We love our planters. They bring us so much joy every day! Potted Perfection also did some really helpful landscaping for our little Philly yard and helped with some shrub and stump removal. Highly recommend and look forward to having them plant some new flower boxes for us next spring!

We retained Potted Perfection for a patio design and fence installation. After an initial down payment, they provided a design that was double our budget. When we replied with what aspects of the design we would like to proceed with they informed us that we were locked into a minimum cost and would have to spend more than what we requested. Overall we were disappointed with the level of communication about the design, implementation and schedule. They said that would have our fence up in a week and it took 3 months. After the final walk through we identified a number of issues that varied from the design and asked to talk through them. We were met with a barrage of text messages demanding payment immediately. Feeling we had no choice and to avoid further conflict we paid on full. Then we started to have issues with the integrity of the fence and the gate. They came to pick up the gate and promised a prompt redesign and install. Months went by without a gate to our fence and we had multiple items stolen from our backyard. Ultimately due to lack of responsiveness we asked for a reimbursement to address the outstanding issues with another contractor. They offered an amount way below what was required to fix the issue and then stopped responding to our messages. We had to pay an additional 20% above what we spent to address these issues with another contractor. I see a lot of great reviews for landscaping and potting, and from their portfolio they do great work in this area. I would be hesitant to use potted perfection for other contract work.

#Response to Potted Perfection's Response: My intent in posting this review is for others to be informed on our experience. I am not requesting concessions or reimbursement from Potted Perfection at this time. The timing of this post, 1 year following installation, reflects the time it has taken to save the funds and retain a contractor to correct the issues.

I was bait and switched and disrespected in multiple ways to the point of tears.

I told them my budget was $10k to $12k for my little city yard and that I wanted a garden for my dog, and they told me what was doable. It sounded great and they seemed nice, so I signed the contract and paid my 40% deposit ($4,800).

Then we scheduled the design meeting, and Brandon no-showed and I had to reach out to Mindy to reschedule. Then again. Then again. Three days in a row of no-shows before he came on the 4th day we scheduled it. Additional meetings throughout the process were rescheduled last minute, and Brandon showed up an hour late to one of them.

When they delivered the design layout, it was for double my budget ($22,500). After weeks of difficult communication, it became clear that barely anything we discussed was going to get done for my budget, and there is no way to get your deposit back at any point, so I was stuck moving forward with the project. The definition of a bait and switch.

My design preferences were ignored throughout the entire process and I ended up with a design that is not what I asked for even after clarifying in writing multiple times. At a certain point I just gave up asking for what I wanted and went with the design because it wasn't worth trying to communicate with them after being ignored so many times.

On the first day of the installation I attempted to clarify things again, and sure enough, Brandon was going to install a smaller garden than previously agreed upon. After showing the written specifications that we had agreed upon for the dimensions again and bringing Mindy into it, Brandon agreed to install the garden as previously agreed upon.

Then when I went inside, he used one of my empty plant pots to cover up my security camera, and a few minutes later he unplugged the camera altogether (and broke my plant pot in the process, which he never owned up to). Brandon was rude to me throughout the 3 days of installation, barely speaking to me or looking at me, and not even letting me know when he was leaving my house or coming back throughout the day.

They brought extra items into my yard (like big rocks for the garden and an additional potted tree) to stage "after" photographs for their social media, and then removed the extra stuff once photos were done. Mindy told me this is "apart of the design Brandon sees". If they weren't able to do a nice design within my budget, why accept the job? When I told her I didn't like the idea of having extra things installed just for a photoshoot and then removed, she said "there's a particular way to go about things and trying to circumvent that will compromise the job." She also said "I am more than available to talk about this process and your constructive feedback upon completion".

Their idea of "cleanup", which is part of the contract and included in their service, was to sweep and spray all the extra dirt and mulch from the project into the alley behind my house, as well as to sweep some behind my recycling bin for me to discover later (this is on camera). I also had to clean up all the dirt inside my house that was spilled.

The yard is not what I asked for and not what they told me I'd get when I handed them the first $4,800 check. I never would have worked with them if they were honest about what they could do within my budget *before* I gave them a deposit and trapped me into the contract. They also didn't fully irrigate the garden and they didn't install a timer or splitter like they said they would.

***Reply to owner's response: I cried over being disrespected and bait & switched, not because I "begged you to come". I would have jumped at the chance to get out of the contract once it was clearly a bait and switch. Looking at your other 1 star reviews it seems you've had similar issues before. It's disappointing you're implying I put you in some kind of "danger" just to deflect responsibility from your actions and deceptive business practices. You're the one who unplugged my security camera, a strange thing to do if you feel you're in danger.

The name says it all! Their work is always perfection. I am a Yoga Instructor in Center City Philadelphia and I plan several events that I have worked with Potted Perfection. Their floral arrangements bring joy, color and elegance to every event I've planned.

I teach classes in my Logan Square studio and P.P. created a one of a kind piece with house plants for my wall along with custom wooden shelves & a cacti/succulent garden. They specifically designed these for my personality and I love them so much! Not only does it look magnificent but the plants also provide oxygen. What's one of the most important concepts of yoga? BREATH. Thanks to P.P. my students and I are always inhaling fresh oxygen during our practice. Namaste!

