We have been clients and fans of New Market Design+Build for several years. We have worked with them on 4 projects, the 1st being their design and remodel of our dream cook’s kitchen, the 2nd project was redoing our front of the house bump out, third was a remodel of our family room and the last project (so far) replacement of a skylight. All these projects were wonderfully conceived, and the buildouts were beautiful. Anyone who has worked with New Market knows that the heart and soul of New Market are the co-owners, Lauren and Michael. Lauren is a brilliant designer who can see multiple possible ways of redesigning or building out a space. Her insight and creativity are remarkable. Her design suggestions for our kitchen and family room made the rooms not just more beautiful but also more useful in permitting better traffic flow and easier access to various features used in these rooms. Lauren goes the extra mile to help clients as reflected by her sitting for hours with Joan-Marie to select individual tiles from several boxes of seeming the same, but slightly different tiles, that would match well for the backsplash for the kitchen counter. Michael can build anything… he loves the challenge of difficult seemingly impossible tasks. He might describe himself as a carpenter, but I think of him as an engineer, like other engineers I know, he sees the problem and solves it. He has a group of carpenters who work with him whose attention to detail is amazing (particularly Tom). The built ins that went into our family room were so beautiful, we asked two of the carpenters to sign their work as recognition of their efforts. One example of this was the abutment of a wooden bench to a stone wall where the 3 dimensionality of the Wissahickon schist stones was complimented in the wood edge making for a beautiful marrying of stone and wood. Joan-Marie and I think of architecture as art, and with this in mind, New Market has provided us with living and useful works of art in their remodeling of our home. You can trust Lauren and Michael to do their best to ensure that your remodel meets and exceeds your expectations.

Cost too much to install. Kept my down payment for installing. Horrible communication. Greed and not skilled.

They have terrible, long lines like I’ve never seen anywhere else. They have a lot of people walking around the store doing nothing but nobody working the registers. You will be at least one hour in line here. Find a Lowe’s!

The management team at this store needs to be completely replaced. The place was a mess before the pandemic, and it's a mess now. Associates DO NOT wear masks. Go to Lowe's.

Frequent customer...I can’t stand that this is the closest big box store to me. Always a mess... customer service is Philly poor! Parking lot is a disaster. Never has items in stock even when it says they do online or associates are too lazy to look for them. Please do better

Long wait line to check out. The pro-department also was backed up with only 1 cashier open. The normal check-out also have 2 cashier open. The Home Depot associate are also not friendly.

They take your money and then you have to bother yourself calling to see when they are coming to do the job. After they took my money and no one bother to showed up after a month, I had to call corporate to get my money back. Incompetent and rude. That's my experience.

Did electrical work for our back deck. Was easy to communicate with and did the job well ( and efficiently ). would recommend !

Colin was quick to diagnose and fix a few problems in my house. Jobs well done, courteous and professional as well.

Just a big thankful shout-out to Above all Property Solutions. We blew a main circuit breaker at 8pm on a holiday… went totally dark. Couldn’t get a hold of our usual folks so randomly called this company. 💯 recommend. Good people

I had Colin and his team fix my entire home. Not only did they beat every other quote they exceeded all expectations. I will recommend them to anyone with no hesitation. Service like them is hard to find these days. I highly suggest them!

Excellent company, very professional, courteous with reasonable prices. Colin arrived on time and installed three light fixtures and ceiling fan. Will use again and definitely will recommend to friends & family.
