James was great and fixed the problem but the first repairman came and it was obvious he had no clue, as he was immediately googling the problem and I questioned are you sure and what if that is not the issue, proceeded to order the wrong part for what was the wrong problem and wasted a week of my life. So I will not be calling sears anymore in the future. My rating averages the 2 repairmen.
Despite the fact that it took over a month & three appointments, two of which no one ever showed, the work by Charles was professional. He kept us informed of when to expect him, was courteous, friendly & knowledgeable. Shared helpful information regarding our problem. Was neat & efficient. Couldn’t ask for anyone better! The main problem is the fact when you call the service # you never speak to a live person. So very frustrating & problematic!
Brent was polite and highly experienced, and shared with us the repair that was needed. He carefully explained the problem and how to best resolve what needs to be done.
Sears Appliance Repair was assigned/scheduled through our home warranty service. Our repairman Tom S was wonderful. I was the 3rd stop of the day and was notified when he was on his way. He diagnosed the issue with our refrigerator very quickly and was on the phone calling around for the part. Luckily they had it in stock, Tom went and grabbed it and was back installing it. The whole process was seamless and Tom had my refrigerator running again within a half hour. He was extremely polite and professional. I would use them again for any repairs needed.
In all fairness, I wasn’t home. The machine was horribly off balance with the machine shaking violently with spin cycle. He told my husband that I should be using high water levels when washing clothes. There are only the two of us so our loads are small. What does the high water level have to do with the machine shaking loudly during spin cycle??? Will never use Sears again!
The tech that came was awesome ! He could not detect any issues with the freezer or the ice maker. Very kind and explained that sometimes re setting the fridge would stop the blinking light issue and the noise. Thanks