Thanks so much Potted Perfection! I highly recommend using them for anything under the sun that has to do with greenery & design. As an artist and yoga instructor I can honestly say Potted Perfection knows what they are doing and really creates beautiful work. No job is too big or too small for them, they are honest and warm people, and they are really helpful to consult with.

I ordered this bouquet for a best friends birthday. I had them deliver the bouquet to her job. She was soooo pleased with the way the bouquet looked, the warmth and energy of the Brandon (the person who delivered) and has been getting compliments on this bouquet since she received it on Monday morning. I had to come and write a review because here we are 3 days later and shes still talking about this bouquet and its beauty. Thank you Potted Perfection!!!!

So happy spring is here in and time for new landscape project. Storm damage was bad at my Florida home I was lucky to find Potted Perfection LLC. they travel. It was a pleasure to meet with Brandon and Mindy. They arrived promptly, budget, ideas and plans were discussed professionally. I was very impressed with Brandon's ideas and creativity which were much better than mine. When the project was completed I was very pleased with final result. Love potted perfection so much! I’ve worked with them for close to ten years. Watching their company grow has been a wonderful experience. Working with them had been beyond a great experience. They truly care about nature, people, and providing a magical experience. They’ve helped us design for our different spaces as we have grown as a family. We had such a great experience working with Potted Perfection. They completely trabsformed our backyard, from layout design to execution. We now have exactly the space we wanted - room for our kids to play and for us to host, as well as a beautiful flower and herb garden. Can't wait for this spring!!

Potted Perfection was an absolutely convenient, professional and easy to work with company for our gardening and landscaping needs. Potted Perfection did a fantastic job decorating for our wedding! We really loved their unique and personal touches, especially for our chuppah. We really liked their sustainable designs which we used for our centerpieces, grandparents memorial table, and guest book/gift table. We truly appreciated how helpful and accomodating they were with our wedding party, from our parents to the flower girls and ringbearer. They did such wonderful work that our photographer asked us for their information afterward! We would definitely recommend them for any event!

Love looking at these planters everyday! My goal with our Potted Perfection install was to bring life to the front entrance of my business, which looked empty due the lower foot traffic of the pandemic. I appreciate Mindy and Brandon's philosophy of "growing into" a space, which makes a more budget-friendly experience for someone who may need to begin with smaller or fewer planters, but also has a vision for expanding down the line. Their year-round or all season options provide flexibility for those who either want a one-time install; or, want to swap out plants seasonally.
I love that their planters balance beautiful bold colors and neutral greens along with different textures and shapes. Unlike something you might find at a chain garden center, or even do yourself, Potted Perfection installs look very natural and completely alive. During our initial consultation, they asked and listed to what my needs and budget were, along with asking about plant preferences and colors. I was very happy with the planters they designed and have had neighbors ask me if I was a botanist myself ;) HIGHLY recommend this local small business!

Potted Perfection is the best landscaping company ever. Mindy & Brandon did a fabulous job on my lawn. It is so perfect I can’t stop looking at it. They are so professional. I couldn’t ask for anything more. The combination of the flowers & bushes compliment each other. I have the best looking lawn on my block. I would recommend Potted Perfection a million times over. Beautiful work! I received two floral arrangements from Potted Perfection; a centerpiece for our Thanksgiving table and a loose flower bouquet for Christmas. Both were filled with a unique variety of fresh flowers, native greens, and berry branches. Vibrant colors, interesting textures and perfect size. Potted perfection also made a terrarium for my daughter’s nursery. A whimsical collection of living plants, a gnome, and a forest of mushrooms. So fun! I highly recommend Potted Perfection and look forward to working with them in the future!

Potted Perfection gave our business’s stairwell some much needed glow and life. They created the perfect living arrangement for us complete with a gorgeous Japanese Maple tree that we are can watch grow and change for years to come.

Potted Perfection are absokute professional and amazing to work with. Mindy was detailed oriented, informative, and thoightful right from the beginning. Brandon was a hard worker, hands-on artist, and deliver the work within the time they estimated. We are beyond happy with their work to our backyard and we will work with them again. Brandon and Mindy made my mom's front and backyards absolutely beautiful for her to enjoy in her later years. My what a difference! She loves all the colorful blooms and the chair they perfectly picked for her. Much more pleasurable to enjoy outside with the dogs. Highly recommend! Even better they come to maintain for us. Makes it easy and enjoyable.

Wow! That best describes my experience with the team at Potted. We recently moved into a new condo, and have friends who recommended them after having used them at their house. I could not have been happier I listened. They helped me through the entire process and made it much less daunting. They did a walk through and helped us select colors based on the the room and natural lighting. The colors they helped us select really pop and change throughout the day into night. The painters were extremely professional, they cleaned up everything without leaving a spec of pain on the floor. Our ceilings are 18 feet high which led other contractors to give estimates over 500 dollars more. As you can see from the pictures the fact that they were cheaper did not translate to sacrificing quality and precision. My wife already has already started discussing ideas for the bedroom with them!
