Don’t call this person!!! He’s a lair!!!!!’ My husband called on 3/29/24 , for our refrigerator that stop working. This person he spoke with said he’ll be out on 3/30/24 at 12:30 pm today . My husband called just to make sure he was coming out , and the gentleman gave us another time which was 130pm Well 130 came and gone . We called and then told us he’ll be here at 430 pm . Smh😞😞😞. I told him never mind because I feel that he didn’t want to come out anyway!!!! . So that’s very poor customer service..,.

DO NOT USE no stars Big time scam. Called for dryer repair (running but no heat) GLEN Never fixed the problem, got paid before the work was checked out of good faith. When he was contacted about the failed job (less than 24hrs) tried to say the problem was something new which was more money. The amount of money charged I can buy a new dryer. Karma will fix that man for LIFE

We got robbed the tech came out in October fixed the fridge I had to call him back now and he came back I asked to check everything please tell me if it was worth fixing or better I buy new. He suggested I buy the starter part the job was 800 total and pay upfront half for the part .. we did that he returned following day tells me it was the compressor and can’t do nothing have to buy new so here I am in the situation I feared pay for this guy to come and tell me I’m out 400 for nothing when that could of went to the new fridge ! !! He left with the 400 starter part too !

I am not one who habitually writes negative reviews, but we had an absolutely horrendous experience with Glendon Coore to the point that we filed a formal Complaint with the State Attorney General's Office, Bureau of Consumer Protection. Glen had diagnosed our dishwasher as needing a new water pump and the dishwasher still did not complete a wash full cycle, despite paying him $386 to fix it, and he demanded more money to come back and take another look at it! When I explained that all of my emails to his company had bounced back to my Gmail account, and that we were suspecting that he was a Bad Actor, Glen then refused to make us whole, and he would not refund us the money we paid him despite repeated, written attempts to be made whole! I would not recommend this Contractor, and I would not allow him in your house!

I can’t speak highly enough for the service I received from Glen with Appliance Service Pro 1. Glen was quick, professional, reasonable and down to earth. He even joked about me still using aol. Hahaha I called yesterday and Glen scheduled an appointment for today to diagnose the problem with my refrigerator. He arrived on time and was even able to fix the problem on the spot. I was not able to be there myself but before he did any repairs he sent me a video of what the problem was and why it was happening. He made a stressful situation pleasant and headache free. His service was worth every penny. I highly recommend Appliance Service Pro 1. Thank you Glen!!

My dishwasher is old and leaks. I needed it diagnosed to see if it’s worth repair. Service was scheduled the very next day. After diagnosis and thoroughly showing me where the two problem areas were, I was provided quote for parts and labor which were fair price. However, I wanted the pricing of a new dishwasher, since I didn’t think the old machine may not be worth the investment in repair. It’s on its last leg.

Appliance Pro (Glen) also worked with me to find new appliance and quote install pricing. Glen and Ricky came back the very next day to deliver and install new dishwasher and remove old one. Glen found me top of line dishwasher at incredibly below retail price ( I researched !) and efficiently and expertly installed. Very hard working, motivated and customer centric.

I will use the company again and recommend to others !

They are completely unreliable. For 5 days they have been rescheduling our appointment to have our freezer even looked at. They came up with multiple excuses why the appointment was rescheduled and we kept waiting. On the final day they didn’t show up so we called them only to have the woman say there are no technicians in your area and we’ll have to reschedule for Monday. We called someone else and couldn’t be more happier! DO NOT CALL FRONT DOOR PRO APPLIANCE!!! The are completely unprofessional and unreliable!

I am not one to write reviews but as a young pregnant woman, I feel like I need to try and prevent the next person from getting taken advantage of. Also AFTER seeing these reviews, I would have NEVER used this man. I reached out about a fridge/freezer that was no longer getting cold. Was told it most likely is a Freon issue and he had to drive to Havertown, I believe, to get obtain a part. Once “complete”, both were working properly. I then get a phone call a few days later stating the fridge was no longer cold. Reached out to Glenn, he then asks “what work got done” as if he was confused about the project I was speaking of. Then proceeds to say it must be a leak and I most likely need a new fridge since it will leak again. After going to purchase another fridge, everyone at the appliance store made it known that if it was a suspected Freon issue/leak from the beginning, a REPUTABLE contractor would know that it’s unsafe and ultimately unable to be repaired. I feel ripped off as I spent HALF of the price of the new fridge for a solution that was NEVER going to work. He doesn’t refund you and just disappears. DO NOT USE HIM!

