K Morris Landscape Design listened to what I wanted and designed a beautiful patio with a water fountain. I never would have thought that I could have a patio that could have come from HGTV. They also addressed the water issues with drainage. The finished work was more then I expected. When K Morris finished the job, all I had to do is enjoy. Thank you K Morris Landscape Design. Highly recommend Keith and his team! Keith had design ideas that beat what others had shown us. We had our front steps and sidewalk done as well as a back patio with a seat/retaining wall in May 2019- each had its own challenges on the terrain etc. Very responsive, meticulous, he and his entire team were professional and and respectful of our home. Keith’s expertise shines through the entire product. Projects were completed timely and within budget. Top quality work at a competitive and reasonable price point. We are thrilled with the end project and will absolutely be going to K Morris for future outdoor projects!

We would give zero stars if we could. We have read the five-star reviews and we wonder if those folks dealt with a different K Morris Landscape Design. We paid Keith $75 for his estimate, which, in our experience, is unusual. We nonetheless agreed to pay for an estimate because K Morris came highly recommended. We then entered into a contract with K Morris for landscaping work in mid-April 2020 and paid Keith a 10% deposit, per his standard contract. We also discussed deck work with Keith in March and April 2020, but he told us he was booked out several months for decks and that K Morris could not begin work on a deck until Fall 2020 at the earliest. Keith told us in mid-April that the landscape work in our contract would be completed in May or, weather-depending, June. Fast forward five-plus weeks. We entered into a separate contract with another contractor to build our deck, with a completion date of June 4. We had not heard anything at all from Keith since mid-April, when he told us that our landscape work would be completed in May or June. It took repeated phone calls, emails, and even a Facebook message (we think five or six messages in total) from us to get Keith to even call us back. All we wanted to know was when our project would begin. By this time, we had a signed contract with K Morris for landscape work, Keith had already cashed our 10% deposit, and the clock was ticking on planting season. When we finally got Keith on the phone and he learned that we had entered into a separate contract for our deck he completely shut down. He said that “planting arborvitaes and grass” was “not really his cup of tea” and that he only took our landscaping job because he expected to get the deck work too. He expected deck work even though, on his schedule, the work would not even begin until the Fall! When I told Keith I wanted a deck for my family to enjoy for the summer he raised his voice and accused me of “rushing everything” and he offered to return our deposit. We wasted six weeks with K Morris Landscape Design before Keith reneged on the contract we signed in mid-April. He did refund our 10% deposit and the $75 fee for his estimate. But we can’t get back the time that K Morris wasted. I will never forget how Keith shouted at and talked over me on the phone the last time we spoke. In short, Keith signed a contract he never really wanted for work he did not want to perform in the first place. He made promises about when the work would be completed without telling us that his timeline was contingent on our agreeing to the deck work that he could not start for another several months. We were disappointed in the utter lack of communication and the weeks that were wasted waiting on K Morris to perform under our contract. It also goes without saying that no contractor should ever yell at a customer, especially a customer who has agreed to pay a five-figure sum for pretty basic landscaping work. P.S., we found other contractors to do the work, all of which was complete by the end of June. We could not be more pleased with the work performed by contractors not named K Morris.

In 2016 we moved into our newly constructed house. Since that time, we have done many improvements to make our new house a home. In the first four years we delt with carpenters, laborers, big companies, and independent contractors, and in that time our expectations were occasionally met but sometimes the work fell short.

We can honestly say that every part of the process with K Morris Landscape Design exceeded our expectations. From design, construction, and landscaping Keith worked with us to make our backyard an extension of our home. Sometimes having contractors at your house can be an issue, but K Morris Landscape design made things easy. All the employees were friendly and easy to work with and talk to. Whenever I had a question or concern it was answered promptly. The finished product is absolutely amazing. We don’t have a new deck and patio; we have two new living spaces! If you have a landscaping project and want the best hire Keith and his team.
