I would HIGHLY recommend Tom to anyone who needs new tile or backsplashes. He recently finished tiling our kitchen floor and putting in a new backsplash. We already brought him back to start tiling our basement. His attention to detail and his expertise is next level. He takes a ton of pride in his work and treated our home as if it were his own. He thoughtfully laid out pieces of tile before setting them to match the veining in the design as much as possible to make the flow of the flooring look incredibly intentional. His communication was awesome, he was super professional, and he went above and beyond throughout the entire job. Tom will always get first crack at getting my business any time I need help with tiling.

Tom did a fantastic job on both the new backsplash and new kitchen flooring tile and executed our vision so nicely! Beyond the craftsmanship, he was wonderful to work with - from first meeting and talking through our ideas and recommendations to finishing the job.

He’s also a magician! After another contractor scuffed up the backsplash and we tried everything google said to fix it, he recommended a neat trick with the grout and the scratches came right out.

We called Tom to diagnose a problem we were having with our shower where a tile popped clean out of the floor mid shower. Tom came over and diagnosed it as a total shower failure, a crack in the floor grout was letting water through into our subfloor. Luckily he caught it before it caused serious damage to our house. We hired Tom to do a total renovation of our shower and he did an excellent job with the installatm. His team found multiple errors while demolishing the previous installation and improved upon them immensely. We even got to use our previous glass doors and they installed a new and improved shower head. Our shower now feels deluxe and I'm confident it won't fail again. I would hire Tom again for any of my tile installation needs.

Tom recently installed new mosaic flooring in my main bathroom. My house is 150 years old and unexpectedly had a major subfloor issue which was uncovered during demo. Tom handled the situation very professionally, problem-solved immediately, and worked a whole extra day to make sure the bathroom was completed on schedule. He was extremely communicative every step of the way and made me feel totally comfortable. He is an amazing craftsman and the finished floor is absolutely flawless (and that’s coming from a diagnosed obsessive-compulsive perfectionist!) The plumbers & carpenters he works with & recommended are also extremely professional and very responsive.
I’m SO happy I went with Tom and I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom floor. (OH - he even watered my plants because they looked “thirsty” haha) Tom is the absolute best, I would recommend him and his team to anyone!

It took me over a year to find someone willing to restore my 100+ year old Victorian tile. It’s a lost art! So tedious! Here are before and after photos. Tom did a phenomenal job. He did all of the research to ensure he used the correct products and was able to lift, clean, and relay almost all of the original tile. Absolutely gorgeous work! Can’t thank him enough.

Tom did a great job to help brighten up our boring, and in a few areas broken bathroom. We went from a few crack tiles due to poor settling and grout everywhere to a clean stylish look. He was a great communicator and helped arrange subcontracting for all portions that were not tile to help make everything easy.

At this point, Tom has done most of our entire house with tile renovations and we aren’t looking past his expertise! He’s able to come in and identify the current issues and possible problems if not fixed due to previous poor work. He takes all measures to make sure the house is clean while he’s working. He works extremely efficient and does an amazing job which is evident from his pictures. We have one more project to complete in the house and Tom is getting the nod. If you need someone to complete any tile, please give Tom a call. You won’t be disappointed and he won’t have to apologize for how well he/his team do. Tom is simply the best tile person in the area.

Tom Becker tile did an amazing job on our shower renovation. Tom was excellent with communication through every step of the way and was quick to respond to text and calls. He coordinated with and scheduled the sub-contractors (glass and plumbing), which was really helpful to make sure the project got done on time. Tom goes above and beyond with his craft and expertise. He lays out the tile to find the veining and arranges the tile to create artistic patterns and flow. Tom was a pleasure to work with and we had a lot of fun with the project. Overall great person and would recommend their work to family and friends.