This is the second time I called Philly Appliance Repair. Once for a washer and now for a leaking refrigerator. They are prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. I have had a lot of trouble recently with contractors in the city. I wish they did plumbing and electric! I’m going to stick with them for any appliance issues I have going forward.

Great work on fixing my dryer - came in, recognized and addressed the issue in 30 minutes. I was not able to be home but gave my son and wife a full rundown and left contact info if I wanted to discuss. Outstanding and thank you!!!

Woke up to a broken refrigerator, called Philly Appliance Repair (not knowing anything about them) an actual person answered the phone and came over 20 min later that day! Not only did he come right over BUT he fixed my fridge in 1 hour with a brand new part! I was very very happy with the company!

Great service so far - returning Thursday with needed part. Easy to make appt online, technician arrived promptly, was friendly and courteous, ordered part and made appt for repair before leaving.

Tariq was such a great help when it came to fixing my oven. Customer service was great, and quickly responded when I requested services.

They came out to fix a starter in my oven. They were quick to come. It worked after that but we were still smelling gas so they came out again and then told us it's good. 2 weeks later every time we turned the oven on it popped our fuse. We called them back and they told us that it's 30 days and they won't cover it and we should call an electrician.
We brought in a different appliance repair company who showed us that the starter they put in had a plastic connector which melted and was causing it to pop.
We called philly appliance again and they made an excuse and refused to take responsibility.
Not worth using.

The owner replied which made no sense. We had someone else just replace the starter that they put in under 6 weeks ago! And haven't had an issue since. And if you thought it was something else when u came out TWICE why didn't you say something then

Philly Appliance repair was efficient, arrived timely. The gentlemen was kind and knowledgeable. He explained to me in detail what was wrong with my dryer and advised what was needed to repair the dryer. He repaired the dryer and so far so good. I would recommend this company.

So helpful! We had issues with both our washing machine and water filter system in our fridge - Tariq went above and beyond to fix both - and even installed a new microwave for us! Easy to schedule and reasonably priced, also quick to respond to all communication!

On time, quick to diagnose the issue with my dryer and oven. Same day fix on the dryer. Oven needed a part to be ordered but won’t take long. I’m satisfied. I would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience using Philly Appliance Repair. My dryer was not working properly and Philly Appliance Repair was able to fix it quickly and much more cost effectively than getting a new one. They were very responsive when I reached out and were able to come fix my dryer the next day. I am so appreciative!

Came out same day and repaired my water dispenser and ice maker in my refrigerator for a very reasonable price. The repairman gave my dog pets when he arrived, which is also a plus! Thanks!

This was a NIGHTMARE. I was really excited to find someone with great reviews and availability the next day. When he arrived, on Saturday, he was quick to diagnose the problem as resulting from the fan. He said he needed to order the part and could replace it Tuesday. Tuesday came around he told me I wasn't on his schedule. After some back and forth he said he would come. After replacing the fan the problem was not solved but he insisted it was normal. I then asked him to come back the next day as there was a 30 day warranty and see if it was installed properly, and if not, if he could put the original fan back because the problem was not solved or worth $355. He came back and asked me where the old fan was, to which I said I never had it. He insisted he left it in my house, but I am positive he did not. So he left, refusing any other options. Now I just had a new technician come to diagnose the fridge. Not only is it not the fan, but Philly Appliances Repair bought the wrong fan, cut the wires and taped them together, leaving some wiring exposed. The new technician said this risked my entire fridge blowing up. Philly Appliances Repair has refused to explain what is included in the 30 day warranty if no repairs are included. He told me he would only look at it for another $89 diagnostic fee. He told me not to call him, he doesn't "have my time" and will not communicate with me to find a solution. Now I am out more than $400 (because I had to pay another diagnostic fee with a different company) and my fridge is in a worse state than when I initially called for repair. I now cannot properly repair it. I do NOT recommend using this company.
