I can't say enough praise about this company!! They quickly had everyone lined up to fix my yellow tagged gas line. So professional and kind. We've used them for multiple service calls for different repairs and have always had excellent service !

Quoted me $600-$800 for a kitchen faucet replacement.

Went with a local independent plumber who charged $140 for labor and i supplied the faucet for less than $150.

For a small job like this, i would recommend shopping around.

Came to my house, took pictures, said I’d get a quote next day for water filtration system. It’s been 2 weeks and 4 phone calls, still no quote and just a waste of time. No clarity on why I can’t get a quote.

McVay was over for a furnace checkup and Matthew Coulston was very good I just needed a filter. So call McVay they have very good people and very friendly. I was very pleased with there service.

The technician Chuck did an excellent job and was quite knowledgeable. One of the problems was an old water line was too close to the wooden joist in the unheated garage and couldn't be wrapped with insulation. After discussing various solutions, he and I decided to replace the pipe with flexible plastic pipe and the appropriate fittings. It solved the problem. Included in the repair was a new shutoff valve to the sink connecting to the flexible pipe.Also, recommended by Chuck, an additional shutoff valve near the main house water line to allow bypassing a 50 year old valve. I thought it was a good idea. I was pleased the work was completed under 3 hours.
One thing I would have appreciated was a list of the itemized costs of each activity. The invoice only showed the total cost.

Trevor was very good: professional, knowledgeable and polite. His work was first rated. However the cost for 1.5 hours of his labor was over $550. This is we over my expectations. Before getting the quote I was telling friends about McVay and the MVP. Now I will tell them to steer clear because of the extreme rates

Technician was right on time. Was very professional and explained everything that was done. Along with offering tips to help maintain things my self. Did a great job cleaning my furnace and left things in better shape than when he arrived.

Saved me before closing on the notorious Monroeville dye test and put my sewer lines in, passed inspection, and patched up within two days. Cheaper than other quotes and if you zoom on this picture you'll see Turbo the site supervisor who made sure everything went smoothly. 10/10 goodest boy.

Engaged McVay for plumbing and heating work as well as general AC maintenance, etc., several times in the last year. Technicians have all been courteous, timely, communicative and knowledgeable in their performance. I will continue to their services as need and would recommend them to anyone.

I found the whole process of requesting service online with McVay to be very user-friendly. They were very communicative, sending multiple text, email, and call reminders to confirm my appointment and even calling me one time when I called accidentally and hung up without leaving a message, to make sure I didn't need anything. Jay had the problem diagnosed and completely fixed very quickly, in spite of my issue having stumped the last plumbing company to come out. And, the fix was surprisingly affordable! Great value for money and I would highly recommend this group to anyone.

John Ackerman came out from McVay Plumbing and Heating and out of 3 quotes for a new furnace and air conditioning unit he gave the best price and was very thorough in his analysis of my whole HVAC system which gained my confidence in selecting McVay to do the work. I would recommend John and this company if you are looking to replace your HVAC system!

I called McVay this morning at 8 am, by 12 both Mitchell and Randy had arrived at my house to take a look at my plumbing situation. Within 30 minutes, they identified the problem and showed me the depth of how bad it was (broken pipe behind a stack in the basement). They were professional and friendly and made me feel like I was being taken care of by a friend. While the work may have to continue beyond this initial visit, I'm confident that the folks at McVay will take good care of us and solve our issues like they lived here.

Edit: Nic B and Damean and their whole team came out, dug up our pipes and replaced them brand new in less than 2 days (including demolition and pouring new concrete!). I was incredibly impressed with Adam and Teale from the Operations side as well. Would recommend working with them for any plumbing projects you need done.

When my furnace wore out, McVay sent CJ out on a Saturday within three hours to get me heat. After the storm, they removed my old furnace and installed a new one. They even helped me shovel out my driveway. Great people.

McVay installed a new furnace last week. Very prompt and professional. Answered every question we had. It was a smooth experience from the initial consultation to the installation and removal of the old prehistoric relic furnace we had. Highly recommend 👌

In June 2025, I was informed by my Township that I had a broken pipe from my home into the main road that was going to require us to pay for the repair. I called McVay and they came and tried 2 different approaches before the really expensive one of digging up the road. In the end, the road did need dug up and we did need to pay for the repairs, but McVay worked diligently through alot of red tape and was able to come in $15,000 under the estimate. I'd definitely recommend them!

We had an outdoor faucet replaced. They had to cut a square about the size of a shoe box in the wall. Everything looks great! Very nice smooth clean lines in the wall, and they cleaned up everything, it's like they weren't even there! And it was less than an hour! Very professional great job would highly recommend.
