he knew what we were having done and the best way to accomplish it. Any questions I had on completing an item and the potential changes I wanted to make, he explained the options to get it done and left it up to me. Francis is very friendly and personable and is very thoughtful and thorough while working.

The work we had done was adding an outlet in the garage, an outlet behind the tv, switching out an outlet to a gfci, and troubleshooting a light switch that kept tripping the breaker. I also decided to add another outlet that wasn't on the initial estimate, and Francis had no issue getting that done as well. When I wasn't sure where I wanted that added outlet, he explained they could make an access hole in the current wall or make the hole from downstairs, explaining the process for each option and finding out how I wanted it done.

Sorry if this review is long, but when you find an amazing company from top to bottom, I wanted to make sure that message was conveyed. It's not typically easy to find such a great company that does amazing work and everyone is so friendly and helpful! I know we'll have more work needing to be done in the future and will definitely be calling Okot!

We used Okot Ekectric LLC to do work for us at new home. There were many things that needed updating and replacing, while other things needed sorting out.
They were professional from the start, starting with answering the phone.
I called 2 other companies in my area and didn’t receive any calls back! When I called Okot, the phone was answered promptly and professionally.
When they initially came to look at what was needed, they took the time to “listen” and not once did we feel hurried.
Any questions we had were answered.
The electricians that worked on site were professionals and courteous. (Very clean too)
They explained what tasks would be done daily when on site.
In the end, we were thrilled with all of their hard work and professionalism.
We will continue using this company for any of our electrical needs.
Fantastic company.

Update: June 22/2024
Again, we chose to use this Okot when installing an electric car charger for our short term rental/Airbnb.
They were very quick to come out to assess and came back with a quote and knowing that we were anxious to open our business. No waiting game.
They managed to get us scheduled very quickly, as they knew we were anxious to open our doors.
This is the second time we used this company and maintain that we only have great things to say.
Again, I reiterate the professionalism..
Explaining any thing we needed to have explained to us was done in an easy manner.
Men on the job today worked tirelessly through this horrible heat wave we are currently experiencing.
They did their hard work, which included trenching outside.
At the end of project, everything was left tidy and spotless.
(No mess was left behind)
I cannot say that we would use a different company in the future for anything electrical.
Another great job by a fantastic group of people.
They’ve earned another five star rating from me!

Update:
Came out again today to do some work. Always a pleasure.
Will continue to use this company.
Another 5 stars from us.

Phillips, Jake, and the whole team did a fantastic job adding recessed lights to two rooms in our house. Highly recommend for prompt, kind, and professional service.

Excellent service. Jake explained everything to me, wrote me an estimate, and I scheduled the work to be done the following week. I am very thankful I called.

I had an electric car outdoor charging station installed and my entire experience with Okot Electric was absolutely wonderful! Cody arrived right on time to complete a swift consultation with what a wanted to do and gave me a very fair price (I had two other electricians give me higher prices). Then, a week later, Philips and Francis arrived to complete the job. They worked diligently and were very clean and tidy. There was even a small bump in the project when the EVSE took a different size conduit then what was being used, and the guys went out of their way to change their plan a bit and get another size conduit to fit. They finished all in the same day, and it looks and works perfectly! Thanks so much guys! I recommend them over everyone else.
