We recently had water damage at our veterinary hospital and Service Master provided the necessary cleanup services. They were always there when they said that they would be. The quality of the work was topnotch. Ron Cotyk was especially helpful and always available via text or phone calls. I can highly recommend Service Master.

Once I identified my plight with a three day leak from my hot water heater, I first thought of a replacement for the tank then of Servicemaster. I’d witnessed their work in several instances.
The response was immediate, the remediation was spontaneous. My first contact relieved any anxiety. I pretty much left things in their hands.
I was fortunate to be working with highly experienced personnel who have previously worked with my insurance company; we all worked together to communicate all conditions surrounding the resolution.
The thoroughness and detail were exemplary in all the work. Guidance and corrective measures were explained in detail.
The performance by by several teams was well coordinated with minimal input or observations on my part.
I am extremely pleased that Servicemaster of Pittsburgh was available to me.

We appreciated all the help from service master with cleaning up and repairing after our water main broke and flooded the lower level of our home. Chris and his team did a great job drying up the rooms affected. Quick and thorough.
Then Dan came into restore the basement to its former state. Dan had a real challenge with getting help to get our small job done but he was persistent and kept us posted with his efforts and got the job done quickly once he was able to get a crew in place. The work was done well and we appreciated all Dan did to help us!

Dan went above and beyond and his contracting team, JRs Construction, really worked well together! Dan and Junior made a great team and the finished rooms looked gorgeous! The team did a great job with my construction cleanup. They had to return again to get my facility ready to open its doors. One final run though was needed after we got our setup done on the interior. Everyone on the staff was very courteous and conducted business professionally. I highly recommended this company.

The team at ServiceMaster was excellent! I had a sewage backup in my basement and ServiceMaster had a team out here the day I called to give me a scope of work estimate. I had three companies visit and give an estimate and liked SM the most. On the workday, which was just two days after I called, Don and Ralph were amazing! Super kind, informative, and thorough! They went above and beyond to get us taken care of and I highly recommend their work!

I had a very positive experience with Service Master of Pgh when I needed hazardous material (slate dust) removed from my home quickly. Both Beth and the crew leader Michael were great to work with. When my hot water heater recently broke and flooded my finished basement/ game room, I didn't’ know where to turn. I was given, by my Insurance company, phone numbers of three companies that i could choose to make mitigation and restoration/ repair. After talking with ServiceMaster first, I felt confident enough with them and their plan of action, that i did not call the second or third companies! My choice was not only correct, but the very best choice that I could EVER have made. Throughout each of the three stages that my game room had to undergo, Service Master Project Managers kept me informed of the progress with timely updates! I could not have possibly asked for more from the project managers! And finally, Dan Bishop, the last project manager made it all happen by pulling together everyone involved to bring a very difficult project to a very successful conclusion! I could not possibly have asked for a kinder and more understanding team of people!!!!!! My heartfelt appreciation and deep gratitude to Patty, Dan Bishop and John Samek. Their work and involvement was phenomenal! Thank You!

Service Master was great to work with from start to finish. We chose them for mitigation and the rebuild side to make it a smoother process.
For the most part, everything went super smooth. The coordination between Brian, Darryl and Dan was great! If I had a flood again (and I hope not!) I wouldn’t hesitate to use service master again!

I recently worked with ServiceMaster Restore to remediate water damage from an upstairs bathroom that leaked into the living room ceiling/wall below.
Although my insurance company did not specifically recommend any companies, I was very glad to have found ServiceMaster who were very well versed at working through both the technical restoration process, as well as the logistics of working with my insurance company.
Brian Urey was my point of contact at the office who first responded to my call and did an excellent job explaining the restoration process and expectations. He was exceedingly polite and patient in every discussion we had (as were the rest of the employees I later encountered). I was very impressed that they were able to get a technician at my house the same day I called to start diagnosing the water damage and formulate a scope of work. They were available to start work the next business day. The software they use to generate the scopes of work gives a very detailed accounting of dozens of line items for the restoration, and not simply a rough estimate. I was able to see the exact figures they used to calculate the hourly and square footage costs.
Quentin was the lead technician I worked with most frequently throughout the process. He had extensive knowledge of the restoration process, and had an excellent demeanor and such a friendly attitude which was reassuring for such a stressful situation. The other team members Jeff, Shawn, and Andy, also did a fantastic job with the plaster removal, dust containment, sanitization, and dehumidification efforts. I was comfortable with them working in the house, and had no doubts that they were doing everything possible to be as efficient, thorough, and clean as possible. They take a very detailed accounting of the process with detailed moisture measurements and photographic evidence. I was very pleased with the results, and am confident that the area is disinfected and below the moisture thresholds for future issues.
It is very apparent that ServiceMaster places great emphasis on customer service with all of their employees, as each member of the team that I interacted with was extremely polite and respectful with my family, time, and property. They were prompt and courteous with notifying me of their estimated arrival time. They took great care to ensure that they were as minimally disruptive as possible, but kept me informed throughout the entire process.
In short, they did everything I could have hoped to ensure I was a happy and satisfied customer.

Servicemaster and staff did an excellent job removing furniture off our saturated game room carpet. They sent up demumidifers and fans within a short period of time. Great job from all concerned. I highly recommend service master.

We had ServiceMaster do the reconstruction after our water leak. Darryl laid out a rebuild plan that addressed our concerns and he got the insurance money to cover the restoration. John is someone you can trust to get the job done. He has extensive construction experience and he's got a great relationship with the subcontractors doing the reconstruction work. The various subcontractors and their teams (Nemy, Jason, Shawn, Kim and Junior) were friendly, easy to work with and answered all our questions.

I found the crews sent out to resolve a major bathroom pipe leak (onto our living room ceiling) excellent. In addition to cleaning out the resulting wet ceiling material, the crews dried joists of moisture and cleaned the whole affected space of mold.

When disaster strikes…. You want someone who makes things better all around. ServiceMaster made things better for me! I had water intrusion and damage from a water main break. SM arrived in under 2 hours and got right to work…and they kept coming back until the job was done and done well. Every employee I interacted with was as pleasant, knowledgeable and positive. Every single one of them made me feel so much better about my circumstances and assured me it would all be ok. They did a tremendous job getting everything cleaned up. Jim especially took time to talk me through things and explain each step - as well as make sure I was ok. He in particular was a bright spot in a big mess! Thank you so much!

Following up - I was so happy with ServiceMaster’s remediation that I chose them to do the repair works as well. I was able to customize what I wanted and add some additional work to the scope. Price was reasonable, work was done quickly and neatly. Staff was incredibly professional and polite! I would have them back for future projects and highly recommend!
