Working with New Market Builders on various projects in my house during the pandemic couldn’t have gone better. Mike, Lauren and their employees were always considerate of our needs, hard working and attentive to details. The end results are exceptional. It has been a pleasure.

We have used New Market Builders for the last twelve years on four different homes. Projects have ranged from full kitchen and bathroom renovation to simple window replacement and everything in between. Michael Campuzano has been nothing but wonderful to work with. We have not had even one issue and that includes repair on a rental property with a difficult and demanding tenant. Would use New Market Builders for any future renovations without reservation.

New Market Builders did a major remodel for us that drastically improved our quality of life, both in terms of usability (design) and quality (craftmanship). They made it a pleasure to live in our house again and we are so thankful that we were able to get them to do our remodel.

Throughout the project (several months) they communicated well and were very professional. All their subs were licensed and they managed all of the required permits and inspections with the city.

We initially hired them because they were local, had a great portfolio, and they provided both design and build services (a great attribute). We would definitely hire them again for those reasons, but also because they are such nice people. Highly recommended!

New Market Builders did extensive renovations to our home in the last few years. We are thrilled with the results. Lauren provided beautiful design work and Mike and his team did high quality work. We have been clients and fans of New Market Design+Build for several years. We have worked with them on 4 projects, the 1st being their design and remodel of our dream cook’s kitchen, the 2nd project was redoing our front of the house bump out, third was a remodel of our family room and the last project (so far) replacement of a skylight. All these projects were wonderfully conceived, and the buildouts were beautiful. Anyone who has worked with New Market knows that the heart and soul of New Market are the co-owners, Lauren and Michael. Lauren is a brilliant designer who can see multiple possible ways of redesigning or building out a space. Her insight and creativity are remarkable. Her design suggestions for our kitchen and family room made the rooms not just more beautiful but also more useful in permitting better traffic flow and easier access to various features used in these rooms. Lauren goes the extra mile to help clients as reflected by her sitting for hours with Joan-Marie to select individual tiles from several boxes of seeming the same, but slightly different tiles, that would match well for the backsplash for the kitchen counter. Michael can build anything… he loves the challenge of difficult seemingly impossible tasks. He might describe himself as a carpenter, but I think of him as an engineer, like other engineers I know, he sees the problem and solves it. He has a group of carpenters who work with him whose attention to detail is amazing (particularly Tom). The built ins that went into our family room were so beautiful, we asked two of the carpenters to sign their work as recognition of their efforts. One example of this was the abutment of a wooden bench to a stone wall where the 3 dimensionality of the Wissahickon schist stones was complimented in the wood edge making for a beautiful marrying of stone and wood. Joan-Marie and I think of architecture as art, and with this in mind, New Market has provided us with living and useful works of art in their remodeling of our home. You can trust Lauren and Michael to do their best to ensure that your remodel meets and exceeds your expectations.

I had a chip about the size of half a quarter on one side of bottom of outboard motor and a side with piece about a half inch by 3 inches(with the piece that fell out)

HIGHLY unethical. Had an emergency job last week in Philadelphia. The father is a reasonable guy. The son called me back and knew I was in a bind, so the price went from $850 to $1700 to do the job. Ended up thankfully finding another company to do the job for $700. I will NEVER, EVER call or recommend this company to ANYONE.