Tom completed a restoration of the Victorian tile pattern in the of my entrance way of my home. His work and attention to detail is outstanding. He communicated with me throughout the project daily and completed the job on time. The finished product is beautiful beyond my expectations! He went the extra mile and removed and replaced the cement base even though it was not part of the original estimate at no extra charge! He cleaned up after his work and befriended my grouchy old dog. I highly recommend Tom Becker if you want someone you can trust to finish tile work with precision and pride.

Called tommy to work on my new house restoration project. It was my first house and Tom came out and was easy to work with, knowledgeable, explained in depth why I could/couldn't do certain things with my tile. We can't up with a plan and he went to work. 2 bathrooms, entryway, kitchen and even above my fireplace. The quality and attention to detail blew me away. 10/10 times I recommend tommy to anybody I come across looking for a real professional time setter.

After a refrigerator leaked and ruined our laminate floors, we needed to redo them. We decided on tile. Tom was recommended to us by a friend.
We had a wonderful experience with Tom. His work is impeccable. He treats tiling like it is an art. He made sure the rest of our house was protected during the work, so the dust did not get everywhere. He gave us a good time frame. He always arrived on time. His prices were great and fair. He responded to calls and texts immediately. And on top of that, he was really nice to our dogs. If you are looking for a tiling job, he is absolutely your guy!!!

My husband and I are first-time homeowners, living in a 100+ year-old home that we hope to stay in forever. We are not looking to get "good enough" work done for the cheapest price and flip for a profit. We are investing in it and will happily pay a fair price for quality, lasting work. Our biggest challenge has been finding contractors who are honest about what's needed and committed to doing things right the first time. Tom Becker Tile exceeded every expectation.

Our old shower floor had developed mysterious lumps. We had several contractors come out to diagnose the problem. Tom took the time to explain what he thought was needed, said no to things that would compromise the quality of the work, and was genuinely invested in restoring the space in a way that would last. It was clear from the beginning that he holds himself and his work to high standards. If he wasn't confident putting his name on it, he wouldn't do it.

Right off the bat, I could count on Tom to follow up on all conversations, answer any questions promptly (often within minutes), and keep us updated every step of the way. A+ communication throughout.

Beyond tiling, he managed all elements of the project—from demolition to plumbing to installing the glass—coordinating with other contractors. We didn't have to chase down separate trades or handle the scheduling ourselves, which was especially great when work was delayed due to damaged tile.

Tom had a professional working history with everyone on his team. He knew their work and trusted their expertise, and they were knowledgeable in their trades. We even hired the plumber, Ray from RAM Plumbing & Heating, on the spot to repair some issues with the piping in our basement.

Tom's own work was exquisite. It not only looked perfect but was done with a ton of care. He centered the floor tile perfectly around the drain. When the wall tiles were irregularly shaped and not aligning properly, he tore them down and problem-solved to install them beautifully.

They were also very clean. Every day, Tom came in and rolled out the drop cloths from the front door to the upstairs bathroom. He placed tarps around the bathroom to protect everything from dust. And he cleaned up every day after the work was done. I was worried I would have to do all this myself—not the case at all.

Finally, Tom truly went above and beyond during this job. Our tile arrived at Home Depot demolished (every single box, all 14 boxes!) the day before the job was set to start. Tom was patient, understanding, and even helped me navigate what to say to the store to get things reordered promptly with a discount. Because the delay pushed back the project, he moved his other jobs around and even POSTPONED HIS PERSONAL VACATION so we wouldn't be without a working bathroom for months. And I might sound like I'm exaggerating or making this up, but he also played fetch with our dog every day. Multiple times. We did not ask him to do this. I am 100% serious. Our dog genuinely misses him.

Let me start of by saying Tom is an excellent contractor, I was really impressed with the quality of work and professionalism. My expectations were exceeded his costumer service is top-notch and I would Highly recommend him to anyone. Tom was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and always kept me informed throughout the process. He finished the work within the given timeframe while still delivering quality work. In addition of everything Tom was respectful of my house he completed the work efficiently and left the workspace clean.
