Professional, friendly, skilled, flexible, prompt, versatile, and reasonably priced - everything I would want in a handyman. I have used Finest Fix twice for various small projects, and have been very pleased both times.

Did a great job with our door repair; however, they are deceptive in how they charge customers. We were quoted an estimate by the repair person, so we agreed to the repair then when we got the bill it was twice what were quoted. After some back and forth with the company, they eventually lowered our bill to the original quoted price.

Be mindful, that they start charging by the hour the moment they ring the doorbell. That means they’ll start charging you when they assess the repair, when they explain to you what needs to be repaired and while you deliberate you will also be charged. One would assume that the dispatch fee would cover this but it doesn’t. We unfortunately learned that the hard way.

I recently had to have some work done around the house. Finest fix was able to provide a quick quote and scheduled the work very efficiently. The work speaks for itself and definitely happy to work with them again. You can consider finest fix to help with any home projects inside your home.

Although I rarely leave reviews, I feel Finest Fix is most deserving of one. To piggyback off my neighbor (Mara Rosenthal’s previous review) they indeed were professional, efficient, and in a pinch came through for us. I needed a drywall repair due to some mild water damage from a small roof leak on a cathedral ceiling. Finest Fix responded promptly and communicated clearly. They arrived on time, and the work they did was exceptional. Impossible to tell the area was ever damaged. When I requested they use joint compound instead of spackle they accommodated my request with a reasonable surcharge. Would very happily use them again.

I'm seriously impressed with Finest Fix! When a massive storm wrecked my awning, they didn't waste any time. I called them on Friday, and they were out to assess the damage right away. They quickly checked out the damage and got the repairs scheduled before the next snowstorm hit. True to their word, their crew showed up on Monday and worked like pros, salvaging what they could and making the awning look brand new without breaking the bank.

The quality of the work is good, but I found the billing to be incredibly deceptive. I hired them to replace three trim pieces around an exterior door. Two guys came to the house for 10 minutes to check out the job, then went to Home Depot for an hour to purchase materials. When they returned, they worked for just over 20 minutes. When I received the invoice, I discovered I was charged for 3.5 hours of labor - $415 for simple trim repair. When I called the office, they agreed to reduce the invoice, but I find it outrageous that they tried to charge me for time spent away purchasing materials, especially for such a simple job and considering I had submitted detailed photos showing exactly what needed to be done.

Finest Fix was prompt in both their communication and their service. I reached out for their support across lighting, infrastructure, and appliances and I was more than satisfied with the work provided. Their crew communicated to me the root cause of all issues I was having, and the corrective actions they were taking. Honest, quality, and prompt service. They have my full recommendation and will be my first call if the need ever arises again.

We had a quirky fairly large job of removing and reinforcing risers and treads of an interior staircase, along with demolition and installation of a new handrail.
