I decided to bring in a professional electrician after my attempt to replace the outdoor outlets. The power to dishwasher was not functioning after my work. Dr. Electrician (Rich) quickly rechecked my work, and diagnosed that a different (unrelated) circuit breaker was faulty. Rich quickly replaced the breaker and got me back into business. Rich is a no-nonsense professional who wasted no time. He is also very pleasant and easy to communicate. I plan to use Dr. Electric for other jobs.

I've used Rich twice. In my home I was selling, he installed a new panel, service line, and outlets. In the home I just bought, again, a new panel, service line, and replaced a combined 40 outlets/switches. Rich and his crew are incredibly professional, prompt, respectful of property, and definitely fairly priced. Rich has also been very prompt in answering questions and always kept me in the loop of what's going on. It's rare to find someone honest who does good work at a fair price. Rich is definitely it.

We hired Dr electric to rewire the entire electrical system of an old house with dangerously out of date wiring and instal some lights. We were quoted $13,000, comparable to other quotes we'd recieved for the job. We were very clear that we didn't want anything in the house that wasn't modern romex wiring, as most of the wiring was 80+ years old. Rich then asked to enter the home 3 weeks before schedualed to take some measurements... then cut the power to the whole house, cut holes for lights in the wrong places, and left us with no electricity for nearly a month. When they did return Rich asked us to sign a new contract because something had happened to the old one, and we did. Unfortunately we didn't notice he had changed the words "replace electrical system" with "Replace outdated wiring" right away, but when we did he assured us he understood we wanted everything updated. He "finished" the job, and we paid him. But further investigation revealed he had only replaced a small part of the system, leaving knob and tube wiring in place and other dangerously old wiring in the house. When confronted he accused me and my wife of lying about what we had wanted done and refused to admit that the pictures I sent of old wiring in the walls were real. When asked why he charged the going rate for the job we wanted done and only did a quarter of the work, he said it wasn't his fault if we overpaid but that the reworded contract protected him. In the end I had to pay another electrician to redo the entire job. Our local housing inspector looked at the pictures and said its a clear case of theft of services. So if you want safe wiring in your home, dont call this thief. its nothing but misery

Rich and his team installed recessed lighting in my home. They arrived promptly at 8 am COVID safe. The entire team was was charming and knowledgeable. The job in my home was 6 hrs. The team took no breaks and ensured I was satisfied with every move they made. They cleaned up and left no traces of work being done in the home. I love Dr. Electric and his team!

Fantastic work!!! Had them do a bunch of electrical work throughout our condo. He did the work quick and efficient. And his bill in the end was very reasonable for all the work he did.

Rich and his employees at Dr. Electric are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything. They are very efficient and work in a timely manner. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Electric. They completed multiple jobs at our house to include re-wiring the entire residence, installing outlets for a sauna and other outdoor outlets, and hooking up our pool heater. I would highly recommend!!

Highly recommend! We went with Dr. Electric for a large knob-and-tube rewiring project in our 100+-year-old house and they did a fantastic job. They were extremely thorough in their quote of what they would fix, charged half of what 3 other electricians quoted, and were able to get it done quickly and cleanly. You wouldn’t even know we had electrical work being done when getting home each day! Highly recommend them especially for larger electrical projects.

Rich and his team were great to work with. My wife and I purchased an older home with some remaining knob and tube circuits that required replacement. The Dr. Electric team did a great job of rewiring the circuits quickly and professionally, including patching any holes in the walls as they went. I can't recommend this group enough for your project, especially if it involves rewiring old circuits.

Called in the morning about meter box replacement. Talked to owner said he would call me back. Early afternoon recevid a call back said he had two guys in the area going to stop and look at it. They showed up and 2 1/2 hours later they were done. I would highly recommend them.

Rich and his crew are absolutely fantastic. Showed me how to address a variety of things without spending a dime. For the things where true expertise was needed, very reasonable and precise. Couple that with stellar professionalism and cleanliness, and you have an unparalleled service.

One of the best electricians I've ever hired. Rich is great to work with. He listens to what you have to say as the issue and explains things extremely well. Rich has done work for me in the past, so asked Rich come out and clean up electrical work done by a builder (added an addition) who used a general laborer to do his electrical work. I won't name the contractor but there is a difference when a licensed professional does the work. Rich is and works as a professional licensed electrician should.

Was referred to Dr. Electric by a friend in the trades. Had a bunch of upgrades I wanted done including adding EV charging outlets in my garage. Rich was able to understand the scope of the projects and quote the job based on a face time conference call. The following Tuesday two of his team members showed up on time (even in the snow) and knocked out all the work in one day. They were great people and very good at explaining the best way to accomplish what I wanted done. I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and quality of their work.
